Well mother fu**** woke up one morning and saw that one of the NANAZ got something that looks like nute burn (keep in mind I feed them all the same exact thing!) what happened to that plant should of happened to the others but what a pain in the ass.. it is completely brown now and I think I’m chopping it no room for uglies in the tent!

Plant is looking good, budds are getting bigger and give sweet sweet aroma. I have not changed much for last 3 weeks, defolation here there only.

I started germination of 3 Gorilla Girl beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gorilla Girl. I've only grown this variety out once. Did her in a 1 gallon SOG grow and she was a beast! Fat Chunky main cola just loaded to the tits in trichomes. Amazing bud structre and a definite cut above alot of the genetics flooding the market. I cant wait to let this variety loose in a larger scale grow. See what these powerhouse genetics really have to offer. Haven't grown out much sweet seeds stuff. But what I did test drive got there genetics into a larger setup. So caps off to them.

Week 10 - Here we go … we’re at Day 64 or the very first day of week 10 from seed. It’s been a nice journey so far with no big issues except for a slight deficiency in the first week of flowering, which I duly adjusted by starting off Plagron’s green sensation or HULK juice as I like to call it. Now we’re heading onto the finishing line with dense buds boasting an array of colours and covered in trichomes. I’m keeping the trichomes under check and currently they are 90% cloudy and 10% clear. Day 68 - woooooooh …. Nearly there Day 70 - Winter is coming Girls are ready for harvest and this time round I want to experiment a little. Starting today I increased the dark period to 10 hours and intend to give them 48 hours complete darkness before harvest somewhere around Day 77. The aim ? I read that simulating winter helps the plants increase their trichomes production for the last push before they die. I also decreased the temperatures and humidity levels. Will keep ya all updated 👍

Well it's safe to say the foop will work with legit strong good bacteria! But the focus has to be on the root health when it comes to how much food you can add and still maintain healthy roots. But the game changer for me has been switching to a air stone, 1st and for most. The recirculation pump suggested by foop when running foop in dwc ran the solution temps into the high 70's around 77°F and anything over 75°F has been where root rot sets in for me. Even switched to way smaller recirculation pump with same results. So switching to running a air stone was big! But also found that running one Vivosun 317GPH Air Pump 15W split to 4 plants was not enough air for the roots to be happy in the foop plants. So I moved to a 2nd air pump, same size per tent. So now it's only split to 2 plants on the foop plants. And that made a big difference! But found after a few weeks that I had to bleed a slight amount of air off because there soo much extra air the humidity was sky rocketing in the tent to high 80%. So there's a sweet spot where they get extra air but not soo much that the humidity is affected. But the 2nd most beneficial thing I've done is start running Orca. It has made such a huge difference. I think I need to go up with how much I'm using or find something that works even better if possible. But the sweet spot now is 8 to 9ml total of each foop veg/bloom 1,2 and sweener. When I go to 12ml with foop 1,2 the roots take a noticeable hit. So idk how I would go to the recommended 20 to 50ml per gallon as suggested on the foop grow chart. I tried going to 10ml foop 1,2 on this one but the roots didn't like it and it shows they have never turned back to a blonde or white color again Currently running around 6 to 10ml orca total per feeding. And adding 2 to 4ml when I add foop 1,2 mid week and got happy roots! Also the Seaweed extract has made a difference in the smell the plant puts off. Last few grows have been really muted with smells and this grow I actually get hit in the face when entering grow room. So has made a difference forsure!! I'm soo excited!! Currently has issues getting the humidity below 55% in the grow room. I was running 6 damprids 1 on intake(outside tent) to tent, one on inside of tent(at inlet) and 1 on exhaust(outside tent) for 2x4 tent and 2 hanging at 4x4 tent exhaust and one hanging by ac unit. That brought it down like 5% over all but now I'm running 12 damprids to try and get the room down humidity in the mid 40's. We will see. The house runs a swamp cooler and that basically makes the whole house pressurized. So even tho I sealed the grooe room door and the window with ac the best i can. it's a uphill battle! Once swamp cooler comes on the humidity in grow room climbs like 10%. This week I stuck with plain water, cause you can see burns on the ends of the leafs and some yellow ones on the bottom. Now runoff is just around 1000ppm vs 2000ppm in the start of the week and I'm going to feed she in the beginning of next week.

Sooo.... The last week was a bit of a pain in the ass. I flushed the plant on day 14 and just gave the plant plain water for the remainder of week 3 in flower. By about day 18 I started to notice that the leaves were getting a little yellow on the top of my mother plant. The LED lights were only 7 inches from the canopy! I hadn't been paying attention to how much the plant had grown and how close it was to the light. I raised the lights so they are 14 inches above the canopy. I thought that would make the color of the leaves return. However, her condition started to get worse. Several of the fan leaves on the top of the plant started to curl up and fold like tacos. I also noticed that some of the top fan leaves were getting copper colored tops and edges. some of the lower leaves under the canopy began to fall off with severe deformities and grey patches. Some research into the matter led me to believe that I had nutrient deficiencies. I knew that I had not fed her nutes in almost a week but I don't think that would lead to the plant's current condition as quickly as it did. I then tested the Ph runoff from the pot and it was incredibly acidic! Almost 5.0! My crap Ph pen had crapped out and was giving erroneous readings. I have since flushed the plant again and properly Ph'd the water. Now I have to wait and see if her condition improves. I hope this doesn't affect the yield too much. Pro Tip: Always calibrate your meters before use!
