The best plant I have ever grown. Very resistant, and great flowering, fat buds, large flowers and beautiful colors on top of a whitish resin. This week there is no fertilizer, so as not to have problems with the harvest regarding taste. The leaves turn yellow quickly.

Week 12 for Lemon OG by SSSC I know she started off terribly but i think she maybe making a come back maybe?? Got her canopy as flat as i could she's looking good. 😎 She's got a lot of catching up to compared to her sisters but she might be wroth keeping in the garden anyway. She's been getting sprayed down with water every evening and she's got no pest issues.

After 8 weeks of flowering she was ready with her solid purple buds smelling of rotten lemons I love thus strain now an Goat Genetics has done an amazing job with her an I will grow her very soon again

What a fantastic grow, this has now overtaken another plant thst was started 2 weeks before this F1, the growth on this plant is phenomenal !! Buds look like they have started to form nicely, as this is an auto i have taken to try and tuck levlaves in to open more light to buds below as I do not want to defoliate being an auto. Still amazed at the speed of this strain and already looking forward to next week's update for you all. 🌱

September 2, Day 43. I removed the trellis because it was annoying and I realized the spaces were too large and that's why it felt clumsy... Kabob sticks are doing the trick so far. As I was clipping some leaves to prepare for flowering, I noticed roots growing through the bottom of the pot. I hate transplanting plants so I sat the current pot in another pot that was filled 30% with additional coco coir that had been prebuffered with seedlings strength nutrients to avoid shock. I am confident the roots will continue their journey through the first pot and into the additional space below. Now to observe for a few days, aiming to switch to flowering next week. I have removed at least 30 leaves throughout the last week and she is still looking so bushy and healthy... Thanks Recharge. I clipped a branch and planted it in a prebuffered with seedling strength nutrients rockwool pellet... I baptized her Kaboom Baby.... And. She. Survived!!! Ahhhhh!!! So freaking happy! I am going to start a second grow under this diary called Kaboom Baby, La Reinita Africana. Update, Day 46, September 5, 11am. Fed and watered with all nutrients except Recharge. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Fucking trees!!! Plants just broke my indoor plant height record by 2" now. I don't think this is going to brake my gram records tho. Compared to my other tent the buds are a lot smaller and then 2 of the plants have had issues since the start and don't have very many bud locations on them. Started off by setting up the growing environment and dialling everything in such as; RO Water for the RDWC hydroponic system. Water Heater being set at 20 degrees C. Water chiller being set at 21 degrees C. pH being set at 5.7/5.8 Room Temp and humidity 20/23 Degrees C / 60%/80%RH. Instead of using rockwool cubes to place my seeds, I put them directly into the clay pebbles. I then used a DIY humidity dome to place over the seeds until they make an appearance. I have been top feeding RO water every 6 hours. Foil was used to cover the net pot to ensure no light leaks were going into the system. Highly important in DWC. Will add some light nutrients once seeds are more established. Until the next one!

Hey! This was the last week of flower, I harvested on day 70 of flower. Things could have gone better with this one, I've got a couple seeds left so next run they're going in and we're going to do things better.. Pretty happy with the results still, some terpy lemony stuff!! Can't wait to see what this strain can really do. Take care out there! One love Growers & tokers!
