What up family, weekly update on these girls. I raised the lights 6in this week to allow some stretch but still keeping 400-600ppfd at the canopy level. Over all they're progressing beautifully. I started adding 2.5ml/gal of Athenas Blended line Grow A & B. Haven't seen any burnt leaf tips so I think they'll be OK adding a little boost. All in all Happy Growing.

Our Zamnesia photoperiod plants have also started their journey into the magical flowering period, this is the first week. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit again but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid jeopardizing the quality of the flowers. If necessary, open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The good thing is that as soon as the lights are turned off the change is already visible a bit and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should also be dehumidified) - Here we are at a top secret level so I can tell you that she is called XXX Test 1 and we really like how she climbs up. In fact they are because one is climbing up straight nice and fast too, the other was worked with a topping and let's see how it ends. --- Feeding Program - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I am following the table that I generated on the site depending on the substrate chosen. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. 27 august: day 21 Flowering the plant in the 20liter pot has the same problems now as my other critical grow.. the leaves fall of at the bottom and waterleaves in the middle turn yellow inbetween the vains.. im not sure what this is. the other plant in the 12Liter pot is yellowing a bit at the bottom but very dark at the top (no burn) you can see everything in the video all info is welcome even if this update is getting old. i only have this problem with this strain

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

5-27-20: getting closer. Shes my first autoflower and think ive done good so far. 5-30-20: had to harvest her. Too many nanners went unnoticed with too many other plants in the room. Thats common with trainwreck strain. Will update and close this out when its ready for curing.

She has her own room now! Inside this VIVOSUN 5x5 the canopy is being supplied with 35,000 - 55,000 lux (650 - 950 ppfd) by the spiderfarmer SE7000. I also installed a UV-B fluorescent light on a timer to run for 30 minutes before the se7000 turns on. I did some light defoliating and retied some outer branches to open up the canopy. Feeding following the general hydroponics 10 part table for late blooming/ripening - subbed liquid koolbloom for dry koolbloom at an introductory rate of 1/4 tsp/gal. Also added GH Ripen @ 4ml/gal.

These ladies are just getting PH water. Checking their trichomes every day and waiting to harvest. The bugs on these two are far denser then what was on the Daiquiri so can’t wait to see the weight of these ladies!! Hey Growers. It’s going great around here. These girls are happy, healthy and growing like mad. They’ve chunked up so much that they’re starting to lay down. It’s just a couple at the moment so I’ll keep an eye on them and see if intervention is needed. The trichomes are so gritty it feels like table salt between your fingers and the Cali has a orange/lemon citrus and woody scent. The Jack is sour skunk and the cookies Kush is a sweet sugary scent. I’m not 100% sure if they’re fox tailing from light stress or just natural Kush characteristics. I’ll be keeping an eye out for hermie’s and stress. I’ve added some Green Planet Rezin, as I think it’s awesome and helps with aroma and makes oily terps. I’m thinking this will be my last top dress and I’ll probably just do half dose and top up with monster bloom for the next couple waters then drop everything except cal and Rezin. Happy Growing 🌱

22-10-2025 I was cutting of rotting buds three days in a row, she is deteriorating very vast in this rainy weather. I decided to harvest some branches, washed them and hung them to dry. At least I will have something from this plant. Tomorrow I will see what to do with the rest of the plant. Wait some more and cry everyday while cutting rotting buds or just cut up the whole thing and be done with it.

2/5/2024: She grew another 2 inches, so I'm not seeing the stretch I was hoping for. Think she is going to be small, but that's OK. Other than some slightly burnt tips, she is doing good. Just starting to smell a little and I can see the first signs of some tricomes. Mainly bottom watering, but I mist the top a couple times a week to keep the top soil moist. 2/7/2023: watered with about .6 gallons today. Mainly filled the tray to bottom water, but made sure the top soil was moist as well. Also, gave the cover crop a little haircut, but the clippings went right back into the 2/11/2024: a few of the pistols are starting to darken and she is starting to smell more and more each day. At this point I'm getting a sweet and floral smell. Don't mind the trellis net in the picture, it's for the other two photo period plants growing next to her.
