| WEEK FOUR UPDATE | Week four my friends, this came fast and furious and blew me away. I’m going to toss up a few more photos showing what I’m so surprised about. GROWTH! I was worried about a couple of the girls, and wasn't sure how to react to their progress until now. Autos have a completely different rhythm compared to what I’m used to handling (photo periods). I feel that autos can have an awkward stage appearance wise during week 3-5 (time may vary depending on seedbank) since a lot of hormonal changes are happening at an accelerated rate. Well done Fast Buds, these are truly living up to the name. Compared to other autos I grew from a different company (Growers Choice) which took over 100 days for flowering to kick in adding up to roughly 133 days till harvest. I could fit several grows of Fast Buds genetics in that time frame. If you’re someone who is looking to increase the amount of potential grows yearly, I’d recommend these genetics. These girls have just started flower so It’ll be a bit before I give my final thoughts on these genetics from Fast Buds, but I won’t deny that I’m impressed. I moved the plants around so the shortest are on one side so I can set individual light height for each side. I didn’t want to lose energy for smaller plants that could be utilized by lowering one of the lights. Now onto the details :) | ORANGE SHERBET | There are two phenotypes that are expressing themselves. One (#2) is medium height of 11 inches, stocky, and full of bud sites. The other (#1) is the smallest of all the plants, 8 ½ inches but honestly has a really good structure despite its size. I love the citrus dominant terpenes in both girls, 2# smell like mandarin orange zest which admittedly I have a weakness for. | WEDDING CHEESECAKE | This strain is also expressing two phenotypes. #1 is 9 ½ inches tall with a solid structure. #2 is 16 inches, a decent height and great limb proportions. She has the best structure of all the strains I’m growing from Fast Buds. Looks amazing, and is taking a bit more time to flower than some the others, which is fine considering how healthy and strong she looks. | PURPLE LEMONADE | When life gives you lemons, stretch! These two are the tallest of the strains resting at a height of 19 - 20 inches. #1 has limited limbs, if anything she’s all stem and bud sites making up one massive cola site that’s going to consume most of the energy and nutrients. So I expect this girl to have the largest buds of the others. She’s also the first to flower and currently ahead by almost a week. #2 has more limbs but less bud sites on the main cola than her sister. I’m curious how these two will develop in the next few weeks. | FINAL THOUGHTS | Another week has gone by my friends, time flies these days. This week was productive and informative. I’m learning a lot from growing these girls, and look forward to the coming weeks. I’m happy with what I’m seeing so far, especially WC #2, and OS #2, these two are the stars of this grow! On a side note I was contacted by Heather from Fast Buds, she offered to send another batch of Stardawg since they didn’t make it. I didn’t expect this, so I was surprised when I read the email. Week 4 of flower

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Defoliated to improve airflow and re tied branches down to create a more even canopy. Will re ammend the medium with 2 cups of worm casting, 1.5 tbps azomite and Gaia Green 4 4 4 on the last day of week 4. Recharge in every watering during veg.

What a slow grower, was the first to form budlets but now the slowest to mature. No real distinctive smell with her yet but some trichome growth was noticed. Removed a few lower fan leaves to allow light to penetrate. Should be a decent yield considering the time she's had to grow.

Week Five and Flowering has begun Will fold in Bio-Bloom and replace Fix Mix with Bio-grow , may add some Phos via top dressing as well. Yellowing continues to recede just not fast enough for my comfort. Brandy has obviously stunted considerably and Maggie at least somewhat. Could not expect differently Moving to Flowering tent soon as its clear, couple of days at most 10/28 UPDATE Going to play on a couple of hunches at next watering. Need to get a TDS meter soon, got a feeling it would help. Ever since we went to BioBizz we have experienced a variety of oddness in the vein of this grow. Now long term since we are switching to coco and Flora nuet line that is solved but short term I am switching to Dr. Earth Flower Girl for remainder of grow. Every feeding/watering will be @6.5 PH to 20% run off and checking PH on that. Of course this will be modified based on results. Schedule is a single top dressing at 4 tbs (roughly 2 tsp per gal of soil) covering with 1/2 inch min of coco and 50% perlite as a mulch. Layla must go on her own feeding schedule as she is just so much bigger and drinking well. Will do the feed when moving to Flowering tent in a day or so as that will be about time to water. She looks good if a little darker green than I like. Were it only Layla I might not suspect anything... meh Here is where Grow Diaries saved the day , by going back and looking at past grows we came to suspect the nuet change although initially results were great problems always seemed to follow. In my reaction to that, not knowing, I may have made other mistakes, likely in fact. Its a solid organic and may head off some issues. Simplify As for Bandy and Maggie, still have that bottle of H2O2 on the shelf, need to see some serious improvement real soon. Getting to be now or never Later: Talked to the owner of a hydroponics store who is also a long time grower that knows these nuet lines cold. His take is that it is absolutely the Bio-Bizz nuets, seems they are hard to run alone as they have holes in their make up which will cause mystery deficiencies in some plants and soil mixes. That really pisses me off LoL , my fault though just glad I have partial explanation. Good thing is he was able to show me the CocoTek Grow and Bloom lines and that is going to be the choice, two part feed without complications. Simplify heheh 10/29 Confirmed the dye reading of pot PH on all three by another method. Took a handful sized soil sample from as deep as I could of each pot and placed into a cup, soaked with 7.0 water let stand 15 minutes to stabilize, tested pour off, all at 6.7 so that is NOT the problem. Damn it This is the reasoning: Water goes into the pot at 6.4-6.5 takes the entire system to that level temporarily, it then begins bringing it up to 6.7-6.8ish and that friends covers the entire range of nuet take-up in soil. Going to cheat a bit high and make it 6.5 solid as its good on acid content. Least thats how I see it, back to basics so may as well. Top dressing Layla today with Flower Girl, others follow when pots dry out a bit more. Moved to Flowering Tent , something came up and they still have not been feed will try and do it this afternoon. 10/30 Fed Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 4 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) 11/1 Defoliated Layla (about 3%) so the center of the plant gets good light, did a little training on Brandy to keep things dry, Maggie... man just letting it grow I am just flabbergasted at this yellow leaf thing Pics at watering tomorrow 11/2 No water today, they dont need it.

This week whent ok bit slower than the autos but that's normal due to it being a photo period. I'm feeding once a week guaranteeing that the roots get some air to. Whenever it's a nice sunny day I put it out in the garden to try and harden it off a bit because eventually it will be going outside in the spring and grown all through the summer where I will hope to harvest in October.thank you for looking at it .for more information about feed and what nutrients look in the description on the diary.thank you and remember it's 420 somewhere

Well I had a bit of a setback the past week. The leaves started showing some black sort of toxicity (couple leaves have a spot or two in this weeks pics) and I noticed my leaves were somewhat darker to other plants at a similar age. I decided to flush it yesterday before lights on with PH'd water and fed it a lighter dose of nutes and also raised the lights 2". She immediately perked back up and a day later she seems to be doing a lot better. Leaves looking better and she's still growing! I _lightly_ defoliated (4-5 leaves) to get more airflow.

Platinum Bird (Gelato 33 x Gush mints) showin purps early in flower 🌸 🍬 When I start flowering the first 2 weeks of flower i lik to see 20/30 % purple pistils between the white pistils!! If u know u know 👍
