It's hot as hell right now, so she's back to drinking every 24 hours. Just fed her with FOOP for the last time (Friday). Will only give her water for the rest of her grow time. She's looking almost fully cooked. Will likely check her trichs on Sunday and start to consider a timeline for chopping. No pest issues at all. Smell is absolutely divine.

I got Buds! Only a about a week old so the're tiny. Just watered with some Recharge and did some pruning, looking a tad droopy but should peak up in couple hours. Over all very health looking plants, So glad I switched to organic fertilizer, saw one gnat in the garden a few days ago, so as a precaution I put up a couple sticky traps, already got mosquito dunks mixed in the top soil from last time. Haven't see him since, might be stuck on one of the traps :).

Hello grow friends, Today is the start of Week 7 and it‘s day 40 of groth for the plants. It‘s safe to say, they transitioned nicely into flower and spread evenly throughout the tent. It was pretty time consuming to get enough light to the lower branches but it seemes to be paying off. At the start of next week, I have a heavy defolition planed so at day 21 of flower most of the fanleaves will be cut off. This will help tremendously with the high humidity i‘m dealing with. Somehow I still manage to get it down but I still have a job to go to and not much time to devote. Anyways, c you soon guys and have a great start to the week. 🤟🏼

Hello all! I am finally back online and so here is a proper update for the Queen! Citronella has suffered terribly during the house move and following weeks, a few days ago I took her lower third off and defoliated and removed underdeveloped nodes. I dried the popcorn I took off during this process and got 12g (dry). The rest I am leaving on her and hoping and praying those buds swell. The smell is absolutely the greatest thing ever, she is stunningly pungent - even the quick dried popcorn is really beautiful to smoke - so whatever I get from her, whatever little it will be, I will certainly enjoy. Anyway she is now being taken care of a bit more regularly and properly and moving forward until harvest I expect this to continue. Day 109: Fertigated 10l Day 111: The queen is maturing, but I am not sure her buds are going to get much fatter at this point. She is already struggling to hold them up, they must be really dense if they are so heavy this small. I am really at a disappointed stage with this grow, and I must do better next time I grow this strain. I am not impressed with this LED light, I think I need to grow a full tent under my better light and see how they do. Anyway she is trundling along and I don't think too far from the inevitably disappointing harvest.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. 5/10 Got up super early for wife's appointment at 7 came home and transplanted 4 of the purple punches. Transplants went good. Soil was too dry and a couple fell right in the hole but I was messing around showing my dad. It just got dropped in the hole a little harder lol. The other that happened to is fine though. Definitely make sure your soil is moist enough before transplanting. My transplanting technique for 3 gallon is to put soil on bottom. Set cup in at appropriate distance then replace cup with plant with soil filled cup and fill around it. Leaves the perfect hole. Then you just snip the cups twice on each side, peel it down and fold the cup down and cradle the bottom and in the hole it goes! Holes have mykoscand a little like water. I water a little after transplant. I misted soil whole mixing it up. 5/11 Dad left the windows open last night "because the soil smell was bothering Lynda." I couldn't ficking believe it. They were all fine when I got back but still. Everything is transplanted into 3 gallon containers bit that 1 purple punch that is a little bit dwarfed. I looked at the bottom of the cup and drainage wasn't as good. Must've been the last cup and the jail didn't go all the way through in a couple places. I increased the drainage on that little dwarf and I'll transplant it when I get time. We are going to have some good weather coming up. I need to get my cage moved, my bags sanitized and get on a good watering routine. UPDATE: Went back over at four and everything's dry as fuck but the leaves are uo and every one of them looks happy so I'm holding off watering. I'll start with a quart probably tomorrow. Also cleaned out tge cage and secured the handles to move it. Only thing left is cleaning and sanitizing. These girls have a south facing window and they LOVE it. It was 80 today. I hope we have an early season. 