8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." That's when my perfectly cured buds will be ready to enjoy! Amazon - Hygrometer 12 Pack Target - 32oz Ball Mason Jars 12 Pack I use a smell-proof duffle bag. It has double zippers, and smell prof lining. The brand is www.420stock.com, and the model I use is the X-Large Trap Pax Duffle Bag. 8/23/23 - 20% more nutrients were added. She went from about 900 at the beginning of the week to about 330. Now she's back up to 500ppms. We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. Most eventful thing this week was getting invaded by strayan wildlife! I left the tent open with the portable air con running just outside it cause we had a few days of 35C+ weather, was the only way to keep it cool in there. Next morning there were 20 odd flies and a skink in the tent. Took me two days to get the skink out - I was dropping water on the floor for him to drink which he seemed to appreciate, but the slippery little sucker just didn't want to be caught! Got him eventually though, he made it outside safely. :) Also FYI watching skinks wee is hilarious, both the back legs come off the ground and they do a little wiggle. The 4 Assed Monkey seemed unaffected :P Starting to get some chunk slowly!

*Week 8 (Week3 Flower) - 02/07 - Thus far no issues - Buds are becoming more and more dense - resin starting to set well also - running 12/12 until harvest *

It's been another successful week.It's another successful week. The girls will soon get mineral food because the deficits are definitely too large despite the increase in food doses.💪

Week 9 / pictures at 63 days old. So everything has been pretty much the same as last week. No vertical growth but everything looking fatter and frostier! Still soaking up lots of water - 1.5litres every other day with 3ml of bloom nutrients in each. Removed a fair few leaves today - the unhealthy old ones from round the bottom and the ones getting in the way and touching the buds. Purple skunk buds still looking fatter than sticky orange. Sticky orange pistils started turning orange last week so I think she is going to be ready first but with a smaller yield. Purple skunk pistils have started turning orange today. Temperatures are higher this week and have reached 30 in the tent but spring is here so temps in general are higher outside. Was hoping it would stay lower as I really wanted the purple skunk buds to turn purple! They apparently prefer it cold before the purple comes out. But we’ll see what next week brings. I feel like we’re on the home stretch now. Each week gets more and more exciting and I just want them to get FAT! Again, pictures and videos just don’t do them justice - they look so much better in the flesh!

Day 39 - Watered the Gold Leaf today by dunking it. 8.4 PH going in and 6.3 for the runoff. The PPM was only 500 or so, but I'm guessing it is because of the dunk. The soil test was still 5.3 on one side and up to 5.7 on the other. I checked right away so maybe it has gone up. GDP #1 seems to need water, but GDP #2 will need another day. The Gold Leaf is reaching the 25" limit for flipping, but the net should help show things down a little so the other 2 can catch up. Day 40 - Both GDPs needed water and got dunked. PH was 8.5 and the runoff showed 6.2. A soil PH check came back at 5.9. I am hoping that the small jump will help. I realized I would not be able to test the runoff with the stand and saucers I was using so i got new ones. This lowered my potential flipping height, but with the SCROG I am hoping to keep the goldleaf down long enough for the GDP to catch up. Day 41 - The Gold leaf is tall enough to bend down and the GDPs are almost there. I'm anxious to see how many bud sites I can get through the net before I defoliate and flip to flower. I don't think I should wait much longer with 3 plants in a 2x4 and the gold leaf getting close to 25 inches. Day 42 - 2x4 is too crowded so decided to order a 5x5 and move them over before I flip to flower. The gold Leaf is dry again. Watering with 3 gallons to try and get the PH up and the PPM down. The PH of the water I am using is 7.5 Day 43 - Watered Gold Leaf today. Going in the PH was 7.5 and the PPM 250. The runoff showed 5.9 and the PPM was 870. The soil test after work showed on one side as 6.1 and the other 6.0. Getting better, but I want to be closer to 6.5 before I flip them. The 5x5 tent will give me the room needed for that. Day 44 - Watered the GDPs today. The water going in had a PH of 7.5. The PPM was around 255. The runoff had a PH of 6.2 and a PPM of over 850. Both were very similar. At least one more week without nutes unless there is a problem. The ladies all seem to be showing a bit of magnesium deficiency. I started using a foliar spray for now with 1ml cal mag in 500ml of water with a PH of 6.5. Might need to add cal-mag to the next watering. The 2x4 is way too crowded with the 3 of them in there together. Hopefully the new tent shows up soon. Day 45 - The Gold Leaf is getting worse. It looks like lockout again. The other side of the spectrum this time. Probably too alkaline... 😒 From now on I will be feeding with water with a PH of 6.5. For now I added a few drops of micro and bloom to the foliar spray and applied it once more. It seems like it will need more water in a day or two so that should help.

