She's growing so fast. I was just watering the rockwool cube whenever it dried out but I put it in the net pot today and covered it in LECA clay pellets. I topped her yesterday as well. PH and ppm look good. I'm just going to plug in the dripper every once in a while until the roots start growing through the net pot. I don't want the rock wool to be submerged. The top is covered with clay now so shouldn't be susceptible to mold from the light reaching it. Looking at my last grow (CBD Blue Shark / Wedding Cake) I didn't provide enough light or nutrients at the start and wasn't able to top until week 6. Growing in peat/rockwool instead of paper towel/soil, adding nutrients right away, and using the HID grow light from the start instead of a smaller cloning light seem to have made a big difference.

V24, se realizó LST a las ramas con buen crecimiento. He notado que son más difíciles de entrenar, son algo más duros los tallos, por lo que les hice un pequeño masaje antes de doblarlas para evitar que se rompan.

Week 6 starting out with only red and white lights on. Noticed some heat stress on the top leaves so turned all the blue lights off (50%). I will try to get the lights higher if she keeps growing taller but it's noticeably cooler with just the blue lights off. Day 44 - Strapped the lights to the very top of the tent. ITA: come mi avevo pensato le piante stanno crescendo a vista d'occhio, addirittura di diversi cm al giorno (basti guardare come erano solamente due giorni fa). Fortunatamente non dovrei incappare in problemi legati all'eccessiva altezza in quanto manca più di mezzo metro (forse quasi uno) per raggiungere il soffitto della box. Tutte le piante non mostrano segni di stress o carenze, anche se la temperatura della soluzione nelle ultime settimane è cresciuta: sono partito con la soluzione a 20C e ora siamo a circa 25C. Purtroppo la watermelon zkittles è rimasta più piccolina rispetto alle altre 3. Questo può essere stato causato principalmente per due motivi (dal mio punto di vista che non è quello di Kyle Kushman) 1. taglio delle radici 2. eccessivo stress dovuto a un numero di topping troppo elevato con conseguente eccessiva ramificazione di rami troppo sottili per sostenere il peso di una cima densa e compatta. In ogni caso cercherò di salvare il salvabile. Ho eseguito una defogliazione a tutte e 4 le piante in quanto nella settimana e mezza passata la weed ha rimesso tutte le foglie. Ho potato anche le ramificazioni più basse che non prendevano abbastanza luce, almeno fino a dove sono riuscito ad arrivare dato che il mio growbox si apre solamente da un lato e arrivare dal lato opposto è praticamente impossibile almeno che tu non abbia le braccia lunghe 6 metri. Piano piano si stanno iniziando a formare le cime, vedremo come proseguirà la crescita. Flower Week 2 Day 14 to 20 - 4/1 to 4/7 Simply watching the stretch from this point. Defoliation is needed by day 20 (4/07) so I removed all but the top 1 or 2 fan leaf sets as well as a few of the lowest branches. The idea here being that I want to mostly lolipop the colas and allow more airflow/light into the center. Feed this week was an auto pot reservoir feed now at 700ppm total before add-ins. I used 175ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 525ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 where Io plan to maintain it until harvest. Video Post defoliation Next week nutes will increase in Bloom mix again but also eliminate Veg mix. Feed will again be 700ppm before add-ins with 5.8ph before feeding.

Compared to her sister, this Pineapple Express auto flowered very early! I LST'd her while I could, and defoliated what was necessary. She turned out great! Although the yield for this phenotype is at my lower limit for acceptable. I'm happy that I'm growing a second one, that vegged out longer, making for a much larger Pineapple Express!
