Watered with compost tea, and bent/trained the plants to shape the canopy for a SOG setup. Everything is going smoothly; we’ll give them another 7–8 days of veg, then flip to flower.

iirky 👋🌱✨ day 82 Harvest happened right in the middle of a heatwave. During the last few days, I was barely able to keep the temps around 26–27°C. To keep the temperatures down, I turned off the bottom light for the last few days and dimmed the main led. + day of darkness before harvest.

The plant grow so fast you could almost see it happening. It was resistant to drought and handled anything I threw it's way. I highly recommend this strain. The best grow techniques are main-lining or topping, from my experience.

9/20 Man I've been busy. I'm sick too. Looking back at my diaries I get sick this time of year every year it seems. Once I get the important stuff done I'll put some pictures of finished product up. Sunny today and windy as hell. All the plants left seem to be doing good and look like they'll finish. The pink kush might not finish how I WANT but it's stinky and has lots of milky trichs. I'm playing with fire with this mk ultra. It's fucking done. It could get a LITTLE more amber and maybe come together a bit more but I don't know if it's smart to risk it. Frost warning in effect tonight. I'll probably check the forecast and harvest tomorrow. We're having some good weather just cold nights. Then it turns to like a 30% chance of rain for 4 or 5 days. I'll yank it before that. This actually turned out tp be a pretty good year. Haven't tested everything (especially shit in the ground) but what I have sampled I'm incredible happy with. 9/21 IT was a balmy 36° on my way to the garden. My windshield had frost on it. Surprisingly the TIGHT nugs of the pink kush and this phenome of 10th planet didn't seem to mind it. Both strains are still increasing in size, smell and trich development. Not just changing but adding more. Trichs on trichs. Very in hospital environment. It will be interesting to see what happens with these girls. We will be getting some rain. I mean we've had SOME but I mean real rain. If thays the case I'll put these in the garage for a little bit. Honestly I thought these would be goners. I've gotta get to work trimming bucking and manicuring flower. Doing a garden like this sure is an awful lot of work. But the reward is worth every penny. HAD to cut a main branch of the tenth planet as it had stem rot. Lots more cold weather coming. If I could get it done and I wasnt sick and have all this other material to process I would probably pull then. It's getting really cold. We're going to be getting rain. Hey Guys! We are back at it again and wow thing's starting to pick up. I must be lucky with this bean's i guess, everything runs smooth and all the 4 girls just living a good life right now. Dinafem Diesel: flowers well under high RH. I have high expectations from this pheno, fingers crossed it packs a good punch and flavor. Overall really fun to grow. Seedsman c99 x Blueberry (fast): Preform really well in humid conditions both veg and flower (like most Thai i've grown). The smell is there from the start due to the terps in the juice is really strong smelling of "rotten dank meat" both in veg and in flower, but the trichomes on the flower smells like sour fruity candy right now in week 4 and it's really pleasant to keep smelling. Must say it's kinda addicting. Cali Connection Girl scout cookies: The size of this plant is quite good for indoor, as it didn't stretch much in flower. A faint smell of mint and cookies from the flower not too strong yet. I will try grow out this pheno under better conditions more suited for "Kushy strains". Greenhouse seeds Super lemon haze: Ok i need to say this first. Scrog or topping or even mainlaning is a must to grow this one. It grows big and have massive branch production and cannot support its own weight 9 seeds out of 10 (or maybe only me, idk). it preforms well under slightly higher RH then normal but i would not go over 50 % week 4. I started to feed Booster and Calcium just to get the plants to fatten up a bit. i will dry out the pot then start the Blumat system after a few day's in hope that plants will drink and explode in flower production. I might edit in new pics of a random plant over the week. Lets call them Bonus Pic's just to keep thing's fresh. Don't forget to leave a Like😄 Until next time Cheers!

Plant is 6 weeks from seed tomorrow, I have upped nutes to 3ml per litre of both A +B Canna coco nutrients for a couple of waterings but she's soon started showing nute burn again so i've lowered to 2.75ml . Stretch has slowed right down and I'm hoping will stop very soon

pH was still leaning towards the low side earlier in the week, but by Saturday's watering, pH is within desired range. Indoor AC unit is broken this week (will be replaced by next week) - but have been improvising to perform temperature control inside the tent as much as possible. Daytime light is currently set for overnight, as to mitigate overheating during summer months. During this week while we are improvising, the focus is on keeping the tent temperature as close to 80 degrees F (ideally below, but with outdoor air temps being around 100 daily, this is difficult this week). Using ice buckets and multiple oscillating fans to control the temperature as much as possible. Plants are under some stress from this, but leaves are not wilting and are only slightly discolored on some of the tips, which has improved with Saturday's heavy nutrient feed. Will update next week once AC unit is back and tent conditions are more under control, but thankfully plants seem to be making it through, and should bounce back quickly once conditions are back to normal. Nutrient type was switched to Fox Farm Big Bloom; a heavy feeding was performed on Saturday as the plants were a bit nutrient deficient, but will return to maintenance feedings on next feeding. Tuesday's Watering: Plant 2 - 1.25 gallons of water (pH: 5.41) - 0.5 tsp/gal of Bergman's Plant Booster Plant 3 - 1.25 gallons of water (pH: 5.56) - 0.5 tsp/gal of Bergman's Plant Booster Plant 4 - 1.25 gallons of water (pH: 5.91) - 0.5 tsp/gal of Bergman's Plant Booster Saturday's Watering: Plant 2 - 1.5 gallons of water (pH: 6.43) - 1/2 cup/gallon of Fox Farm Big Bloom (heavy feeding) - Height: 28.74 in Plant 3 - 1.5 gallons of water (pH: 6.27) - 1/2 cup/gallon of Fox Farm Big Bloom (heavy feeding) - Height: 23.23 in Plant 4 - 1.5 gallons of water (pH: 6.54) - 1/2 cup/gallon of Fox Farm Big Bloom (heavy feeding) - Height: 27.56 in ***General Hydroponics pH UP solution added. Will hold on next feed to re-assess where pH levels sit, now that they are within desired range.

Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like they’re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and I’m at a loss for what to do. I’ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know what’s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I don’t think the problem is genetic. It’s definitely root bound but that doesn’t cause contorted new growth like that. I’ve concluded that it’s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight I’m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until it’s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. I’m also going to give it a light defoliation. I don’t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I won’t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since it’s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I can’t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) I’ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be what’s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that I’m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be what’s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. I’m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I don’t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. It’s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. I’m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something I’ve been reading about called ‘soil compaction’. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they don’t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and it’s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didn’t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and I’m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I can’t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but it’s worth a shot. I’ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. I’m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think it’s the mystery problem. I’ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess I’ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I won’t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but aren’t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when they’re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called ‘paclobutrazol’ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldn’t have to pay people as much to trim it. I’ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. I’m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. 🤷‍♂️ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. It’s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that I’m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and it’s indeed under watered. I’m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I don’t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. I’m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

😃 Pretty excited. This is my 2nd attempt. Last time seedlings were placed in a window and I think the A/C was too much for them. I also used miracle grow potting soil in the yellow bag. This round will be in a full controlled environment in the basement. Ambient room temp is 73 degrees, 50%-60% humidity, and I am using MG moisture control potting soil in the blue bag. So far so good!

My god what a Week🧐😔😁 I had some stress over the plant, the lower leaves where getting yellow, and brown spots. I removed the top layer of the soil, because I found al those tiny white little flea's. They are gone, @ least the majority of them. Then I had a water leakage in my Pot. The soil was rock hard, because the roots, I guess,, Al of the above, is solved,, but time will tell..😀😬