5/12 Transplanted the last purple punch today. I could easily tell the problem was drainage. It was the last cup I had stacked when I drove the nail threw so it didn't pierce all the way the the other slips and tac holes apparently weren't enough. Used mykos and same soil mixture. Soil was extremely dry. I lifted a pot with dry soil and these were heavier. Commercial buddy said to start with a quart a pliant and see how it goes but I kind pussed out and only gave them 24fl 0z a plant. Half the quart. I asked if I should water more and he said to just wait and see how they like this water and up it to a quart next time maybe quart and a half. Im just leery of overwatering. When i watered SOME of them the water literally just sat there and took forever to absorb. Plants werent wilting though. Soon theyll be going outside during the day and in mdoors at night. UPDATE: Went back over at two and everything looks AMAZING. Healthiest looking plants I've grown. Leaves all pointed up. I'm taking my commercial dudes advice and hoping the water next watering. For now, they're doing amazing. 5/13 Everything is doing greatcso far. Gotta figure out when to start nutes. Considering adding silica but don't want to raise ph to much. I'll consult with others but my the soil blend I'm using is full of nutes. 5/14 Rushed morning and I wanted to water bit the plants looked great still. Sticking my hands deeper I can feel a little moisture deeper down or in the drain holes so I decided to give the blueberry cheese and the 10th planet a "touch of kindness" which was a small circle of water from a small watering can around the outside edge of whete the rootball should lid be. I'm working on getting a watering g schedule down. UPDATE: Went back over at five and everything was looking good with leaves praying. Maybe my half measure helped. Doubtful but still. Tomorrow I plan to water. Since the soil has tons of nites ill probably hold off a little while longer before starting the nutrient schedule. I want to make sure I've got the watering down first. One thing at a time. 5/15 The 10th planet and Blueberry Cheesecgot their first REAL watering since transplant. Still being cautious I watered 28fl Oz a plant. I phed the water with an indicator solution and ph down. I gave the purple punches a "cup of kindness" which was a circle of water around the transplant hole. Can't waif to get a watering schedule down. I wanted to start nutes but my soil is full of them and i believe it's too early. I didn't see ANY run off from this watering. I think that's good as I'm not looking to wash away the nutes in the expensive soil I use. I need to start HST as well but I'm doing things proper and "one at a time". That way if I run into a problem I'll know what I did and how to rectify it. At least I hope. UPDATE: Went back over at 3 leary that I may have "overwatered" but the plants ALL looked AMAZING and had shot up like an inch! Looking into hst and will probable fim a few. Top a few and leave one to grow naturally. Can't wait to see how these girls do outside. 5/16 Wow. Just wow. Plants are doing phenomenal! Since the watering went really well I watered the purple punch bit I only used about 16fl Oz as the plants were a little smaller than the others. I'll up it to a quart next time like I did with the others. I want to USE the nutes in my soil so im not washing them all away by watering to run off. I topped 2 10th planet's and FIMed one of them. I want to see how the respond then I'll begin training the others. Off to a Great Start! 5/17 Glad I held off watering. It's raining today. Just showers. We haven't gotten any of that extreme wind we usually do. I have the plants supported but I still worry. Definitely more than I should. Plants are still doing good and acclikatimg to their new homes.

