📋 Comments Lemon cherry gelato by MNSL Is a good plant to grow. She has produced some nice flowers and is a very forgiving plant. 📋 Data Seed to havest=113 days. Veg time=35 days. Flower time=78 days. Wet weight=917g Dry weight=104g 📋 Smoke report After 11 days of drying i trimmed half the plant (trim jail) and finished trimming the day after, it. Not the easiest to trim and not as dense buds as the other plant in the grow but damn this lemon cherry gelato is absolutely dripping with trichomes and has a really fruity smell. There is a decent amount of trim to run some bubble hash. This is an excellent smoke, quiet sweet with citrus/lemon and slight cherry or fruity taste to it. Considering how cold it's been i have managed to get a decent VPD throughout the grow, I'd go as far to say the extra money spent on electricity was definitely worth it. I didn't run into any major problems and the Plagron nutes were excellent, I'm thinking these are going to be my goto from now on. I combined the trim from both plants to make a hash run and managed 14g of hash. That takes my total to 197g for the grow. Very happy. Back soon. Week 1 of flower complete I got rid of 4 males this week. Down to my final 6 females whom I will be harvesting this season. Started with 45 seeds this round. I bought some flower fuel 1-34-32 I'm going to be using starting week 2 of flower to help these girls produce. I'm having trouble controlling the humidity so I'm getting a new dehumidifier this week. Also wondering if I should get a bigger tent for these 6. It's only a 2wx4lx5t

Week 5 things are really filling out, 3 blue kings and GDP are stacking like Legos, fruity pebbles is continuing to get stickier and frontier. Gdp showing signs of yellowing. So might give a small nitro boost. And the girls we're thirsty a tad. Overall everything looking great!

Some more light defoliation, and propped her up as the buds are VERY dense and she started leaning over.

Beginning of week 4(Bloom) Plant has been neglected for the past few days. I’ve been super sick since Friday. That being said picture quality this week will be less than preferred, not much effort was put into this since I’m feeling like trash. She’s looking good, a little droopy, I let her reservoir dry out for a day. She should bounce back well though. She’s really starting to produce crystals. This week I’m doubling the amount nutrients. Up until now I’ve only been feeding her at half the amount recommended by the manufacturer. I’m hooking up a 7 gallon reservoir this week as I’ll be on vacation for the next week and a half. I hope she does alright being completely unsupervised for that amount of time. Also I hope that my clones/mother survive the entire ordeal. No more vacations for a while. Thanks for checking out my diary. Good luck with your grow! 😊 Feb 26: Feeling better today, so I gave her some love/abuse and took some better pictures. This girl is beautiful and exploding. I cleaned a lot of the lower leaves/buds off. I should have stayed on top of it more while it was younger because I feel I took quite a bit off. It hurts to remove buds, even if they’re really small and won’t really amount to anything decent.

12/29/21 - Welcome to Week 6! We are almost there. The plants are really showing off colors of yellow, orange and purple. The buds are getting larger and more dense. We fed the plants with the nutrients listed above. 12/30/21 - We are on track for a good harvest. Today is Day 44. We think it’ll be within the 55-60 day mark for harvest. We are just about ready to flush and use regular water for awhile. The buds are huge and very dense. Check out todays video! 12/31/21 - Wow… So frosty and dense! We are excited for harvest. So far so good! We have lots of purple buds. Happy New Years Eve. 1/1/22 - Happy New Year! They are looking really good this year ;) We are done with nutrients and we are going to water with phed water only. We might run Sledgehammer once or twice to get more of a flush. 1/2/22 - Day 47! The plants are on track. We are getting some massive tops with big chunks of purple on the buds. Such beautiful plants! 1/3/22 - We are loving the colors! We have a few weeks left. Harvest time is coming quick and we are getting everything ready for it. We are going to use an iPower bowl trimmer and toss all the popcorn in the bowl to be used for scented topicals. 1/4/22 - Looking really good today. We are just watering with plain water and the buds are like rocks. We have a ton of work ahead of us lol. It’ll be worth it!

In the second Week i started to give them a few nutrients. Maybe a bit too much, as you See in the last 2 Videos. Since its very cold (-5°C) in Germany i've put a heating cable losely around the pots to Heat Up the soil a bit.

I just added weeks 5 and 6 into one week because I didn't really have time to post last week. There seems to be a problem with my plants that I can't quite figure out. The only commonality that I changed with both plants since the last grow is the microbe Inoculant that I bought from NPK. The Black Afghan that I harvested back in November didn't have these microbes added to the soil and it grew into a monster. I am beginning to wonder if these microbes are stealing food from my plant. Even though these microbes are sold as "flowering" microbes. I'm beginning to think they are starving my plants. Also, I am technically 7 weeks from the flip to 12/12. So I may just be at the end of the flower period for these plants. I checked the Tricomes and they are mostly cloudy with about 5-10% amber. Normally at this point I would be cutting out the nutrients and letting her consume her leaves. However, she has already started to so that and now I don't know what to do. I just don't know. So... lesson learned. Stick to the basic nutes and stop trying to make this job harder than it needs to be. KISS

And ended up removing a big chunk of her that she was pushing out. (removed her next set above the one on day 35) and topped all nodes then to compensate. So topped 8 times × the main top. Noticed a very light fade in-between the vains, showing a very light mag def. Sprayed with a Epsom Salt Foliar spray 200ppm and dosed her with a 250ppm feed 6.6ph for both. All in all. I'm very happy with how this wk went. Still a few days to go in this week. Growth has been rapid. Doesn't look like it. But, she was much further ahead. I've redid her whole process 3x now. And, each time. It's set her back. 2-3 weeks in this shape with solid LST and she'll be fine. She's going under my SE5000 now with co2. All my 3x3 will be covered. Just waiting on my lux Uni-T meter. (To make my own ppfd map as the lux meter comes with an app that converts your lights lux spectrum into ppfd. You can set your area size. And find which ppfd is in what area of your tent by doing grids tests, software is still in development phase, but looks very promising. Has a 97% match to the apogee brands, they're the ppfd meter you see on all major light markers, and growers that have 700e to spare) Back to this girl. She is a great grower, as I said. Look back at week 4. She could of easily been flipped and made for a mid sized indica. I'm going a different route. And having fun shaping and making an even canopy. She has thin fingered leaves. So, not a bad indica to do a scrog with. But, I think I'll settle for 2 more weeks of growth and good LST and I'll put her to the flip. Thanks for viewing these 2 weeks.
