Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Set up a second trellis net to help support the fatter tops that have gone far beyond the first trellis. Added a second 6 inch clip fan to help with air flow. One side of the tent had higher humidity but now with more air flow its solved the issue.

I accidently snapped the main stem at the base during the first week of flower essentially super cropping her. Electrical tape and lint roller tape on the inside was used to hold the main stem up straight. she healed very well and then took off into a monster. I would have liked to take her further but she could not support her own weight and used that as a sign she was ready. At that point I had already been using electrical tape to hold the the steams together for the previous 2 weeks. Would be interesting to see how this strain would grow in my bigger 20 and 30 gal fabric pots as I struggled to keep up with organic dry amendments, especially calcium and magnesium, almost every watering calmag and lime dust was used for the last month of the grow. Currently harvesting 2 other think different strains and have been preparing 3 smaller pots for either some RQS Titans or a competition strain if I receive something in the post in the next 2/3 weeks. I have been growing for 5 years now from Chronic Nerve pain and I did not get past the flowering stage in my first grow, necessity is the mother of all drivers and if you want good bud, don't stop trying.

FBT2402 is hanging in there. She has had a rough life so far. She is flowering though. I did a solution change on her yesterday, and just corrected the ph today. Day 65. Girls are okish, calmag mini def is still after me, now even Gorillas show off some reddish leaves stems, hope they just cant keep up with speed and amount... In flowering its bad to have unhealthy plants, so CalMag today and full bloom tommorrow eve. Girls started to drink really fast. Control garden is my joy now, Outside Cookie is a pity tho.... We shall see.... In plans to raise lights back to 60 cm from canopy, girls stretched a bit, need to adjust and i just cant wait couple more weeks till first round of defoliation :))) hope to do it on day 18 of flower latest.. Canopy is too packed, need better air and light. Thinking to get heavy artillery out, epsom salt dresing :)) thats my last hope to fight that reddish-violet and make it green again. It takes two weeks to kick inn, but works always for me... Day 66. Girls are happy, hungry and in full blast. Control garden has such healthy green its hard to describe... Cookies on other hand streched as f@%k, will have to lolitop them really high, so no proper grow and small harvest, taste is the only thing that can save them... Worthless for now.... All girls streched like 5 cm in one day, they loved CalMag. Lights been raised like 7 cm. Lets see... Day 68. Changed plans a bit, girls got silica acid with plain water and they loved it! They are happy campers and grow really fast, now only to have patience till defoliation. Girls are super packed, will have to care about them 2x more than avarage, thinking to plug in conditioner, but its still coldish weather outside, so hope to last two more weeks without that beast, no tv or orher aplaincies while this beast runs :)))) Day 68, evening. First time checked my girls after light switch to flower and i am lost, will they make it? Canopy height is like 30-35 cm, they had small lolitopings on lower levels during vegetation ( see week 8 first video just mute it, they where striped like this on week 5 as well) in video its even hard to see, but its jungles!!!! Have one fresh air fan, double fan set with carbon out, inside two standing fans and powerful conditioner, will i make it with only defoliation or should i clear them hard aswell? Never growed such low and dence plants before. Please advice or show diary to read. Plus a 30 days old Incredible Bulk, almost no feed, no germination or transplanting, straight to soil and no direct light above. Hope you will see this same strain grower :) Peace.

Wednesday Watered this morning both are doing well except for a heat/humidity stress visible on the edges of the leaves that are curling up . The shapes of the plants seems to be the final shapes so I guess that they will focus on the buds BUT I am starting to understand that the MarsHydro is promoting the stretch so they could continue to stretch a bit. I have made a video to show you my low stems cleaning so I hope you'll enjoy it 🙈🙉🙊 Thursday Same stems cleaning on the second grapefruit and a watering for both . The girls are drinking a lot and pretty often for a hand watering run.

Day 21 and the girls are really starting to take off.I did some LST on 3 of the 5 so far and will get the other 2 bent over in the next few days. Day 27 I watered with recharge tea and tied down some branches to get some more light into the center of the plants.I have increased the light intensity to 50 percent and slightly lowered the humidity this week.

Buds have developed really quick and the whole room smells like gas and candy

Everything is going AMAZING! I have started giving her some fox farm big bloom every other feeding. As you can see she's flowering now. The smell is very strong and sweet. Additionally, one set of nodes just split into 2 growth tips as if I had topped it. I've never seen anything like that before. So far I have nothing but good to say about SpliffSeeds!

~ FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla Autoflower Harvest Report ~ The Setup: • AC Infinity 4x4 tent •AC Infinity Cloudline T6 Exhaust Fan w/ Controller 67 •HLG 650R w/UVA Bar *** For some reason GD does NOT have a listing for the USA version of the 650R so I selected the closest match to it. •AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow 6 pot System •TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller for light •AutoPilot APC8200 co2 controller fed by a 50# tank •16" Hurricane oscillating fan and 8" floor fan •Tent cooling via filtered outside air delivered by AC Infinity Cloudline T6 fan •BlueLab instruments: PH Pen and Truncheon Nutrient Meter ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Here we go fam!...after 13 exciting weeks this run of three FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla Autoflowers has come to an end and, despite some hiccups along the way, all three of this phenomenal cultivar delivered the goods! This was my first attempt at 'hydroponic' growing and honestly I made some mistakes along the way. In hindsight, I ran too many feed cycles in a 24hr period which did not allow the medium and fabric pots dry out enough which led to a Fungus Gnat infestation which wasn't caught until late into flower. I also think I had the nutrient level set too high which may have kept the upper portion of the medium too wet. Other than those issues the only other hindrances were related to the actual ebb/flow system itself and beyond my immediate control such as plant spacing, solution temperature etc. I will say that when using this AirCube system I found out the hard way that you really need to have all of your plants starting at the same time, and preferably of the same strain unless you're using a trellis net to control the canopy height. Lastly, I will say that the GrowAce AirCube system was very well built, used quality materials, is expandable, and was very easy to setup and get running. Now to the plants... All three Strawberry Gorilla's were germinated together and sprouted within 24hrs of one another. I did very minimal training on them consisting of leaf tucking and gentle bending of branches, then some LST using horticulture wire starting in Week 1 of flower, which all three responded well to. All three pheno's began to flower right around Day 24 from seed and continued for another 10 weeks. I kept the tent temperatures during veg and early flower between 76-80℉ with the light on, and 70-72℉ with the light off and the RH at 60-70%. Once in flower, I gradually lowered the 'light on' temperature to 72-75℉ and 65℉ during the dark period. I also lowered the RH down to 35-40% during late flower. The entire run they were fed Plagron nutrients exclusively, using their Cocos 'A' and Cocos 'B' along with Green Sensation. Power Roots and Royal Rush. I had nothing but great results from this lineup from Plagron and highly recommend their entire product line! I ended up with three distinct phenotypes, two of which leaning more to the fruity/strawberry side. The third pheno was Glue all the way, with a pungent, chem-like aroma that will make your eyes water! The #1 and #2 phenotypes took on some beautiful coloration through late flower, expressing shades of purple, pinks and lavender. Both of them also had a very fruity/sweet aroma that grew extremely strong during late flower. The #3 phenotype struggled a little bit during the run and was affected the most by the Fungus Gnats (which I'm sure affected her yield) but incredibly ended up not only being the most aromatic of the bunch, but also the frostiest! The #3's flowers were a lime green with hints of pink and lavender on some, all were covered in large headed trichomes! Once the Strawberry Gorilla's reached Week 8 of flower I began regular checks of their trichomes and once they had reached a ratio of 90% milky/10% amber I placed all three plants in darkness for 72hrs in the 4x4, keeping the temperature at 64℉ and a RH of 35%. After three days in the dark I chopped and hung the plants whole in the 4x4 suspended by a wire I ran across the tent. I kept gentle air circulation going in the tent and maintained a temperature of 55-60℉ and monitored the RH, keeping it at 50% for the first 24hrs, then 60% for the remainder of the hanging time. The first plant was ready to trim in 9 days, with the other two 10 & 11 days respectively. All three were trimmed and their flowers placed in Mason jars with a hygrometer inside to begin the curing process. The beautiful 'sugar trim' was sifted on my 24"x24" four screen setup which I did outside on my porch on a calm day that was only 38-40℉. I got a tremendous return of 42g of some beautiful 90u sift that I can't wait to press into rosin! All in all, having cultivated this strain previously I can say that the results could have been a whole lot better, but... taking into consideration my level of expertise with hydroponic growing and the stresses that the Strawberry Gorilla's had to contend with, I'd say that it was a win and a testimony to how resilient and strong this strain from FastBuds is... It's no wonder that Strawberry Gorilla Auto is a trophy winner!🏆

So week 7 down and this is the longest they’ve stayed looking this healthy. Finally avoiding under / over feeding them once they’ve used up all the nutes in the soil around week 5/6. This last week just a top dress with a locally sourced 2/8/4 organic amendment. And not overwatering of course, I’m giving them 3/4L every 4/5 days when the pots are properly light. Seems to have done the trick so far. Pretty stress free. Only issue is SP2. Not sure if it’s just a weird plant or I messed it up somehow. (I’m going with plant error as the others are fine). Anyway it just didn’t stretch, at all. Basically no side branches and all it’s pistils are shrivelled up already, looks about a week away from harvest with these puny little buds. Weird little thing. Only keeping it going for shits & giggles as there’s still space for it in the grow. This next week more of the same. Have put swapped the 600w bulb in for the 400w bulb as I try and gradually increase the light. Still in plenty of weed from last grows. Still no money spent on wankstain kids selling me crappy weed. Bank balance transformed. Big smiles in this household. Thanks for reading, have a great week 😊

420Fastbuds FBT2313/ Week 7 These two beautiful girls are growing amazing. Starting to smell super strong and frosty. I noticed some fade so I upped the nitrogen for one feeding and it seemed help. Over all super exciting times in the weeks to come. Happy Growing
