* ***************** Week 3 of Growth From Seed, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********************** * Started the head scratching more this week and wondering what is going on with the slower growth she has experienced the last 4 days or so. She is looking good and not dark....environment is good.....what the heck is the pH so high when been given feed well inline and below 6.0......why runoff numbers in low 7's so early in the run?? A number of heavy feedings this week so that I can read the runoff numbers for her. Going to keep staying the course with feeding but lower the pH because she is still progressing and its still pretty early in the run........not much veg time for an auto though so I need to get this figured out pretty soon. Gave her some Epsom salts this week as well as I have been battling Magnesium deficiency the last run or two. Always just used CalMag but I don't think the girls always want as much Calcium as they are given this way though. Fed at a rate of 1tsp/gal in a two litre feed early on in the week. Little more Detail........... Apr 25/20, Day 15 - 500ml feed - VitaThrive and Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 6.0pH - small feed of base nute to try and perk her up. - noticed the lower leaves are droopy while the upper leaves are perky still. - Still working on dialing the light for these girls as they are happier at 30" away from canopy. Apr 26/20 - Day 16 - 500ml feed - AN Sensi Cal @ 1.5ml, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1tsp/gal - 700ppm and 6.0pH - The Epsom Salt alone shot the ppm to 500 - Only have the veg switch on for the UnitFarm light. - feeling some of the other girls are showing some magnesium deficiency with the yellowing perimeter of the leaves. Apr 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - Cut slits in the bottom of the bag today to let more water out, more quickly when feeding. - Wondering if the root zone is staying too wet and therefore causing some stunted growth. - She has been falling a sleep too early in the day so either too much light or getting root bound? Apr 28/20 - Day 18 - needing some runoff numbers to see what the hell is going on - fed 3L - Piranha @ 1ml, VooDoo @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - going in was 575ppm and 5.3pH - runoff numbers were 1450ppm and 6.9pH - WTF......bring it down......next feed at only 500ppm and 5.0pH to lower her?? - leaf colour is perfect. Stems are a little immature yet, but side branching is coming out stronger. Apr 29/20 - Day 19 - 8L feed - Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 325ppm and 5.0pH - runoff after the watering was 500ppm and 7.0pH - WTF.....expected it to be more in the 6.5pH range and not that high still? - KK looked worse off, still droopy, after this than the other girls did. Lack of oxygen in root zone with so much water? Its coco though shouldn't be for too long. Apr 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - KK likes it a little dryer in her medium.....she perked up more today and looking a lot better. - She has had more vertical growth the last day and she is spacing out some of her nodes. - Her stem is thicker and she is getting stronger. - Still a week behind though in my opinion and they should have been this size a week ago. Apr 31/20 - Day 21 - dry out day - she has done very well the last two days and going to keep riding that wave, didn't water today. - She has certainly gotten taller and wider.......getting her back on track? That will wrap up this puzzling week........pH is not staying low after being brought down......shoots back up over 7 in only 24 hours idea. Working on it Growmies. I didn't get to this until midweek. Humidity was higher than I like and soil moisture was low. Rotated this plant 90 degrees clockwise to ensure even light. Added 36 oz of water on top of what the drippers are delivering. Drippers were also moved 90 degrees to ensure even soil moisture. Humidity was lowered to 45%. Starting flush this week. Began with pH'ed water only in the dripper. Will be adding water only with no nutrients for the rest of the week. Pistils are about 50% brown and the trichomes are getting cloudy. Buds are looking good. This plant still has about a week until harvest. By the end of the week the buds are filled out. The pistils have mostly turned brown. The trichomes are clear, milky, AND amber... in the same view. Many shots are both clear and amber. I want a more active high so this plant is coming down next week. I think it is ready. It is very confusing seeing so many clear and amber trichomes on the same bud.

Day 74 and there getting chopped today! I thought the harvest was going to be broken into two separate weeks considering the times on the Choco was listed about 7-10 days sooner then the DD (wich was listed at 70 days for flowering) However looking at the tricombs on the Chocolate Marshmallow most pheno didnt start getting amber untill the DDs did as well! A couple DD pheno could have maybe gone a couple more days but we will see! Going for reveg on all the pheno, since i didnt get to take any clones. We will see how it goes!

I gave the Blue Cheese a trim on 5th december and gave her four days of darkness, the chop was performed on december 9th I took a lot of photographs and videos commemorating these events for you to enjoy :) I think she came out quite decent especially considering that she had some monster/deformed leaves till the 4th week of veg. also looking back I should have moved her to the bigger place in that time...she would be far more symmetrical ;) It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. A big thanks to the Mars Hydro team for this opportunity, you truly provide first class grow kits and lamps. That's all i have for you till the drying & curing process is over I will update then. Flush time

D65: Tried taking some pictures with the macro lens. I'd say the majority of the trichromes are cloudy with some still clear and the occasional amber ones. Will keep track of the evolution. D70: Buds keep getting bigger, the main cola is starting to look like one big, consolidated bud. Trichromes remain mainly cloudy, with some still transparent and some amber ones. Also gave her a flush (10l), since I think she'll be ready for harvest in at most 2 weeks. Next watering, I might add molasses a last time. Smell is strong and really sweet, reminds me of vanilla a little.

On flower day 60, it was finally time. Three days before the final cut, I did a last light watering with plain water. The last 36 hours, the lights stayed on. In the end, I had around 20–30% amber trichomes. I'm super happy with the result. Trim jail was exhausting but totally worth it. The harvest is now right in the middle of curing. As for the smell: a sharp, earthy, leathery diesel mix with hints of lemon. The fuel note is, to my delight, much stronger than expected. Incredibly sticky buds. Sparkling flowers. Last week of veg for this round, next Monday they will start 12/12 in the flower room and get stripped. Watering daily and they are growing fast and looking great, can't wait to see how flower goes for these ladies.

First day under led lights after receiving the fresh cuttings. All of them are healthy but unfortunately is the night temperature at the moment a bit to low. All lights are dimmed; the sunlight leds on the lowest setting and the Cree cobs around 20%. Output watts for all leds is at the moment 280W. PAR readings coming up in the next days 💡 Now the PAR readings: 3x3 measurements at plant tip. Front row to the back. Measurements in mmol/m2s with the quantumsensor from apogee. 400,570,400,550,620,610,410,470,410. Around 500 in average.

ZTRAWBERRIEZ and Gorilla Punch don't need much longer. In this week the pistols all were coloured in orange. The buds did their bulk perfectly. We got temps +30 degrees so in the greenhouse there Are +40 degrees. The following week should get cold and rainy. ZKITTELZ needs a little more time but also is doing good.

Got everything hung up. Stripped the fan leaves and broke down into sections. Run 60/60 or as close as i can get until the stems snap.

She is a beast and is loving life. Lst her and popped back after an hour. Topping her tonight as she’s going to handle it with her big root system now. Gave her some charge top feed to get her through the next few weeks of heavy training. Topped her the day after lst. Was a bit nervous as it was my first time topping. Went well and looking forward to the next week of growth.

So guys today is day 49 entering week 8, so 1 more week on the bio bizz heaven, top max and bloom. The weather in the UK is mad at the minute 28°c my grow room is the same with lights off and causing my a lot of humidity, thank god for the dehumidifier but I'm emptying it twice a day now. Buds are getting fatter and the fade is coming on. Just got to go in there and check on them, temp has dropped now even tho light is on. Humidity is sitting at 50%. I have started the ripener 5ml to a litre I will be running this for the next 7-10 days and then rinsing with there rinse aid for 4 days so aiming for harvest on the 24th-25th latest 😀.
