The Cali connection's PURPLE CRACK Week 5 of Veg This Plant is an absolute pleasure to grow , Very lush short internodal spacing with those big ass indica style leaves Simply beautiful 😍 I am trying to keep her as compact as possible because of the 110cm height limit in the tent. I have a fan blasting her most of the time in an attempt to replicate strong winds which hopefully will help strengthen the stems . I'll be giving her one more week of veg and then I'll flip the lighting schedule from 16/8 to 12/12 I will also be using Advanced nutes PH perfect from now on as Im out of the Professors nutrients A+B Thats about it for now 👊

Week 8 of our Lego Ninja Tropical Tangie Run has been an incredible rollercoaster of growth and excitement. Our Tangie is evolving into a true botanical ninja superstar! This girl about tripled in size if not more, One of them is kinda wonky, leaves are all weird growing half leaves here and there an the top of all branches are basically twisting them selfs in weird ways, But all others are doing fantastic. Going to keep the weird one jus to see how an unstable seed will grow, Some people say it’s worthless others say sometimes they grow fire bud. We shall see

Every week I watch my girls grow into beautiful budding trees only difference is now she in flowering I take her outside to absorb some of the beautiful sunshine and she's loving every bit of it. I let her stay outside for 8 hours in nature then back inside for another 8 hours of led full spectrum and turn out my lights for another 8 hr she's an Auto so she loving every minute of this ...... this is the results ⬆️

The grow was going great till the air stone stopped. I got root rot in process and it hurt final size. Super stick, and strong smell or a earthy fruity scent. I had the polyploidy mutation in this plant. I started a clone and have a diary for it on here. I used a Spider Farmer SE5000 light, and New Level Hydro bucket. I also used hygrozyme. The flowers are swelling up great with sweet smells coming off them. Trichs are starting to turn cloudy so I'll keep an eye and check them out later in the week. All in all very Happy Growing

AUGUST 10 to 16, 2024 Specimen continues to grow vigorously, gaining another 12cm (4.75") in height. Pistils now being pushed out in many locations. Plant receives 14:26 of daylight as sunrise is 06:49 and sunset is 21:15. Fungus gnat presence has multiplied, so effort put to dry out medium and layers of Diatomaceous Earth applied on two occasions. Watered in with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via Mosquito Dunks soaked in rainwater for 24 hours) in effort to combat and destroy larvae. Based on development to date, not expecting to harvest specimen until the week of October 14, 2024. Day 106 - Applied 2.0L of Full Spectrum Soil Drench (Flowering Formula), pH'd to 6.7; Solution prepared with rainwater treated with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis; 500mL bottom watered with plain rainwater. Sprayed soil surface thoroughly with approximately 1L of Soil Pest Defense Drench. Day 107 - Applied layer of Diatomaceous Earth to combat Fungus Gnats Day 108 - n/a Day 109 - n/a Day 110 - 1.5L bottom water with plain rainwater in the morning, another 1L bottom water in the late afternoon. Day 111 - Applied layer of Diatomaceous Earth to combat Fungus Gnats Day 112 - n/a

Medium: Yep - still gonna beat on the DWC drum. It just gets better and easier every run. Almost religiously changed out the res. every week and this was definitely overkill. Could’ve easily gotten away with every 10 days to 2 weeks. Stuck with peroxide this run again instead of going with bennies via hydroguard or hygrozyme. The results speak for themselves on a 6 week veg. That’s for sure. Still save’n them dolla bills on the nutes too. Minimal nute mixing (as well as simplistic regime) and for what we’re using in each res. - gotta be easily a 50-60% savings on nute consumption vs. more traditional methods. Honestly makes one wonder why organic soil grows are seemingly all the rage. I’ve found terp. Profiles, structure, plant health and of course yields to all be just that much better in straight water. What more can I say, we love our DWC. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️ The dueling methods were the whole point of this grow. Our best attempt to illustrate the differences between LST vs. LST/Topping ie. just how significant is the difference in terms of overall production? The truth of this test is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand, topping does have a significant effect on overall yield. This fact is regardless of whether or not from seed or clone.That said and when it comes to clones, you still have to be mindful of the drawbacks of further dividing (and thus reducing nug size for) main branches. Our topped clone #2 is a perfect example of this. While the structure demonstrates significantly more branching, the nug sizes are also significantly smaller. As you’ll see in the yield details it does somewhat make up for this through a higher overall weight but it was also a much less manageable plant than #1. Root mass on the topped plant was heavier and bulkier, drinking much more water than its counterpart. And in late flower half the plant was pretty much falling over. While some of this is attributable to the extremely hollow stems (and thus a carbon deficiency), making the most of the grow light proved difficult with the topped plant as bushy as it was. Basic summary - if ur cloning for profit or efficiency, stick with straight LST and grow a whole bunch of em. If I had to do it again I don’t think i would’ve bothered with topping - just for the sake of greater ease🤔🤔🤔. Then again, I’m greedy as fuck when it comes to my yields so I Could totally see myself trying to max everything out and go for broke🤙🤙. 3/5 volume bars for the rating - we accomplished what we were trying to. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Awwwwwe yeah - down to where it counts and these girls were champs💪. While internodal spacing was longer than necessary and overall bud size was smaller than average; these plants pushed out some solid weight👍😎👍. Ran er through a 7 day dry and all jarred up on a slow cure. Final numbers: Total yield - clone #1: 5.14oz = 143.92g Total yield - clone #2: 6.01oz = 168.28g Approx. est. yield: 600g/m2 divides by 4.8, multiplied by 2 (approx. for 2/3 the cabinets sq/ft) = 250g per 0.41m2 Actual yield: 11.15oz. per 0.41m2 = 312.2g per 0.41m2. That is some seriously good production right there😎👍😎. The high end avg. for this strain is 650g/m2. When you crush that out to my space and the numbers above, it works to about 270g per 0.41m2. Our actual yield still destroys the high end avg. by almost a zip and a half👍👍👍. The cree cob does it again. Fuck’n jazz hands y’all🙌! With results like these you could really give the whole grow a 9/10. It’s only an 8 in my book because it’s not my preferred high. Otherwise, any time you’re north of 5+ oz. per plant, it’s a good day at the office👍👍. Props👊👊👊 No choice but to shoutout Humboldt genetics. These beans have treated me so well and I can’t say enough Good things about the strains this organization puts out👌👍👌. Other than that, thanks to everyone who dropped by for a look and a comment. The week started with spider mites. I saw them on the frosted guava and decided to take all of my plants outside to separate them a little even if the temperatures dropped under 10 degrees Celsius. Also I found a cockchafer in the room which had obviously time to spread his eggs. After I did this, the amount of spider mites reduced. I ordered some predatory mites and nematodes which I will use as soon as the will arrive. 11.06 I watered the plants with 150+150+150 ml pure water. It’s the last bottled water. From here the plants will get only tap water. 14.06 released the nematodes with around 1-1,2L for each plant. 15.06 released the predatory mites on a wet kitchen paper towel 16.06 LST Frosted Guava
