Day 82 - 12/12/19 So harvest is here and what a journey this has been :) This plant took much longer than the others but paid off at the end with huge colas! Wet weigh was around 400g so im expecting about 60g from this once dried :) Has a slight fruity/spicy taste to it. i wont be able to honestly tell until fully dried and cured though :) Big thanks to RQS for thier amazing genetics and a big thanks to all who helped out along the way! Il update the dry weight when dried and the bud report all throughout curing :) Day 85 - 16/12/19 All buds have been dried and damn it really filled up this 68g jar! i got 64g dry weight of prime buds probably another 10g of popcorn buds that i threw in with the trim. coming into heavy flowering i expected an ounce, after i started adding calmag and pk13/14 the buds exploded. and my expectations raised to about 45g. for it to be 64g at harvest from a 43cm tall plant thats something. A few experienced growers reckoned the high yield was because of polyploidy which i believe is a genetic mutation. i looked it up and i cant say if this is what happened or not. The bud has been dried fully and slower than last time, ive tried to have airflow somewhat around the buds but not too close to avoid drying too quick. Ive only been curing for a day but its so smooth already. ive never tried anything like lowryder which is the makeup of this strain so il have to honestly rate it once cured for a week or so :) but until then i will say its been getting me quite stoned and couchlocked. i definitely harvested near the end of the harvest window. il add a final update once cured for a week so u guys know what this strain is like as a final product. Day 89 - 19/12/19 Ive cured for around a week and ive been smoking the buds and watching christmas movies alot! :'D The curing has developed a nice hit on the throat and more flavour along with burning better in joints and bongs :) ive smoked some exotic strains but i honestly feel this is among the best grown smoke ive had. it just feels so well grown with a smooth burn! i definitely harvested on the later side of the harvest window as buds have mostly amber pistils and smoking them gets me pretty stoned and sleepy! this is great as i have trouble sleeping and relaxing. i havent had this much sleep in a while. while i would say this is fairly average bud i still would rate it a solid 7, sure it might not have a strong exotic smell or flavour but it gets the job done well! and the high yield really impressed me. considering i need to be growing enough to stay medicated the 64g dry weight really made my day! Its very relaxing to know you dont have to struggle to get your medicine! I added a few photos of the best buds in the jar and im really impressed with myself for growing some fat buds! Hola con esta semana ya quedamos al dia con el seguimiento ya que estaba atrasado en el tiempo. Se nota una producción de resina notable en esta genética que nos ha gustado mucho por su olor y estructura de las plantas . hemos creado un video por cada una de las 14 plantas del seguimiento, hay varias muy llamativas que están "pre-seleccionadas" para mantener a futuro, el olor que se llega a sentir es muy florar y dulce, si tienen alguna pregunta no duden en preguntar saludos. Hello with this week we are already up to date with the follow-up since I was late in time. There is a remarkable resin production in this genetics that we liked a lot for its smell and structure of plants. We have created a video for each of the 14 floors of the follow-up, there are several very striking that are "pre-selected" to keep in the future, the smell you get to feel is very flowery and sweet, if you have any questions do not hesitate to Ask greetings.

End of Week 4, Defoliated and more training, first feed at 378 ppm. Humidity is high so added the dehumidifier. Hoping for another week of veg before flower but some are looking ready to go. Just started another journal with Papaya Cookies and Pound Cake.

This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. This girl is interesting. The two middle colas are hard to separate and using some ties to push them apart. No smell coming from this girl as of now. I had to add a number of blocks to raise her up to level the canopy. I hope she'll improve. 6.9 3rd veg week got done and all is good. Girls are healthy and growing well. Strawberry Lemonade's looks almost identical to each other.. nice. I started adding some Bio Grow after spotting some nute defs. But otherwise not much to report. I have tried to keep these girls 4-6h darkness. To give them some rest. Next weeks update girls are in well cleaned tent thanks to my lovely human 😂 girl 😍 Ok stay high till next week!! 👽

Overall I’m very happy to end my first run like this. I think I made a pretty decent job and I can’t wait to try the finished product after curing. Happy growing everyone! 🍀🌱

Las flores aparte de prietas se ven bien resinosas. a sido una genética con la que disfruté mucho cultivarla, es algo complicada cultivarla pero merece la pena si eres cultivador con experiencia no te será problema cosechar. Flushing this week. She seems to be pushing more white pistols and will be ready next week. Smells like melon! Really nailed the terps! Just kind of left it alone and easy peezy. Humidity has been tough to control but running the dehus no stop!

Week 8, last week of feeding. Plants look good, smell is nice, super sticky! Round 2 with this strain has been better, compare to round 1, but I still find this strain very nutrient hungry.

Well the leafs are turning yellow allot and quickly. But so far the buds are still nice and green. Buds are getting nice and frosty too. buds are getting denser so thats good too. So far so good. 2 weeks left still as you can see not all the pistilles are red yet. 🙏🙏

Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution.
