📆 Week 14, Harvest 11-20 January 2024 11 January - I made a determination to cut light power to 25%, and go to a 12/12 schedule, instead of turning light offs for 3 days. After a review of current philosophies and theories - I understand there may be a possibility that coldness, not light, could be more associated with a terpene and cannabinoid boost during this end process. So I will try something new. . 13 January - Harvest Day. When I opened the tent, the smell of fresh berries, sweet, ripe, heavy with a slight scent of pine filled the air. I cut branches and all shade leaves off, without damaging the sticky buds, and hung them to dry. The closet was at a low 35% RH (due to the 0-5 degree F temps outside) and 60 degrees F. It will remain here with circulation for about 5-7 days. 18 January - The buds were small enough and the closet RH staying staying 35%, it was ready to trim and jar up. This wasn’t too bad a process actually. The leaves flaked off prefectly leaving the bud in tact, so most of the trimming was done by hand using my fingertips, not clippers. A delicate process but fast once you get the hang of it. I’ve weighed and jared them up, along with a boveda 62% RH packet #8 in with each. Here they will stay and cure until their peak THC/terpene levels are reached at about 30-40 days, burped daily until a RH of 62% is reached and maintained. 📑 Product Review: Hybrid Indica Dominate The outcome: 4.2 ounces/119 grams of quality bud in about 90 days. The developer says just under 65 days, this could be done, it would have to be manipulated somewhat. The buds appear large, compact in size, but not so dense, a true bush variety. They are however loaded with trichomes and covered in resin. There is an excessive amount of sugar leaves that make it more challenging for the beginner to know how to care for it in later stages, especially flower. The Gorilla Runtz harvest was phenomenal. The buds are incredibly dense and pungent, packing a serious punch. Its compact size meant nearly the entire plant was covered in frosty buds, making for an impressive yield.

Mites are still a problem ive come to terms with the fact im not going to fully be rid of them so im maintaing them with lady bugs. I will be flipping bery soon watch for the next update!! They are looking beutifull!! Ive decided to take clomes of in house indica as well as cheese. Ive also begun the beginning stages of germination for another @greenpointseeds purple chem seed so be tuned for that. 23.06 Day 59 of bloom, from now on I check the trichomes more often. 26.06 Cleaned the tank and prepared a new solution, to flush the plants, since I see enough amber trichomes developing. I still add some major nutrients. EC level is at 0.6. I will continue to flush until 04.07 - day 70 of bloom, afterwards I will waterstress them, if they are not ready already.

I’m glad I started the diary with my first grow. It’s 2020 & this grow had all sorts of stresses and trauma but can out nicely. I’m forgetful & keeping track of the details helped tremendously; especially when everything has been so chaotic in the world & also in my garden. All’s well that end well...

Day 42 - I swapped the plant side and trained them a bit. I also did one last cleaning on the lower buds spots, which it wouldn't get enough light. Day 43 - The plants were heavily defoliated, the one on the left side more than the other. I also watered them a bit more this week.

Again, added silicate to this grow too, probably should have done only one first to see how it does. Time will tell. Did some super cropping on this grow too, seems to work. The plant under to cobbs seems to be doing slightly better. Not really sure as they are just over a week longer into flower. I am tracking this and will know more at the end. Buds are building and a pretty sight. Going to water less and more frequently, lets see how that goes. Also during flower I am not going to let them dry out as much. Maybe half way, as best I can and then water again. Cheers

This strain is one of my favourite to grow I'm addicted to the flavour and how fast she grows.. The team at @fastbuds have been very generous towards me and I'm happy to be growing out there strains ... She is healthy and will be growing a lot by next week cheers

The Pineapple Express was born and continues to grow regularly. It does not stand out for its speed but it will certainly be worthy of remembering the mythological strain.

Week is going super well, did notice trichomes are starting to develop more in the coming weeks. Still struggling with watering mainly because i have 3 different strains and i dont know the flow yet. Watering schedule is thrice a week, I nutrient feed on sundays, water on wednesday and compost tea on fridays 500ml each pot. Will be monitoring the trichomes hereafter, today is day 90 from germination, super happy with the results no stunted growth or slow growth. Will set my harvest day between day 120-150. I am targetting longer harvest time for the purple punch because they didnt fight for the light and bullied by 2 monstrous sativas. Since it is indica dominant, i am going to chop them once i see 70% amber

I am getting worried about it being too crowded in the tent. I decided that a good defoliation was needed but I was only able to get about 2 of them done. It's a time consuming process so I'll have to do each plant when I can throughout this coming week. I want to focus on taking out the little branches that won't yield much and remove big leaves to promote better air flow and light penetration. This also helps them to put more energy into bud production.

Great week 100% success. Feels nice to be at this point, everything will definitely get going fast now, soft transplant soon as they are ready. Thanks everyone

Well after asking some questions I discovered that all the autopots were 7 or more ph So I flushed plants down to 6.3ish and dumped entire autopot system. I had been checking reisvor but not the actual pots. They are freshly fed and phd down to 5.9. I hope that helps All the new growth looks green. i'm hoping things are better and just a bit stunted. Definitly FAR from where it should be though After a few days the res is 5.9 but the damn pots are fucking 7 again! I'm not gonna flush these bitches again. i dropped the res to 5.5 and mixxed in some of that in the autopots and the are now 6.2ish. Fuck it I hope that helps, they seem to be doing ok, so I think it was just on the edge of the spectrum. I hope dropping the PH gradually a bit works 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I have two plants that look good but small. 1 plant that looks small and fucked and one that looks big and fucked. I'm just looking for a game finish achievement Not much change over the last few days. more of the bottom leaves are yellowing and i can tell the plants are suffering but i think i just have to play this out. PH was 7 again in the res so i lowered it down to 6.2 and finally got a water pump in there. i'm hoping it circulates the water and helps keep the ph in check. The pots are higher again 6.6ish... This next feeding i will blast that down to 5.5 and try and hold it there a week. I got the tent camera going so i have a live feed up too. Its nice!

Commencing week 5/Day 29: on Nov 21st Day 29 All is doing well now and a few more plants have roots in water but tomorrow is going to be well below freezing as well as the humidity has dipped very low Day 32 Still growing steady the cold temps and low humidity haven't hurt or slowed them down too much Day 34 Happy to say 6 out of 8 girls have pretty massive root masses developed in past week into bucket. I have been very lightly foliar feeding every day a slightly acidic low ppm solution. Lights were put back on timer since the temp and humidity are going back up I don't need the lights for heat. pH has remained steady for past two days in low to mid 5.8s. Is this too steady I wonder 🤔 I put on fans today today as well as under lighting LED strip. D35 Am check-in and all is going well. All 3 Gorilla Zkittlez are absolutely killing it, way bigger than the rest of the bunch. Although the 818 Headbands and the Raspberry Diesel are not far behind. Unfortunately both the Boss Hoggs seems to be runt-ish. One especially is really funny looking. But I always cheer for the under dog in the fight so who knows 😎 Turned off under lighting. Raised overhead LED Panels up 3-6 inches and re-oriented (angled) towards girls. *I've decided to break off the barely mentioned personal crosses into their own journal in the next few weeks in case anyone was watching or wondering, it's coming. I'll be editing this journal accordingly when the time comes to be more accurate and useful. Lastly I am adding a new journal today for "🍋🍰" aka Lemon Cake by Moxie. It's terpalicious 👅. super sugary and lemony on the nose. Does anyone from the US or elsewhere know what's "Country-Time" lemonade mix is??
