Flowering Week 23: The Great Defoliation & Purple Hints Update: 17.08.2025 | Day 163 Hey Growmies, Week 23 was all about the snip-snip – gave both ladies a serious haircut and opened up them tight spaces. Airflow’s king now, and these girls are breathing easy. Here’s the wrap: Durban Poison – Cleaned & Gleaming After that defoliation, she’s standing tall like a proper little tree – clean stems, no clutter, just good light and air all through her core. The buds are frosting up with pistils that’s turning a soft, shy purple. Real pretty. Smell’s picking up too – still subtle, kinda old-school. Not like these new genetic gas-monsters. If I had to call it something? Flowery. Earthy-flowery. Simple. Honest. Blueberry – Tall, Late & Mysterious This girl’s still reaching – almost 2.20m now, though only three mains broke the 2m mark. Rest is hanging around 1.80m. Buds are forming slooow, pistils are shy. She’s blooming on her own damn schedule – way behind Durban. Started sexing at the same time, but now it’s like Durban’s sprinting and Blueberry’s strolling. Starting to sweat a little… if she’s too late, mold might sneak in when the autumn damp hits. Not much of an update this week... went camping in the backwoods of Temagemi.... it was amazing :) I did a video update when I got back... it'll have to do.

Just been flushing her these past 12 days, and she is starting to fade, so I'm harvesting her this weekend. Gonna try bud washing her as well, I'm excited to see if it has any effect on the quality of the smoke.

Week 8 and there definitely starting to smell a lot more now .buds on the plant at the back are getting bigger and starting to feel quite dense and the one in front is starting to pack them buds on now getting frosty 😁

Had to move her to a smaller space with a weaker light. But she has the entire light to herself. I ended up giving her one more dose of cannacoco A and B and the pk 12/14 also by cannacoco. Will be flushing her with ph’s water at 6ish going forward. I may harvest her top buds first and give the lower buds some time to catch up.

Hi there Friends🕊️ Purple Lemonade is still doing really good! New light arrived today so all 3 Plants are covered up nicely. I wish i would have startet in 18-24l pots but its just fine for the for grow with my 11l pots.

Stretching is slowing down now. I defoliated reasonably hard 2 weeks ago , now I know I should have gone harder but this is my first time growing this strain. I've got one pheno that's looking like it will be done in the next week or two . I have one pheno that has very few stigma which is something I've only ever seen before on super lemon haze crossed with mimosa evo . You can see them in the video. Keep growing 💚

Getting less and less boring Started growth this week They dont look 100% healthy For like 4 days i didnt notice and watered with high PH Fixed that Next week gonna transfer all 3 to a bigger pot Also germinated 1 black oreo seed We’ll what happens with it

we continue the run with the slowing down of the stretch and the beginning of the beautiful flowers. This week my EC indicated me some things... It was at 1.8 and went up to 1.9, so I added water to lower the ec to 1.6. When my ec goes back up it tells me that I have enough nutrients in my solution. Now, the ph is back to 1.7, I will add more water to bring it down to 1.5. We can observe on some leaf tips a beginning of over-fattening, this is what I'm talking about above, I'll let you know next week if I lower the ec or if I keep 1.5. I did one last defoliation and it was needed! If you look at my vitals, it's not crazy, 70% humidity at this time of the year can become problematic, so I'm going to take the dehumidifier out and set myself at 55%.

Update week 2 of Bloom

I was happy when i've seen the weight, i expected 70 or 80 grams and it's the double. I'm not sure if i will grow this strain again soon, there is plenty of strain waiting to grow.

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

This is one happy plant, she takes any of the training I give her, she’s eating twice a week now, around a gallon a day, just eating to be a real beauty, so so excited to see her at harvest.

I will cut down my plants this week looks like the Moby Dick is ready and one of the blue amnesia is almost ready the other two most definitely needs more time but the blue amnesia is losing too many leaves because I'm having trouble flushing completely the soil for nutrients for this one and the other one (Moby Dick)was severely shocked in the beginning so until it runs completely yellow and affect the yield I decided to cut them down I just want to use my tent to dry because of smells and discretion.

What can I say about this lady? Well let's see. She's sticky as hell. She's a 🔝 trichomes machine. Beautiful hard dense nuggets. Very spicy and piney aroma, very very strong, stinks my whole balcony. What a great a beautiful Gorilla strain man. Definitely will grow her many more times. Top Gorilla strain. 🦍👽💎 ❄️ Peace everybody! 💚 🌱 ✌️