Plants named (starting from front) Trump, creepy uncle Joe and Hillary we'll see how each ones does. Figured Joe wants to be in the middle. Trump: Explosive growth and hitting limits of tent space, root zone is stuffed full of fuzzy roots. Buds keep smashing into LED, daily checks needed. No mango hairs yet on bud; maybe next week. Clones pulled right before flowering cycle switch. tldr: Stop growing damn-it! Creepy joe: Squished in the middle and not doing great, but overall joe is still a happy plant, just seems somewhat lost at times. Not alot of stretching on switch. Hillary: Moderate growth overall doing well on the edge; medium performer and should have decent results. 5/25 Some pics may be repeated because I forgot to add a new week. Waited until about 11 to bring the girls outside. They were definately dry on top so I used the rest of the gallon to water them. When going outside I noticed a specific kush plant that's lighter than the rest. I really need to up my water volume on these big plants. They are also getting close to not liking it in the 1 gal. and are ready for a transplant. I cleaned the cage so as soon as the weather permits these girls will be outside in the direct sunlight. Basking in the sun in the cage to finish hardening before going into their final homes which will be 20-30 gal smart pots and a 50 gal grow pot. Well SOME of them are ready for transplant. The link kush seems to take its time but it looks extremely indica-E. Weather looks like it will be amazing this week so I'm obviously stoked. Wouldn't suprise me if these girls were outdoors be the end of the week! EDIT: THE GIRLS STAYED OUT FOR 3.5 HOURS AND LOOKED FANTASTIC. TUEY GOT SOME INTENSE SUN, EXPOSIRE TO THE HIGH RH AND A LITTLE EXPISURE TO THE HIGH WINDS. SPECIAL KUSH SEEMS TO BE THRIVING. I THINK IT WILL DO WELL IN THIS CLIMATE. THAT ONE MK ULTRA IS GROWING AT A RIDICULOUS RATE. I WATERED THE PIBK KUSH THAT WAS LIGHT. I CANT WAIT FOR THE UPCOMING WEATHER. I CAN EXPOSE THE PLANTS TO SOME DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND SEE HOW THEY HANDLE IT. I CAN ALSO GET THE GROW BAGS READY WITH SOIL MOXED AND THEM IN THE RIGHT LOCATION THE DAY BEFORE THE TRWNSPLANT TO FINAL HOME BUT IM GETTING AHEAD OF MYSELF. IM HAPPY THUS FAR. I also added another half hour of darkness so the plants will be closer to actual daylight times. They're down to 16.5. I'd like to have them lower by now but it is what it is. If some reveg I'll deal with it. 5/26 Plants seem to grow an inch I'm a day. MOST are getting to the point where they want to stretch their feet out. Good thing they'll be going in their final homes as soon as they are hardened off completely. I brought them out around 8 this morning. I have to be back at noon but I'm uncertain if leaving them out that long is a good idea. I'll probably have to check them in an hour or so. They're in the lean-to but THAT gets direct sun until the sun rises high enough in the sky to block it. I put them in here rather than the cage so they can build a tolerance to these harsh winds. Topsoil was dry as fuck. I watered everything. I focused on those that SEEMED the lightest and the largest plants. That MK Ultra plant I fimmed is going to be MASSIVE. I'll update what I do as I do it. Oh I also cleaned the bags twice and they are hanging inside the cage with the direct uv rays hitting any part that's discolored. I MIGHT do one more cleaning but I doubt it. Twice is enough. Technically three times but still. I want things to go right. It looks like I've got some pretty good phenos. EDIT: I PULLED IN (BLOCKING VIEW FROM PART OF THE DRIVEWAY OFF) BECAUSE THAT WAS CLOSER TO MY PLANTS. I GET OUT AND START ADMIRING MY PLANTS AND LOOK ACROSS THE STREET TO SEE TWO STATE TROOPERS AND SOME DETECTIVE ACROSS THE STREET. DAD SAID AN AMBULANCE CAME BUT LEFT WITH NO LIGHTS ON. THEY WERE TALKIMG TO THE COUPLE SEPERATELY. I ATE LUNCH AND THEY WERE STILL THERE. MY HOT WIFE WENT OUT AND THE ALL STARTED FUCKING RUBBER NECKING. MEANWHILE I BROUGHT THE PLANTS INSIDE