Day 28 folks. I fuckin tripped liked a dumbass and broke a bunch of branches off the frosted apricots in the 4x8, kept an eye on it and it popped out some nanners so I had to take it down. Hoping I got it out im time before it pollinated anything but not positive. It's always somethin. Broke a head nug off the platinum silk too but havnt found any dix on her so that one might be aight. The leaf strip with the trellis is just no Bueno. Might try a different method next run where u strip everything below the first node on day 7 of flower and then a quick pluck down the line so I dont have to do matrix shit thru the nets like Neo dodgin bullets. Go use my codes for some floraflex shit 🤙

🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. The environment tweaks are on the way, and we’re building them the perfect stage for their bloom performance. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. So I did not expect that they would germinate overnight and ended up placing them in the bathroom for the time till the tent is here. To be honest, it is difficult to find stuff for the grow, I order everything on Lazada, but it is also quite expensive. As I also mentioned, they sent me the sent nutrients without the Grow B part, 3 bottles of bloom and one grow. I ended up just ordering another set of nutes. I would appreciate any light recommendation that I can add to the following light, so it would become decent lightning for all the plants. I am on a budget, so the cheaper the option at this point the better. The grow tent will be 2.4m x2.4, so I will be able to either add more plants or stretch these a lot. Cal Mag is also on the way. Started the grow without the nutrients, but got PH meter. Sorry guys, I was just too excited to start. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Buenas a tod@s....

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

So this and last week was all about dialing and maintaining temperature and humidity.. It's been quite hard to get the precise temperature and humidity because my growing closet is packed...My Gawd.. So she finally has Milky Trichs between the middle of her... The one thing that I wanted to test... So as I mentioned my closet is stacked lol so I decided to Chop off her 2 main Colas..Unfortunately I think my Grow light was placed too close to her canopy.. Which caused the two Main Colas trichomes to turn about 30% amber.. So this is a good trial to see if this will cause the smaller collas to fatten.. Keeping fingers crossed 🤞 🔀

Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. I was really hoping this two plants would finish before the year ended, however, it looks like they got others plans. See you guys next week.

Well, This week wasn't so great. Turns out that when the cat got into the Euphoria patch she snapped some stems. They were still being supported by the surrounding soil so I didn't notice it right away, as I didn't want to investigate too thoroughly and risk causing more harm to the delicate seedlings. When they began to droop in the next few days I knew. I suppose if I hadn't stressed them so much they may have recovered. But at the same time, It's survival of the fittest here. I'm an outdoor grower, and to be brutally honest I don't have the time to be fawning over every finicky seedling. I need strong plants, and none of the other seedlings were stressed out by the overfeeding. There's a part of me that feels like it wasn't meant to be. I said a few nice words before they went into the compost. So I'm down to one, and you know what? That's ok! This is why I got a 3 pack, in case something happened, and you know what? It did. I'd feel like a real dumb@$$ if I'd only ordered 1 seed. $h!t happens, your brain fog messes up the dilution ratio on the fertilizer and your nosy cat acts like a twat. It's life. And I still have other plants. So, this remaining seedling didn't get any nutes this week, just a flush when she aired out a bit more and then re-potted in Coast of Maine Bar Harbor blend potting soil. I color coordinated pots and strains so Euphoria got the bright yellow. We had a couple cold, drizzly days when they stayed inside under the lights and on the heatmat which Ive set down to 70F. Will probably get pinched next week.

The Mandarine Cream is in its second week of flowering and is stretching incredibly. The plant is growing nonstop, and the buds are swelling beautifully. The aroma is becoming extremely strong, shifting to a more citrusy scent, reminiscent of grapefruit. The plant is healthy and looking great. Ambient Conditions: This week started off warm (with a minimum of 23ºC and a maximum of 30ºC), but a cold front has brought the temperatures down again (with a minimum of 11ºC and a maximum of 20ºC). Humidity remains quite low, around 30-35%. Training: I’ve kept the main apical tied down, which has resulted in 12 colas. Other than that, I haven’t done any additional training or defoliation. Fertilization: I applied one final dose of nitrogen this week and nothing else. Pest Control: The Beauveria treatments continue, and I no longer have any issues with the fungus gnats that had appeared. Watering: I’ve been watering the plant very minimally, as the substrate has been staying moist on its own. Looking Forward: From here on, there’s not much left to do except let the flowering progress and enjoy the results.

Ginger Nut Cookies 16th Jan 2020 Well she's still alive despite me nearly cooking her by leaving her out in the full sun for too long 😄 Should have remembered to slap on some suncream 😂 Anyway Shit happens and I only lost the first set of true treaves and i'll refrain from putting her out in the sun for now. The reason I'm keeping it on the 16hr light schedule is because I think it will be photo dependant & I'd like to see if it can get a bit of vegetation growth before it tries to flower. Otherwise I'll only end up with a miniature plant and that would only be wasting my time . If it does sprout pistils during this lighting schedule then it must be an autoflowering strain but I dont think it will. **** Great Aussie Music Videos **** Last week was Gotye with "Somebody that I used to Know" It went number 1 for awhile here and did quite well in the US I believe. It's time to step it up a notch so for this weeks Video i give to you the one and only............Accadacca aka AC/DC with Thunderstruck 💪💪💪 I was lucky to see them live in 2010 for the "Black Ice " tour . Best Concert ever despite my ears ringing for days later 😆 Sadly Malcom Young passed away in 2017 and the lead singer Bryan Johnson had to retire from the band because of hearing loss ( No Wonder) So Check this video out and Rock your socks off to some Good aussie Music ..... I'll be back next week with more tunes and another grow update Grey_Wolf ****** https://youtu.be/v2AC41dglnM **********