Another week the little lady keeps plugging away. Trichs are just about all cloudy. Harvest time could be this week.

Again I’ll start by saying.... I DID NOT use bud ignitor and bud blood in the same solution! I’m using bud blood on the rear and bud ignitor on the front ones! I’m so proud of my girls can’t wait until next week with some close ups of them forming buds! I’m so happy to be where I’m at with these girls all I’ve we heard is amazing things about this strain so to be so ahead with them makes me super proud!

Hi people 🤗 A lot has happened this week 😄 The 3 Blue Cheese and 2 Kosher Tangie Kush which have been in the flowering tent for 1 week have become very bushy 👍 Unfortunately I just noticed that I completely forgot to take pictures of the Blue Cheese Phenotype # 3 🤦‍♂️🏻 The picture will be given later. The rest of the Vegi tent is also progressing very well. They are repotted in 11 liter pots this week, and then come to the flowering chamber die the following week The next week there will be new pictures, until then I wish everyone a nice start into the new week 🙏🏻💪🏻 Let it grow 🍀🌱

Hey hey hey Growmies 😘🤗🤩 Thanks for stopping in! I hope your week has rocked! 💪🏼So far so good over here! Today is day 49 for my set of G14s from 420Fastbuds and they are kickin ass! 🤩 The first plant was topped early on at 3 nodes and we also did some LST, we now have 4 beautiful main colas that are getting so thick!! This girl is smelling so so good and is really doing great! 💪🏼 The second plant pictured is the same age and was not topped. This girl we did LST early on and it is also doing very well and has a good smell! Both girls are receiving a few different types of bloom nutes and also cal mag. We did some more defoliation on day 47 so the bud sites are sure to get plenty of light! We’ve been using the spider lights and so far are very happy with them. 3 gallon pots that are super breathable. Like I said, so far so good 😊 We are leaving to FL soon for 10 days 😬 so hoping everything goes smoothly while we are gone. Any tips for that (leaving plants while on vacation) are welcome! I had an easy week, the seeds from the mix pack I bought are really flourishing and they are growing at a good rate. Very healthy.

The fungus gnats are getting a little better. To bad they already did a lot of damage. Plants 3 and 4 have now caught up in height with plants 1 and 2 which are a month older. The buds and plants 3 and 4 are way bigger too. Flowers are starting!!! Loving it!! Defoliated at the end of the week.

Misses Blue is on a 12/12 schedule atm Gave her some extra blooming nutrients a couple of times this week. She stretched a little bit more, and seems to be packing on buds quite well

Week 3 day 7. Buds are getting icey and stretching around 1-2” a day. Dropped the carboload and is going to be replaced by a PK booster (big bud). Watering everyday. Plain RO on every 3rd water. The kind LED is pissing on the hps if im being honest. Bud development and vigor seems a lot nicer. Stay baked.

close to harvest have milky trichromes all over the place but only 4th week of flower some ambers too. buds getting thicker by the day . can she be ready after the fourth week? gonna try for better trichromes shots i know spelling is off but its ok

Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Week 10 of Veg December 29th 2019 Hi Folks well we now have aproximately 6 weeks until The day lengths shorten enough to trigger flowering. My main goal now is to try to keep the plant in tip top condition aswell as provide the support the branches will need when the buds start to get bigger. This is the biggest Ive managed to get this plant to grow before now, and with 6 weeks of veg still to go plus the stretch and I might just end up with a nice haul of juicy Pineapple chunk goodness for my efforts. ******As a side note I have two clones I took from this plant that I have already sprayed with my STS reversing mix for Breeding Purposes (see above pic) Cheers for checking out my Diary once again see you next year 👊

Got some cal mag. My ph has been off and honestly these pots are huge and I’m back to work full time. It been hot and times been short so I’ve just been hiding these girls down when they get too dry. My well water is about 7.5. With some heavy rains I noticed it jumped up a bit close to 8. And some of the deficiencies on the leaves pointed to Calcium def due to high ph. Soooo order the cal mag and gave the whole crop a feeding. With PH’d water at 6.5 and 1tsp per gal and a 2 gallon water feedbing for the big mamas like my special queen here. Let’s see what this does. As I’m very new and this is my official first season. It’s all an experiment to me. I super appreciate all the advice I get here. I’m so glad I found this site. Everyone helps and points me in the right direction for better knowledge and learning. Some of my friends/family really enjoy watching this part of my garden grow and I’ve cloned some of this plant and the white og and gifted them. And am hopefully passing on some good advise for their first grow! Looks like 9/25 is when my sunlight will convert to 12/12 so I still have some veg time. This girl keeps out growing her space. “Gunna need a bigga boat”
