I put my seed into a small cup of tap water, I cover the top only so far so it can still get air.
Then il place the cup in a cupboard and close the door for 12 hours.
While my seed is germinating overnight I prepare a small 12x10cm vegging pot with a 70/30 fresh coco buffered mix, then drenched in greenhouse feeding bio Enhance at a rate of 0.5g to 1 litre of water. With the PH tested beforehand then lowered to around 4.5 as the Bio Enhance granules will bring the PH up to 5-5.5.
I put the pot in the veg tent without its seed to warm up the medium and activate the bio Enhance nutrient.
After EXACTLY 12 hours I bury the seed around 4cm deep and then I wait....
I was having lighting issues here so she looks a little sad. So I gave her 2g of Green House Bio Grow sprinkled into the coco before I repotted her early into a 3gal fabric pot.
Kings Juice really picked up this week
Under a new 80w strip light that I got cheap from eBay and it's surprisingly impressive AF!
I'm very pleased with this buy and I think I'm gona get a few more to replace my little burple one I have going in here.
I've also been feeding 0.5ml silicon once a week and I feel like it's really helped.
As you can see my Kings Juice is growing so fast and vigorously I'm being kept on my toes here with this one! She's getting so big especially her fan leaves and it's great!
I have a few other seedlings also having growth spurts so I really had to think about how I can make this work!
So I came to the conclusion that I will flower her earlier than recommended but I really feel like she's ready.
Started with the booster today because this lady is on fire and according to the nutrient schedule she can start the booster at week 3 so I'm following instructions but it's a bit scary!!
This lady has stretched really well both in height & width.
The bottom branches have grown so wide the structure is really beautiful.
Some purple is coming through on the veins of the leaves and the main stem, looks like a child has been at it with a felt tip pen! Lol!
Just wish I had a bigger space to house the width of the bottom branches.
Other than that she's fab & smelling like sweet tangerine. Yum
I'm really enjoying this one, she's fun to grow and smells of juicy satsumas!
She's looking fatter each day swelling up lovely in all the right places!
The buds on the lower branches have turned amber a lot sooner than expected, the upper half isn't really amber at all just yet.
I'm not sure if this could be due to nutrient burn though as I messed up my feeding schedule a few weeks ago & is just starting to recover.
I have defoliated her because most of her laves had gone brown & chrispy so she's been on a water only diet for a little bit & it's working a treat
Smells like tangerine, satsuma, orange. And resin production is fully engaged.
I hope I get a pheno without so much mimosa because I'm not a great fan but she smells unlike anything I've ever grown before.
I messed up at about week 4/5 and gave too much calcium when she didn't need it, but she's survived and looks and smells spot on so I can't complain
I should have let mine stretch more in veg as mine had quite wide branches at the bottom and it was hard to place her without it her getting caught on something and the popcorn buds were too close to the coco and sometimes got wet so it could have caused a bit of bud rot if I wasn't careful. But this was all my doing. She grew strong and fast and vigorously and seemed unstoppable in flower.
I used dragon force too soon so she finished quicker than she should have, again this is my problem not hers!
She still produced strong beautiful buds, yeah a little on the small side but I can improve on this in the next round.
My kings juice has been leaning towards OG Kush and is sweet and creamy on the nose, the Smoke is smooth and flavoursome and makes you "mmmm" on the exhale making your mouth drool a little savouring the goodness on your tongue.
Hard to put down but also find myself needing to put it down for a little rest and sip of some tea.
I've had full nights sleep and my appetite has been alive.
This grow has made me proud to be a home grower supporting myself.
Results like this make me want to go harder next time!
That is one nice lookin plant!! And frosty nugs too. Very nice. Im waiting on some of these seeds and some Velvet moon seeds too, I was emailing the guys at green house seeds about some forum things and got talking and next thing I know I have seeds on the way. Lols, but after talking to them yeah let this one veg a bit longer- try 6 weeks next time and then switch to flower. Good luck on the next one and hope mine turn out this nice after 6 months outside.
