In fact, it simply reduces the power by 25% two hours before turning off and the same with turning on. The point here is that I prepare the compote in advance, respectively, I also lower the psh in advance, and for some reason in my sick head I was completely confident that Plagron ph down would keep the psh at the value I needed, but I was wrong. (Now it’s worth thinking about which of us is still down). Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. On to week 2. This is interesting to say The least. VS-1 has a strange mutation. These will be sex tested this week. I was delayed because the USPS lost my farmer freeman kits. They came in 10 days late😭😭

Co2 order never came in but better late then never I grabbed a bottle of tnb from my local grow shop and let it goto work. This week went great The purple buds are very rewarding 😁 Excited to see what next the week has for my babies

La semaine s'est bien passée, j'ai introduit le sensation verte dans l'alimentation, j'ai augmenté la quantité d'arrosage à la fin de la semaine aussi, la plus grande plante mesure 112 cm, la plus petite a changé et mesure maintenant 70cm. L'odeur devient de plus en plus précise, fruitée, citronnée, alléchante. La température, c'est n'importe quoi, ça monte à 33, ça redescend à 24, pourtant il ne fait pas chaud chez moi et j'ai un extracteur de compèt, peut être rajouter un intracteur de plus... J'ai arrosé avec les engrais en début de semaine avec un ppm de 550 et un pH de 5.8 puis j'ai arrosé avec un litre d'eau par pot à 5.5 de pH et à 14ppm( Mont roucoux) les plantes ont eu un peu soif mais elles vont bien.

Start week 4 , Bio Grow 2 ml/L + Cal-Mag Xtra 2 ml/L ( Ph 6.6).

Hey guys! Here's the 3rd week of flower! 😻 This week I trimmed my babies (just a little, about 8 leaves or less each plant). Some leaves were healthy but were blocking a lot of light from the flowers and tucking them wasn't doing the job anymore. Besides that Boomer stretched out a lot (which also worried me as I didn't want my babies to go wild on me. I LSTed some of them hoping that would fix the issue). Where I live has been getting somewhat cold at night and I fear that might be doing something to my babies (I hope to be wrong). Besides that the flowers are getting bigger everyday and some are even starting to show some trichomes (I think looks cute!). The pistils are also getting bigger and the smell is stronger now (it was already strong). Near the end of the week I saw Falco's leaves were getting yellow and I suspect it is nitrogen deficiency... and what's causing it is probably some residues at the end of the pot (so I might need to flush her) or maybe I just need to feed her more nutes). Keep in mind she used to be quite small during veg and only in the end she grew enough to be transplanted to a bigger pot. Maybe she's just special? This week you'll see less timelapses compared to last week... I forgot to take photos for about 3 days 😅 but at least there are some! I hope you'll enjoy what I'm sharing! Thanks for reading! 👋

Another Friday! I think I made a bonsai but really like her! Smells good!

My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Feeling like I started her flush too early. So I gave her some food. Not much change but she is fatter and some of her leaves are fading or turning purple. Looks like a 3 monther.

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.
