Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. Hello! I did an LST on the two tallest floors, leaving the smallest one as it was. Week by week growth is impressive! I added trichodermas in the irrigation, I am going to wait about 21 days until its new application. I think it's time to start with Top Veg or similar. What do they say? Cheers!

I have a few strains in my tent at the moment but as it's my first diary I will be sticking with the one strain which is sweet deep grapefruit by dinafem seeds. Into week 8 we go, last week before flipping to 12/12, plant looks healthy and seems to be thriving using remo nutrients at the exact dosage recommended, only issue is new growth seems to be a little skinny an twisted at first but then sorts itself out any ideas why this could be? Humidity has been a little low past week but as I'm flipping soon I'm not to bothered by that. Give plant a little defoliation last week doesn't look like I touched her thhe way she bounced back lol. So far so good happy with the progress she's making :)

The grow was one of the best I've done, the strain itself is awesome, taste, smell and effect are all 11/10. If theres one strain I would grow again it would be this, if you haven't tried it.. it's a must grow. A hidden GEM for sure. Do not miss out!

Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer. 5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! It is nice to be able to just sit back and watch them on auto pilot.. :-) Tomorrow Water Change Day!! 5/27/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Flower (Day 114 overall) I admit it.. I had to defoliate a little bit.. I looked in while changing the water today and there were just a couple blatant offenders blocking the light from lower bud sites and those leaves they just had to go. Other than that I changed the water and this week is where I drop everything and start preparing them for this last phase of the grow. Loving a few of these buds they are starting to beef out very nicely. Other than that I took off a few little sucker buds trying to form. I did start to setup my Dry space as well as did a Trichome Check today and the brown tips are coming in nicely. 5/29/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Flower (Day 116 overall) Found a few baby sucker buds trying to form so I removed them. Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. I am uploading footage of the reversing process for your viewing pleasure.

Opium is maturing faster than the other 2 outside photo periods Fractal & Lemon Cake. Many of the feeder leaves are yellow and fall off at the slightest touch. The buds are dense and starting to be sticky. She is strong and resistant to our heat & humidity, and pests. Her tall lanky structure is true to a sativa. She had huge fan leaves and long internodal stretch. This strain would definately need topping or other high stress training to keep her short for a tent grow. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants continue to grow and now start to develop the first flower clusters. They both have a healthy green color and love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule. The Barbarian plant#1 is still shorter than plant#2, but both have bushed out fine now and continue to grow more budding sites. After this week I will take off the biggest fan leaves for defoliation in order to let the light penetrate better thru the canopy.

Always used the least amount of calmag if this specific plant and it was always darker green than I'd like but that's jus the picky plant
