Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Esta semana más de lo mismo aunque aún no ha terminado...jeje, le tuve que quitar el poso de café xq se le puso una pelusilla un tanto sospechosa(y mejor prevenir que curar ☝️)voy a hacerle un té de hummus, al volver el último fin de semana la he visto con los colores ligeramente más claros en algunas hojas(no sé si falta de nitrógeno o si es un problema de Ph)🤔, estoy planteandome poner mas luz y poner ventilación,🧐 al final de esta semana además quizá empiece a oler a ortiga en la habitación (ojalá 🎃☝️🕺) 🙌👌Quiero que crezca como la levadura!!!!🌵😋

Last week on nutrients , going on flush next sun , the 8 ball kush seems to be the happier strain with the 5 part salt nutrients , the blue OG is doing ok but the 8 ball is the chunkiest

She is starting to come together finally. Ive never seen a plant like this one. But, I love an underdog. She is getting some nice trichome production already, which is always good. Taking a full dose of nutes and loving it. So far so good. I am loving 420 Fast buds!!!

The drying process lasted 14 days and I'm in the 2nd week of curing, I've already tried some buds and neither the smell nor the taste are great, the taste and smell of both phenotypes is lemon.

Se realizó un corte apical al segundo nudo, eliminando el primero...se estancó el crecimiento por 5 dias aproximadamente, ya volvieron a su ritmo normal de crecimiento

Day 77. Maybe a bit early, but no space and one Smoothie went for a date with bud rot ;))) didn't want to loose that nice top. Very frosty, nice gassy smell surrounded by fruits. Day 82. Second girl is down. Both small as you see, but with few branches will produce seed packaging cover type plant. Maybe second got some purple fade ... First was very nice by structure. Day 85. First went to jar. How lovely it sparkles and smells !!! Solid strain, even being so small by structure. Day 89. Second is in jars too ! Happy Growing !!!

10/13/2018 #1 still looking good, no fade. Start of week 9 of flower hope buds put on some weight this week should be 1 week maybe 2? Gonna be cold mid- week 38° on two nights. I know they can handle lower 40's without any problems but we will see in next weeks update,a cold tolerant sativa leaning girl is welcome hereCanfy #4 sweet fruit,and smelly shoes

Week 10 - Here we go … we’re at Day 64 or the very first day of week 10 from seed. It’s been a nice journey so far with no big issues except for a slight deficiency in the first week of flowering, which I duly adjusted by starting off Plagron’s green sensation or HULK juice as I like to call it. Now we’re heading onto the finishing line with dense buds boasting an array of colours and covered in trichomes. I’m keeping the trichomes under check and currently they are 90% cloudy and 10% clear. Day 68 - woooooooh …. Nearly there Day 70 - Winter is coming Girls are ready for harvest and this time round I want to experiment a little. Starting today I increased the dark period to 10 hours and intend to give them 48 hours complete darkness before harvest somewhere around Day 77. The aim ? I read that simulating winter helps the plants increase their trichomes production for the last push before they die. I also decreased the temperatures and humidity levels. Will keep ya all updated 👍

She came out to be a pretty noce plant, very small with little stretch tho and very bushy so I'm definitely gonna run her again and see what the other phenos might look like.. I'm feeding them everyday now the cherry gusher and runtz are doing alot better than the og so I will definitely run these again, but I will be using a little smaller pots i suppose... I want to fit more plants in there to use up the space better and a bit faster since I'm going to be pheno hunting and taking clones in future to get the best out of here strains i have around 9 seeds of cherry gusher left i got the big pack as I knew i wanted this one for the beautiful looks and taste and effect i was told it has.. Happy growing!

Due to the proximity of winter, humidity and temperature dropped, which will facilitate the flowering period. The plant is starting to give off a little smell and is also needing more water. However, I am concerned with development, we think the buds aren't getting fat enough. Maybe we expected the flowers to be bigger at this point. As this is my first grow, I do not have a reference of how the plant should be. Overall we're optimistic, and we'll expect in the coming weeks that she will gain weight.

Third week of flowering. I added a second screen to be able to separate the tops. The screen has 8x9 squares, adding up to 72 and each square has a flower. I think I will have a good harvest. See you next week

* Week 8 ( Week 3 flower ) - 12/3 - 14.5 Inches* She has about 2 weeks left so I weaned her off the flower nutes and began flushing with Lotus Carbofulsh. Harvesting next week ( 12/9 or 12/10) switched to 12/12.

Everything looking fine so far. I gave them a little amount liquid grow enzymes with distilled water on 19.04. what seemed to boost the growth. If You have any tipps or recommendations feel free to let me know.
