Now that we got the humidity back to normal, I treated each plant to fresh nutrients. The pistils on Chonga are starting to turn brown, indicating it'll be time to harvest soon (despite my 20 Dec prediction). Cheecha's pistils are still long and bright, so we still may be on track for her harvest in December. I'm going to start flushing Chonga this week while maintaining nutrients for Cheecha. UPDATE: I finally caved and bought a Grow Tent! almost immediately the temp rose from 73 to 77 degrees. Humidity is stable at 34%. I'm going to wait until Chonga is harvested before introducing the humidifier again to dehydrate chonga a little prior to harvest.

Everyone is looking pretty healthy however the bud development looks closer to week 3/4 imo and I really don't like the node spacing on plant #1, I wish we had limited some of her stretch sooner. I don't see large intact colas in that plant's future, probably long bud spiraled branches but its not the end of the world lol...We gave a tomato cage to the freak mainline for some added stability (she's definitely going to need it). All buds are beginning to frost and look as if they'll be coated by the end!! These guys and gals at fastbuds have some great strains and so far my favourite has been this strain .. second time growing her and she is bigger then my first with lots of purple stinky buds ...the over whelming smell you get is this plant the purple buds smell the strongest right now . .cheers

Growth has been explosive with the strain. Tops coming from everywhere after one topping. I plan on taking a cutting from this particular strain I have a great feeling about this one.

10/21- Flower has begun!! I've been gradually removing growth from under the canopy that I dont anticipate will become sizeable buds. Now we wait for the stretch. Took a few clones to try my hand at that. Air is drying out big time lately. I'm probably going to have to give in and buy a humidifier because it's going to be essential to keep my buds from drying out too fast and keeping these plants in healthy rh range. Despite humidity swings, plants seem to be doing well across the board so I already have a leg up on my last grow. I sprayed for bugs as a precaution. Neem and peppermint Castille soap diluted in water was the choice. Left a residue on my plants though so live been keeping my light between 30-40% and gradually turning up the intensity each day until I reach where I was(70) I dont want to burn my leaves because I have treating for bugs before. I will add pictures this weekend. This is posted on Day one so there's really not too much change to show in the plants. Really excited to see how they develop over the next 2 weeks. 10/24 Added pics of two plants. I accidently deleted my shoot of GZ 2 and I don't feel like taking them out of the tent again because it's a bit of a pain with the net. It's much taller than it's sister and maybe the healthier plant at this point. Moby dick is a bush, very healthy even still. No real signs of flower yet. They do seem to be stretching a bit but when you look everyday it's hard to tell. I'm hoping to have a really nice canopy in a week.

What up grow fam. Week 3 up on these girls. At the moment they're a little upset with me. I went away for a few days so I over watered hoping they'd be alive when I return. They're still alive but sure upset and showing it. I did a defoliation taking the bigger fan leafs off to allow some more light to the lower branches. Also I don't usually put them under full power of my light until about week 5 but I did to see how they'd do and though they're stacking super tight, I think I probably did more harm then good. I'll baby them and see if they'll bounce back. All in all Happy Growing

Alright, bad news ladies and gents, I got the bud rot. It’s been humid as hell here and I think the buds were way to dense and not drying. I noticed it by inspecting the buds. As bud rot rots from the inside out, I noticed a few “out of place” leaves on the buds that were brown. From my experience with late season bud rot last year I knew right away. I peeled open the bud and sure enough rot. I looked around a bit more and found it in a few more places, I decided right away to take the large buds, and leave some on the plant to mature. The big green behind the garage, I also found some on one bud, I cut and tossed it. The purple one has no rot yet, I think because of the spacing between the bud sites, it’s not dense. Anyway here is a partial harvest, and some bud rot pics. I’m letting them finish, I’ll just keep an eye on them. Pray for dry weather for me. Cheers.

Welcome back growfessors to another episode of growfessor theatre! Week 6F begins for the ladies of the 4x8, they continue to bulk up, frost-up, sticky and they got that good stank! The ladies are hungry! Going from 4 liters of nutes + water per plant, to 6 liters per plant per week (extra feed started on week 5). 5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! Week 10 6/9-15 Lemon ladies love the outside. Both are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is getting nutrients with feedings. 6/13 heavy defoliation and limb removal for lemon cake since she's now in flower. Repositioned the scrog after defoliation so the thicker limbs are in the mesh. Drizzle, got light defoliation mostly yellowing fans. Before and after pics and vids. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed. With the heat and humidity, I water daily.