WITH THE SMALL COVER MY S.U.V PROVIDES LOL. PLANTS WERE LEFT IN DIRECT LIGHT UNTIL IT ROSE HIGH ENOUGH TO CUT IT OFF TO THE LEAN TO. PLANTS SEEM LIGHT. WELL SOME DO. I NEED TO GET A GOOD WATERING SCHEDULE DOWN. JUDGING BY HOW THESE PLANTS TOOK IT TODAY I THINK THEYLL BE OUTSIDE IN FOREVER HOMES WITHIN A WEEK. 5/27 Just poked my head in and checked on them real quick. NO damage whatsoever from all that time in the sun. I left them inside this morning so I can bring them out later in the day to see what happens. I'll add pics later and update what I do. EDIT: BROUGHT THE PLANTS OUT TO THE CAGE AT A LITTLE BEFORE 10AM AND LET THEM BASK IN THE 85° SUN. THE WIND WAS A LITTLE ROUGH ON THEM. IT WAS ACTUALLY THRASHING THEM BUT MY INTUITION SAID 'LEAVE THEM BE' SO I DID. I DID MORE CLEANING AND FIGURED OUT SPACING IN THE CAGE AND I MIXED A 30GAL GROW BAG AND 2 20GAL GROW BAGS WITH A 50/50 MIX OF FOX FARM OCEAN FOREST AND HAPPY FROG. SOUL WAS MIXED WITH A GRADE STAKE AFTER BEING PUT IN A GALLON AT A TIME (TO ENSURE EQUAL PARTS) AND FINALLY MISED BY HAND. TAKES A LOT OF WORK. IM NOT GOING TO BE AS PICKING WITH THE OTHER ONES. I STILL HAVE MY 50 WITH SOIL IN IT. MAINLY DUE TO LAZINESS AND THE PAIN IN THE ASS IT IS TO MOCE THE FUCKER. PLUS IF IM LOW ON SOIL (WHICH IM NOT) THAT WAS GOOD SOIL AND THE PLANT HAD NO PROBLEMS SO I GUESS IF NEEDED IT FOULD BE REUSED. I NORMALLY JUST EMPTY THAT FIRST AND MIX A SHIT TON OF SOIL IN THERE AND SHOVEL IT IN THE BAGS. THIS WAS MUCH HARDER. PLANTS GOT CLOSER TO 2 HOURS OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT BEFORE I MOVED THEM TO THE LEAN TO. I WILL UPDATE WHEN I HRING THEN IN BUT DESPITE THE HARSH SUN AND WIND THEY SEEM FINE. EDIT: BROUGHT THE GIRLS IN AT TWO BECAUSE MY WIFE HAD AN APPOINTMENT. NO DAMAGE WHATSOEVER. I THINK IF I USE THIS WEEK TO INCREASE DAYLIGHT HOURS AND UP THE WATERING THESE PLANTS WILL BE READY TO GO IN THEIR HOMES. A FEW ARE BIG AND DEF READY TO STRETCH THEIR FEET. 5/28 With the increased sun some these plants are out growing their containers. PLANTS SPENT APPROX AN HOUR AND A HALF IN DIRECT 85° SUN. EVERYTHING SEEMED FINE AND I WAS GOING TO LEAVE THEM FOR THE DAY IN THE CAGE. THEN I NOTICED THE BIG MK ULTRA'S MAIN STEM (IT GOT FIMMED BUT THE MAIN ONE) WAS STARTING TO DROOP A LITTLE. I PICKED THE PIT UP AND DESPITE A LITTLE BIT OF MOUSTURE ON THE TOP THE PIY WAS LIGHT AS A FEATHER. PLUS SETTING ON THE THEM ON THE TAR WASN'T THE BEST IDEA EITHER. I MISED UP SOME WATER AND WATERED THE PLANTS THAT SEEMED LIGHT. I NEED TO PICK UP LIKE ONE MORE BAG OF OCEAN FOREST FOR MY 50 GAL. I'M GOING TO TRY TO FINISH MY OTHER TWO 20'S AND THE TWO 10'S TONIGHT SO I'LL KNOW WHAT IM LACKING. ITS BASICALLY JUST THE 50. IF MY INTUITION SAYS ITS OK ILL TALE THE "COOLER" DAY TOMORROW AND TRANSPLANT THE THREE PLANTS TGAT ARE GETTING TO BIG FOR THERE POT. ÌF NEEDED I MIGHT GET SOME SCREENS TO USE AS A "BLIND" SO THE PLANTS DONT GO STRAIGHT TO FULL SUN ALL DAY. EDIT: TJAT HUGE MK ULTRA REVOVETED NOCELY ONCE WATERED AND PUT IN THE SHADE. IT NEEDS TO BE TRANSPLANTED. I MAY DO ITCTOMORROW. PLANTS HAVE GOT TO BE CLOSE TO HARDENED. I MIXED ALL MY SOIL AND FILLED ALL THE GROW BAGS WITH THE MIX. I FINISHED CLEANING THE CAGE AND REMOVED BAMBOO AND TRELLISING. TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE A MILD DAY AND PERFECT FOR TRANSPLANT. SOME OF THESE GIRLS ARE GETTING VERY BIG. I RAN OUT OF SOIL AFTER THE LAST 10GAL GROW BAG. ITS NOT FILLED "ALL" THE WAY AND I GAVENT FILLED MY 50 GAL. I'LL GET THE REST OF THE SOIL I NEED FOR THAT 50 TOMORROW.

Hello everyone hope you staying cool Cause the weather is over 100 degree and everything is drying and dying. We really need some rain! Anyone with the heat wave I trying keep this gals water up. The biggest one drink water like no tomorrow, well both of them. I give them a tea liquid compost 3.11.11 of organic fertilizers. Just to keep up with the flowering stages she using up a lot nutritions and I’m glad that I was on top of my game with these outdoors grow. Not bad for novice first timer. My family love them. I’m keep in the sun as thst will help with resins production and the bees are doing a fine job pollen them.
