I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

This week I assembled the new 48x48x80 Mars Hydro tent and installed the new FOHSE Aries 600W LED light. I set the dim to 75%, but after two days, it was clearly too much, especially for 20 hours per day. I will dim it way down and shorten the hours until the plants appear to be doing better.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week Four of Vegetation but I'm somewhat relieved that they haven't started flowering yet as they are only 5" & 6" respectively so some more time to grow is a good thing right now! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and other than being short, they are both looking perfect! The #1's 4g Gronest pot was heavy when lifted as was the #2's 3g Wraxly pot and they both looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped for the first time a week ago, they both have two new shoots that are emerging and have new growth sprouting out all over with extremely tight node spacing making them definitely Indica dominate, and will most likely result in very short stocky cultivars from this strain which would be ideal for someone with limited grow space. 😎💚 Both of these girls are extremely healthy with excellent vigor and color and I can't wait to see if they get any taller and for them to begin flowering! 🧐💚 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. Still no signs of flowering on either tester but I anticipate it will be any day now! 01/02- Yesterday I finally saw signs of flowering on the #1 tester! The #2 is still a no-show but as short as she is it's probably for the best! Today I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues they may encounter before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. The #1 tester is on her fourth day of flower and looking great! Because she's so bushy and was getting choked with growth, I removed a few shade leaves to open her up and get some light penetration down into her canopy. The #2 tester has yet to show any signs of going into flower which I won't be concerned with unless it persists for another week or so, at which point I'll make a decision on how to deal with her. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! here we are Guys, 11th week, 6th into flower, the girl is recovering nicely. she started to put some size buds and pistils are started back to grow white. the Led is working perfectly and the buds are really frosty as fuck. I hope she will still give me some nice weight even with the past big mistake. UPDATE: she's definitely recovering fast. at day 82 the buds are swelling, I apologise for all the colors shades but i changed lights in order to get the best shots.

16.2.25: I decided to check out the lower canopies of all plants to see if I need to get rid of any foliage. I did get rid of a few small branches and leaves. However, whilst I was doing this, I saw more garden pegs from my LST remaining. There were about 6 or more in Pink Mist alone. Additionally, on Watermelon, there were some left in, too. I'm so annoyed to see that because the plants are really stretching, and I could've potentially disrupted this by leaving the pegs in for all this time without realising it. 🤞 that I haven't compromised things too much. We'll see. I watered today with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients; ♡ .8g Green Leaf Nutrients PK booster ♡ .5g Ecothrive Biosys I ordered quite a few things for the garden. I got Greenleaf Nutrients Sea K(elp) and Mega Crop Parts A+B. To go with their PK Booster I got last month. I'm excited to try it all together. Next run, maybe just using these. We'll see how it goes. 18.2.25: The plants are going crazy for water! Everything is getting used right up so fast! Today, I decided to add some more Black Strap Molasses to add some carbs and other micronutrients. I'll add the jar with the label in the photos section above. I watered a very small amount to each plant. What I put in: ♡ Black strap molasses 150g ♡ 2g Sea K(elp) Greenleaf nutrients. I dissolved everything in 4ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. 19.2.25: I received the majority of the garden purchases that I made. I'm still waiting for the Ecothrive Life Cycle. I wanted to top dress, but it's been delayed unfortunately. I am using my Greenleaf nutrients products which I bought on Amazon. I got the Mega Crop 2 part system Part A and Part B. I have the Sea K(elp), and the bud explosion PK booster. I really wanted to get some of their sweet candy asking read many positive reviews. Unfortunately, for me, this is unavailable to buy currently. So that's a little disappointing. I needed to do a good watering so when my nutes were delivered today, I got excited 🤗 I watered 2ltrs of dechlorinated water per plant, PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients: ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part B ♡ .5g Sea K(elp). The plants drank this up within a few hours. I'm going to try and hold off on watering in hopes that my Ecothrive Life Cycle will arrive so I can top dress and water it in then. 20.2.25: My Ecothrive Life Cycle arrived yesterday, and the plants are ready for their top dress and a good watering in. I have some Biobizz Light Mix, Canna Coco,and perlite. I'm going to use this as a base to mix my amendments in. I'm going to fill my 5 gallon bucket with about 4.5 gallons of my top dress mix. I will distribute this across 6, 4-5 gallon pots. Then I will water in well with Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop Parts A+B and Sea K(elp). I've made a crude attempt to video mixing my top dress. Not a bad yield, smells really nice, fuel and berries

From the 15th day I start adding half the norm of Hesi TNT Complex 2ml/L, we test with 210 ppm so as not to burn the roots. On the 18th day, I moved the plant into a larger pot and watered it with half the recommended amount of nutrients and of course, transplanted the plant into a larger pot. On the 21st day, I did LST (Low-Stress Training).

