Again I’ll start by saying.... I DID NOT use bud ignitor and bud blood in the same solution! I’m using bud blood on the rear and bud ignitor on the front ones! I’m so proud of my girls can’t wait until next week with some close ups of them forming buds! I’m so happy to be where I’m at with these girls all I’ve we heard is amazing things about this strain so to be so ahead with them makes me super proud!

Week 25 - Frosty buds! Finally some time this weekend to defoliate! And look what I found: lots of frosty buds. The smell is delicious. Sweet lavender aromas, very warm. I like it a lot. Is this what she will taste like, too? Harvest is close.

Día 10 se riega con una solución nutritiva NPK de 700 ml con Plagron Power Roots (0.2 ml), Plagron Pure Zym (0.4 ml) y Plagron Alga Grow (0.5 ml). Día 11, denota un crecimiento sostenido y saludable, exuberante con aparición de hojas nuevas rápidamente, se acerca el comienzo del entrenamiento LST para preparar el camino al SCROG 👨‍🌾🏻 Día 13 se realiza el primer entrenamiento, LST primero se fija la base del tallo, a continuación se dobla en 90° el ápice suavemente, transcurridas 4 horas la planta ya se relaja hacia esa posición y se ajusta el LST para hacerlo mas profundo y dar un ángulo desde mas abajo, logrando mejor sujeción y mayor penetración de luz a los nudos inferiores. Luego de eso se riega con una solución nutritiva NPK, de 700 ml, 0.2 Plagron Power Roots, 0.4 Plagron Pure Zym y 0.5 Plagron Alga Grow. Day 50: Feeding today with a huge shot of Ignite to finish this bloom.....Gonna start going into Overdrive more for about a week before getting ready for flush. My Hellfire OG is beautiful! The buds are so thick and the leaves are sharp. Love the way it looks and have not done much defoliation as the green cracks. With this final ignite feeding, hoping to get my bud locations on the GC. It's a tall plant and the three I have are all about the same with one a bit slow. More to come but hoping to wrap this grow up in the next months and get the Halloween Grow. A bit spooky!!! So it's about 3ish and I'm just staring @ my video feed of my babies! Getting some really huge nuggets sized buds and when I defoliate my hands are a bit sticky afterwards. Cutting some of the lower branches they ozze the carboload and I smile like Pedro'!! Day 51: was suppose to feed but kind of forgot so gonna maybe throw some voodo tab in some water and just let them drink and get some extra fat root development these last 3 weeks. On another note getting my ducks in a row for my next grow. Got a huge bag of Pro-mix HP on my doorstep this morning and my girl was like get your "shit" honey.....so holiday grow diary coming soon with all new strains!!! Day 52: Did a feed last night a few hours b4 lights out. Went with Ignite & O.D. Some of my plants are a ahead of others so figured both O.D. & Ignite. Developing crystals on the leave and making sure to cut the lower branches that are not going anywhere. Threw a picture of my cure set up along with some dealer weed. That is only a 10gram bag so trust me when I say, "this is a game changer!" Day 53: Early morning feeding and laying off the cal mag and senszym and just going with Iguana bloom, carbloader, ignite and OD along with Mikes OG, Bud Factor X. Noticing some of my plants are ahead of others so have been feeding a gallon per plant with adjusted nutrients to kind of match what my girls are doing. My Hellfires are so pretty and the leaf growth is pretty snarky. Just pointed leaves under the bud sight and the fans leave not really big so just trimming as we go. My Green Cracks are budding really nicely. The buds sights are kind of spread out but the buds are getting thicker and growing and filling the spaces. Maybe another 2 weeks before I start to flush and get ready for harvest.

Day 9 I had no choice but to defoliate, the canopy was getting way to dense and humidity was hard to control even with my 30 pin dehumidifier. Hopefully will not affect to much. Probably I will do another defoliation on day 21. TDS stays at 550PPM this week and CO2 at 1200PPM.

The harvest of my dear Stella was supposed to happen on August 4th, but didn’t begin actually until August 9th. I decided to allow her to dry out a bit before beginning the harvest, but I had some other difficulties which made her dry out a whole lot before I ever even got started. You can tell how dry by looking at the pics and video. Luckily, the dryness was limited to her larger leaves. She was already quite dry on the 9th when I started, and was more so by the 12th when I finished. Even after the advanced drying, her wet trimmed weight was still quite a bit. I’ll list the weights all together in a bit. It took 4 days to get the whole plant trimmed, weighed, and hung up for final drying. She was hung up from August 12th till Friday, August 19th. I got busy harvesting another plant while she was hanging up, and just let her be. On August 19th I took all of her branches down and removed the buds to get the true harvest weight of her buds alone. Let’s get to the weight of the whole thing. The overall wet-trimmed weight of the plant was 18.329 ounces with the buds and branches combined. I was a forgetful idiot and forgot to get the weight of the dry buds on the branches before removing the buds. So all we’re left with is the actual harvest weight of the dry buds alone. The overall dry bud weight, or actual “true” harvest weight of the smokable bud is: 7.317 ounces. That’s a wonderful amount of freshly harvested bud to cure. All of the buds were put into 8 quart sized jars filled roughly 3/4 full, and 1 pint sized jar, also 3/4 full. Each jar has a hygrometer as well as 58% bóveda packs to help aid the curing process. This is the 2nd DarkStar plant I’ve harvested, and both were very large plants. I used a scrog method the first time with a net that spread the whole plant out taking up the entire 4x4 area of the tent. This time I wanted to let her grow more naturally. She got so large that I had to bend almost all of her taller branches over using HST methods. I had to bend 3-5 branches over more than once. By doing that, once her buds began to fatten up she got too heavy and needed to be supported just to stand upright. Toward the end she had to literally be tied up to the side of the tent. Stella (DarkStar) was a wonder to grow, and she gave me a good amount of clones that will soon be harvested themselves. It has been a journey with Stella, and I’m happy that the journey is now complete. Happy growing everyone!

Well pretty good week I would say, the only issue is we dint really see the total amount of our stuff but it was still great.

May 31st update Clone 1: 9 inches tall. Distinct sativa leaves. Already has 7 pointers and looks like it’s trying to push 9s. Close node spacing Clone 2: 11 inches tall. This one has been growing with the most vigor. Largest node spacing out of all of them. Sturdy stalk. Really happy with this one so far. Clone 3: 5 inches tall. This one has been growing the slowest and least vigor. Doesn’t mean much at this point but going to keep an eye on it Clone 4: 10 inches tall. Close node spacing. Widest out of all the plants. Have a feeling this one will be bushier and squatter All 4 clones: Added red wigglers to both grow boxes, this will help with aeration and compaction. Also transplanted all 4 clones out of their small fabric pots into grow boxes. Top watered boxes but from here on out will only be doing bottom watering. Just wanted to make sure soil was moist as I have been neglecting watering the boxes Parents: I haven’t done anything with the 4 parents this week except water. They are bouncing back from their last topping. I will likely top again in a week or two once they start to take off again Looking forward to this small Pheno hunt. Week 3 of flowering 10/2/24 Put on another net for support. Defoliated and lollipoped front plants. Watering 4 times a day (with little runoff at the first watering) one hand watering with full saturation of the media with 10% runoff at the end of the week. Checking runoff EC once in 3 days. Hopefully plants reached maximum stretch (lights now at max height and 80% power). changed nutrients schedule to mid bloom (base chart from CocoForCannabis, with small changes to the nutrient line I have). Adding 2.5ml/gal of H2O2 (35%) to the reservoir to keep bacteria away.
