Room is still yellowing quite a bit prematurely. I’m going to feed once more and adjust ph back to 6-7. I’m starting to cut my RO water with filtered tap water at 1:5 ratio, to stabilize the ph a little more and to see if the tap water can help with deficiencies I’ve been seeing. I have heard that it’s not good to add calmag in mid flower and I really don’t want to mess with heavy metals that could affect the way the plant smokes. The powdery mildew has come back. It is only affecting the cheese, slurricane and black garlic #2. All three of these plants are in the same corner so it must be something I’m doing environmentally. That’s the coldest part of the tent so maybe the added fans are letting it get too cold. The small fan I added is probably unnecessary and I might move it to my veg tent. If the powdery mildew keeps getting worse, I’m just going to let it ride out and then wash the final product. I should have trained and topped these in veg a lot better but I got lazy and didn’t want to.

As we enter week three, the stem is hardening on the fantasmo as she likes to flop over. No signs of any weird stress other than that plant flopping over, but the Mephisto's wedding is doing its own squat little thing.

Been a lil busy. Haven't been on here or in the garden as much as i need to. The girls are growing all natural. I have literally taken no leaves off their entire lives. Some of the old fan leaves die during light drybacks. Inuse deybacks for stacking nutes and some light drought stress which can increase oil production. They just have a small cage at two levels. I have cut nutrients to most of them, going for quality smoke as its already more than I can consume lol. Two look like they are still bulking. Some are getting close. Everyone is still getting bokashi/ffj for the terps and ethylene found in the ripe fruits. It helps with senescence.. I turned the lights and temps down to help crop steer ‘em. We are getting close! They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. 🌗Switching to flowering this week, I reduced the length of the day by 1 hour each day until reaching 12 hours night time / 12 hours daylight on the 32rd day!🌞 🌺On the 32rd day I apply a layer of organic nutrients mixed with a little soil that I add to the top of each pot. I added 35 grams of BioBloom to each of my pots🌺 I'm doing some light defoliation again this week Happy, the growth went very well. Simply by lifting them; A light pot is a dry pot and will need more water, A heavy pot is a wet pot and will need less water. We did really well this round with this strain even though she grew very different from what Im used too. We ended up with a half pound of some excellent smelling and tasting cannabis!

Safe to say we're heading into flower. I'm pretty close to full strength on the nutrients at this point. Still defoliating and filling in the screen. Plant on the right is slightly behind as far as kicking into flower. Some yellowing browning just starting a tips. I'll change out the water tomorrow (on day 49). Averaging water changes every 12 days. Day 49: Did not change water today, will on day 52 or 53 instead. Decided it could just be the light being too close. Moved it up and did a little lst above the screen. All done removing branches and leaves. Great end to the first week of flower.

This week i found what i thought was mold. After askin around they are now sayin mealybugs. I took the plant out of tent and will now be kept indoors to flip for now. I chopped off most of her bottom that had white and sprayed neem oil last nite. Today i bought take down garden spray. Also i gotta check other plants well

Another beautiful ak420, very nice smell like flowers, super sweet aromas, and the nuggets are very solid and dense, very nice plant, it's been a nice journey, I'm only feeding with water from seed too weed in each of my plants thanks to the amazing Florians living organics (living soil blend) stay tuned to see how this lady finishes up! Week 4 in the books. She started throwing pistils this week. Cruising along and handling the training like a champ. She's drinking about a cup of water daily and her roots are thriving in the runoff caught in the 2nd cup, which gets dumped before each new watering. Strong structure and starting to get a little smell. She smelled like celery leaves up to this point. I've raised her closer to the light to increase light intensity.
