I did a pretty aggressive "final" defoliation and pruning of lower bud sights. Plants are still very green and happy. :) 10.17.23 - Girls are getting thirsty. Soil was nearly bone dry - gonna have to start watering more frequently. Watered today @ 6.4pH + 3ml CalMag + 15ml Bloom + 0.75 TSP Recharge. Did some additional pruning and the leaves are still very green and praying 10.19.23 - Both watered with 6.3pH + 3ml CalMag + 15ml Bloom. No recharge this feed, in a time crunch. Officially done defoliating / pruning. Time to just feed and let them go from now on :) Day 19 flower 10.21.23 - Both watered with 6.35pH + 3ml CalMag + 15ml Bloom + 1 TSP RECHARGE. The early developing trichomes are already over the fan leaves and are wildly sticky. The new smells are incredible and can't wait for them to get stronger over the next few weeks 10.21.23 - UPDATE: I took my 'end of week 3' photos and noticed that a lot of the leaves are showing early signs of overfeeding of P/K or both. Will be carefully measuring input/output from here on to ensure a slight lowering of soil EC.

Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. Y ya superaron el shock provocado por el mismo trasplante. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Flower Week 1

First grow completed, turned out far better than I could ever have hoped, the plants totally bossed it for all the winging it and improvising I put them through, but we got there in the end haha, Looking forward to next grow, can't wait to enjoy using all good genetics, already have some Bruce banner #3 seeds ready to roll out :) Thanks for reading

Week 6 - The Purple Power Is No Longer The Tallest In The Forest But It’s Still The Prettiest. The Purple Power Has Been Dethroned By 4 Of The Other Plants. Changed lighting to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Did a heavy defoilating, it literally took me about 1.5-2 hours.. I added a pic and scissors for scale. Started to add a little bloom nutrients in the mix . I removed the drip system, it was not reading correctly and always saying I needed to add water when there was. Our sweet lady survived a week of raind and intense wind, the golden rope you see was helping the buds to stay still and to help save branches from breaking. The lady is super sugary and sticky right now, but the buds seem like they are not gonna thicken more than that. This plant has been stressed multiple times during her lifetime, from broken branches to light overdose, she has been kept away from direct sunlight since than, so this is the cause we attribute to this slower growth. Our biggest doubt is about harvest time. The buds do not seem big at all, but they look very orange and the breed's harvest is said to be in mid October, so we should start flushing! While I think we should wait untill the last week of the month, F. says i's almost time for drying. 😵😲 Looking at some pics of last year's harvest I am afraid this lady is not going to produce as much as we tought, maybe because this is our first experience with so many nutrients. Hope someone can help about harvest and buds overall look 😬😬

Vamos familia, actualizamos la cuarta semana de floración de estas Black Rainbow de Seedstockers, salieron las 3 de 3, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, cambien el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y aplique una buena poda de ramas bajas, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, están cogiendo ya una tricomada seria. Harvest day 74. 10g dried after 4 days. Little plant and little yeald. Didn't respond well to topping, problems with over feeding in late flowering. Also began to foxtail in last week, probably due to 40°C at daytime. Will update the smoke test curing.

The plant did grow big and fat did not expect that. She have massive buds from top to bottom and she is now ready to be harvested and it should be a pleasure to trim the buds.

Afghan was a beaut and she would have stayed up longer if the rain had let up. The denseness of her buds is what we admire although it is also why she started to rot. The scent of her is strong and mouth watering. Overall we would grow her again outdoors, this was a strange year with the weather and it is unfortunate but we are quite sure every strain would rot just the same. Hopefully next year has a better balance but that is the way it grows outdoors. As for curing, it was not typical for us at all. First she was washed but Afghan was not trimmed nor was she properly managed, she hung for six days and went in a paper bag for moisture redistribution way to late. Aside from that we had to use a triple beam for an estimated weight and we were unable to get a wet weight so please take the number and outcome lightly. Bone dry does not mean she won’t be enjoyed, she will be made into hash and or edibles.
