We are in the 16th day and these babies are developing very quickly.

Auto Opium has been doing some bulking. Looks like she has about a week left of bulking, then a week to ripen. She was starting to worry me. But has started filling in. Everything is looking good at the moment. Opium is quite fantastic, the incredible storms have not harmed her in any way and she is booming the blooming stage! Aside from a few dark spots on her leaves there are not any complaints from us and if you could smell how delicious her aroma is, you would understand why. Our only addition to the weekly maintenance has been Epsom salts in the rain barrel, Opium also had a one time dusting of coffee grounds to the top of her soil bed. Our only worry is the weather this year, the storms have been fierce and the rain will not let up. Our temperatures at night are quite low already, the two biggest fears for an outdoor grow is bud rot and or not finishing before the frost arrives. We are confident that our Opium will be fine although only time will tell.

Another good week for these plants. They all seem very happy and they have started to focus more on bulking up the flowers. They are starting to smell amazing and I'm getting anxious to see these flowers develop over the next few weeks.

Bueno esta semana estaban muy bien la planta pero ya estaba muy alta y estaban por llegar a la altura máxima de la carpa , pusimos una malla así bajaban las ramas y podían recibir mejor luz toda la planta, estamos fertilizando con engorde y guano también abonamos con humus de lombriz, la planta está muy bien así q vamos a ir viendo como sigue

After a lot of research I realized that my plant needs more food. I increased the PPM to 700PPM and plant seems to love it. Also I started spraying with Neem Oil and Copper Fungicide since I noticed some rust on the leaves. Also this week I added Roots Accelerator.

Día 08. Arranca la segunda semana. Las plantas pegaron un estirón grande. En una semana crecieron 20 cm. Un poco de espigado hay, pero nada preocupante. Las dos que fallaron van a quedar ahí. Por el momento la solución mantiene la misma formulación. Espero lograr obtener un poco más de crecimiento. Día 13. Fue una semana movida así que no pude actualizar más. Ya estan en una altura interesante. Estuve cortando las flores chicas en las ramas bajas. Aún espero que sigan estirando un poco, dado que la variedad es sativa. Espero tener más referencias pronto, porque por ahora no imagino ni de casualidad lo que puede llegar a ser.

Just waiting it out now. No added nutrients, just water. Bubba and Black Dog have exceeded their expected flowering time, and both are at 95% cloudy with 5% or so still clear. Chemdawg and The New can take up to 70 days or more so we’ll see if they’re late too. Bubba is a foxtailing machine. It was one weekend in early Flower when heat/humidity got out of hand while I was away for 3 days. She hermied a bit and I’ve had my eye out for bananas ever since (find a few every so often). Taking a risk to keep her in the tent with the others but if I catch them early enough the others should be ok. Interestingly I found a YouTube video of a guy that ran bubba and had the same foxtail development (also the same scent description and look overall). Nothing like the gorgeous fat purple budded girl I had last year but the citrus smell on this lime green bud pheno/version is impressive. Curious to see how the smoke compares. Scent combo from all four plants is amazing!

Day 64 — The art of lazy outdoor growing continues 🌿 The sun is finally showing some strength here in the UK, bringing with it higher temperatures and increased watering demands. The flowers are visibly thickening, pistils are multiplying, and the bud structure is clearly advancing into the next stage of development. The plant’s growth in height has stabilised around 80cm, holding steady for the second week now, which suggests that most energy has fully shifted into flower production rather than vertical stretching. As planned, my cultivation remains purely natural — no covers, no tents, no boosters — only high-quality super soil, nature’s cycles and minimal human intervention.
