A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

Days 78-84 - Been lax in updates, but I still log every week to completion. Back injury in addition to The Nineteen, Rona Style, has been a bit of a pain in the posterior. (That means ass) Plants are gigantic and sassy. Had Dangergirl come out and defoliate/lollipop the bottoms out of the girls, saving me painful labor and increasing my yields, so yay for her! Plants are happy, pompoms are getting thick, and everything looks good. Switched FF01 to flower on day 84.

Saludos!!!! Adjunto parte del proceso de cambio en su sda semana de floracion. La técnica de 36 horas de oscuridad antes de cambiarlas a 12/12 floracion me ha funcionado bien, lo veran por ustedes mismos. La temperatura esta biner del cuarto, humedad, olor entre otros, aunque les baje un poco los ppm a dos plantas de ellas bantantes elevado y esto afectaba el crecimiento de las nenas (esto es lo que le pasaba a la semilla que simpre me dio problemas, su ppm estaba en 4800 😬😱. Al identificarlo lo corregi dandoles un baño profundo 😋, y ahora todas estan en un 1200 a 1400 😍. seguimos muy contentos, con buenas espectativas este 2021 y que siga la lluvia de bendiciones para mi, para ti, para tooodos. 19/07/20 (Sunday) 7AM - Set 4 seeds to germinate in cups of water (Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, Columbia) 7PM - St. Vincent and the Grenadines seed shows taproot 9PM - Trinidad and Tobago seed shows taproot 10PM - Seed from Jamaica shows taproot 11PM - Set the 3 germinated seeds into individual half gallon pots filled with promix. 20/07/20 11AM - SVG seed rises to the soil level 8PM - Jamaican follows suit 11PM - TT also exposes itself 21/07/20 The weather and forecast for the week show scattered showers and the seedlings are showing early signs of stretching so I decide to build a makeshift grow tent to supplement their light cycle while bringing them outside for a minimum of 4 hours every day to acclimate them. I decided on a 75W output LED bulb with a temperature of 6500K and 1055 lumens while using my room fan to simulate wind for healthy stem growth. 22/07/20 The plants show slowed stretch symptoms but still not to the level I want, so I revamp the 'grow tent' with reflective material (crumpled aluminium foil for more reflective surfaces) and upgraded the bulb to a 100W output LED with the same temperature and a higher luminousity of 1350. One cotyledon on the SVG strain was broken but not completely sheared off, but I'll leave it to its own devices. 23/07/20 Columbian seed has yet to germinate so I added another from my backups. 24/07/20 Seedlings have shown normal rates of growth so I think the current grow tent is sufficient. When I took them outside they endured light gusts and rainfall for a half hour during their sun bask. I decided to add foil to the door of the tent to trap more light in. 25/07/20 Tropical Storm Gonzalo may make landfall today and the skies are set up for thunderstorms so I decided to keep the plants in their indoor setup for the full 18hrs of their light cycle. Since both Columbian seeds still show no signs of germination, I decide to go collect another strain. I got my hands on a 21 day old Dominican Republic strain that was grown in a seedling tray and left there; It was fed once with 20-20-20 and calmag. The cotyledons were white, the stem red between the top nodes and yellow the rest of the way down, the leaves a light green, and it was no taller than 2 inches excluding it's 1 inch sq root cube. I immediately transplanted it into my remaining half gallon pot upon returning home, dampened the soil with my spray bottle and left it to sit with the others and finish the light cycle.

Week 5 : Auto Colorado in Vertafort Great week of growth, filling out the canopy nicely by now ! seeing some promising side shoots, not seeing any excess or lack of nutrients - yet ! sprayed with micro and kelp twice a week , keeping VPD in the green zone to great effect. got watered with co2 twice and got watered once with beneficials and micro. I might have messed uo a bit on the pH watering the last time, but only time will tell. Hopefully the soil microbes etc will buffer it out without any significant pH fluctuations. just trying to follow their growth with some LST and raising the light every day or couple of days this week, keeping the distance constant and hopefully keeping the correct distance. I'm not planning a feed for a couple of weeks at least. Let's see how the buds develop first ! Any comments or constructive suggestions, fire away ! 🚀

Defoliated some leaves to let light in, chopped one down early as I run out of bud 🙄 it's good for less than 4 weeks flowering. Have them rice water starch again this week in with there food. A layer of frost is slowly forming 😎 hopefully they will fatten up nice and frost up really good to 🤞

I semi vengono dall'ennesimo rimborso della RQS (il miglior servizio clienti del mondo) Anche questa volta non sono germogliati tutti ma questo incidente più un'attitudine buddista et invent and simplify mi ha spinto a iniziare nuovamente con il metodo SCROG. C'è da dire una cosa sulla RQS Quando il seme germoglia è la pianta inizia il suo per corso, le genetiche sono top, di prima qualità, le cime in fioritura da servizio fotografico. Mi è stato detto e ho letto in alcuni blog che il kit di germinazione ha dato lo stesso problema ad altri coltivatori. La prossima volta germinero in maniera differente. Come potete vedere nelle foto del diario le piante sono cresciute in maniera meravigliosa, hanno risposto in maniera perfetta a ogni stress o modifica, adattandosi perfettamente a tutti i metodi utilizzati. Hanno riempito la rete dello scrog in maniera uniforme. Resistenti e vive. Nutrite acqua e Bio canna mi hanno dato 18 cimoni principali, che sono stati tagliati e messi a seccare. Lascio le cime più basse ancora qualche giorno, al massimo una settimana per farli ingrassare, per poi tagliarli e mettere tutto a seccare. E iniziare il prossimo coltivo. La seconda parte del raccolto è stata abbondante. Come potete vedere nelle foto Nel primo taglio con le 18 cime centrali che si sono magicamente trasformate in 16 😋 ho ottenuto 223 gr circa. Tra oggi e domani finirò di pulire e pesare, e inizierà in maniera più profonda la fase del assaggio.

She is doing a lot better this week I had to install a heater unit outside tent to keep levels better for the plants . The leaves are doing better and tomorrow she gets a feeding again and will be doing producing more leaves and getting healthier . She isn't flowering yet or any pre flowers but it will soon and she is gonna be a short one this go around . Cheers canna family....

All good :) besides small problems with Tropicana Banana, so she gots only water this week. The same symptoms I have noticed on clones sooo probably I will change her nutrients. They start to smell, so I turned on the fan with carbon filter. Lamp on 65% of power, around 45cm above cannopy. ppfd 1100-1300 on the center - ppfd 700-900 on the sides. Older ones around 20 day of bloom Younger 13 day of flow and Caramelo 5 day of flowering