Growing fast, topped on the 4th And 5th of Oct first nutrient feed went light, REALLY LIGHT on the nutes

* *********** Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * These girls have been continuing their growth this week and looking better all the time. GSC2 still slow though and will not have much yield. Her leaves have turned very dark this week due to lockouts I suspect. Her hairs are still very white and coming out pointy looking for pollen and swelling. GSC is still swelling and her buds are bigger at the end of the week. Purple colours also coming out in her. The big girl has done well being squished in the corner as I had to put the two in one tent this week. The frost in GSC has been coming out for the last two weeks and is really getting sticky this week. The pH is still crazy high for the girls but they are pushing through this issue and finishing up. These are very resilient plants and I am impressed with her vigour!! Still giving them feedings in the 3.0 pH range to help as her runoff is still coming in at mid 7’s......for both girls. GSC has been feed hard because her leaves have a nice pale colour, unlike GSC2, so keep her going and swelling. They were given a heavy watering of 8L each on day 71 to find out where the medium is. They were 7.9pH when started and last runoff was roughly 7.1pH......should have gone further to bring down more but stopped there so I didn’t flush out all of the feed since they have a couple fo weeks left. The hairs on GSC are turning more of a tan colour rather than snow white. I suspect she they have roughly this week plus another yet before thinking about harvest.......I see them going to 84 days roughly, 12 weeks. GSC bud sites are getting pointy this week. Added bamboo steaks to GSC to tie the long branches to and support her weight. GSC2 less so and are still looking more round as she continues to fill in her buds. GSC stems have been turning purple more and more this week. Suspect it is a combination of pH and stresses with temps. GSC2 was tied more this week as well to let more light in closer to the main stem. This paid off as well as she is stacking the lower points more. She, GSC2, has also paid a bit of a price over the last week because she was kept in the flower tent with other more mature girls. The environment in that tent was striving for 76 degrees and 51% humidity but GSC2 wants 82 degrees and 65% humidity........didn’t have much choice😢 Fast Buds has rocked this strain and dialled her in after the generations of breeding!! She is very frosty for an auto and had she been given the correct watering, she would be considered an easy grow In my opinion! The two girls are growing very different but that is grower related to transplant and not genetics. Awesome job Fast Buds......the girls are keeping me smiling......and scratching my head at the same time👍👍👍👍 Little more detail....... June 20/20 - Day 71 - 6L low ph flush of plain water @ 4.0 to bring down pH..........3L each girl. - Followed with a low pH feeding of 4L watering with Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag, B52 @ 2ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Voodoo @ 0.5ml/L, = 1170ppm and pH 4.4 - GSC1 tops are getting lots of purple in the bud. - GSC1 is filling in nicely and top leaves are starting to fade yellow. - GSC2 is dark😞 June 21/20 - Day 72 - continuing flush with 12L of plain water pH to 3.3 to bring down pH. - 6L given to each girl. - added bamboo stakes to pull GSC1 apart and open up the middle bud sites to more light. - GSC1 is 38" tall and 36" across now😀👍 - GSC2 is 20" tall and 24" wide👍 June 22/20 - Day 73 - 2L each watering with Rezin @ 1ml - hairs are turning more red and more white to tan now. - GSC1 is closer.....getting to home stretch soon. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 5L - Massive @ 3ml/L, Rezin & L.Weight & B52 @ 2ml/L, Vitathrive & Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L = 1110ppm - GSC 3L, GSC2 - 2L - they are getting close to the end so getting the last bits of everything into them😀 - noticing GSC1 top cola may start to bleach out a bit. - GSC2 feels like she has stalled. June 24/20 - Day 75 - watering 3L each with Massive & Terpinator @ 3ml/L, Rezin & Vita & L.Wt @ 2ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L, CalMag @ 1ml/L = 1385ppm and pH to 3.9...crazy! - moved the two girls together today as the other two are going into darkness now, they are done. June 25/20 - Day 76 - Dry out day - GSC is doing well with her buds filling in now and firming up. Top leaves are drying more. - GSC2 is dark.....F......plain water and not much more we can do. June 26/20 - Day 77 - 7L watering with Rezin and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 75ppm and pH at 4.0 - 4L given to GSC and 3L given to GSC2. - Staying with RO water now.......tap water appears to have been an issue. - too bad the ph was such an issue.....GSC would be a monster😞 - run off numbers in pots: GSC 7.6pH and 780ppm GSC2 7.6pH and 1850ppm (she has stalled) Awesome strain Fast Buds.......will be running her again!!!!!!
