Su 5ta semana completada ! (mas un día porque debí subirlo ayer) El crecimiento sigue progresando y esta semana aumente la dosis en un ml (la siguiente semana creo subiré a 4ml/L) ya que empecé a observar un poco de decolora miento de algunas hojas aunque también sobre fertilizar es algo que debo de tomar en cuenta. Seguiré haciendo LST quizá un par de sesiones más porque estoy seguro que no falta mucho para entrar a floración y espero establecer una buena estructura antes de ese momento para que empiece q crecer hacia arriba, espero salga bien; es mi primer LST 😃 Sigan este diario semana a semana 😃

What do you think about these first days? The humidity is not much stable but I’m planning to buy a humidifier in the next week.

Been tying these girls down over the week. Trying to spread them out more. They are looking healthy at least. No issues. No fungus gnats or any critters at all. Happy with it right now

Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. No more than 3 leaves removed per plant, per day to avoid stress. ______________________________________ Can't wait to start upgrading the quality of my journals and to hear you all's feedback! Sorry for being so hectic the past week or so if anyone has been keeping up with this 😂 For the time being, I'm currently running all three sets of my plants in my 4x4 tent. It's running all three of my fans, both lights and has the carbon filter system and humidifier hooked up to it as well. I basically have the other 4x2 just sitting as a shell for the moment. Either planning to save it for climate control when curing the first harvest or sell it to invest in another Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED or equivalent and possibly another 4x4 tent. I have started a grow chart that's still a little sketchy but if nothing else having it here hells me keep up with it that much better. [April 24th @ 3pm] Plant 1- (11in.) 2- (9in.) 3- (14.75in.) 4- (13in.) 5- (10.75in.) [April 26th @ 1:30pm] Plant 1- (11in.) 2- (9.5in.) 3- (18in.) 4- (14in.) 5- (11.5in.) [April 30th @ 3:30pm] Plant 1- (12.25in.) 2- (10.5in.) 3- (25.75in.) 4- (16.75in.) 5- (12in.) ______________________________________ The most current batch of nutrient mixes for was made this morning about (2am 4/29/20) for the 1st and second set of plants. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! I hope you enjoy the diary anyway in spite of the fact. I'm loving the look of the buds and everything seems to be going great. Only a few months to go! 😎

Harvest time

My pictures seem to have re organized themselves, just give me a few here and I'll get the full rundown . So this week ( day 21-23) was MAJOR defoliating. What my first step is to start taking the largest fan leaves . My next step is about halfway through the canopy I'll stop and then I'll start working on the very bottom of the plant now at this stage in the game anything that doesn't even have a nice Bud site so a nice white hair sticking bud at the very bottom like shoots I'll just cut them right off. This is the first steps of a main line but I don't complete the actual full main line I probably will try it sometime soon just not this time. So you take off anything that is a small shoot coming off the main stems and then your next step is . STOP. It might be a minute it might be 10 minutes, 20 min , it might be an hour or more ( my tip is don't wait a full day I try and do it within the first 12 hours of starting it) but I always stop just to look at what I've done sometimes if you get going too quickly you can end up doing way too much. Stand to talk to canopy and look what sites are getting hit by light what places are these families beneficial to use for photosynthesis. Anything that is not doing as much good will be taken off and at that point I'll probably do another you know 5-10 minutes of defoliation maybe take one or two more shoots at the bottom to ensure what's left there is a huge fat cola that's going to give you those huge buds . After this you're going to want to do your best to support those stems that are going to hold a lot more weight as if the plant would have been with all the shoots so you're going to want to just make sure that you have staking in place or some sort of support system to keep them from flopping over a breaking them in the future because that's one thing yeah it's great but then it'll get to a point where oh no stuff falling over and then it's just more hassle than it is helpful. Sun Dec 27 Witnessing a true Stretch heading into week 2 of flower. Hoping to keep Veg Nutrients high this week, and be prepared to switch/transition into the Flowering formulas at the sight of “Hairs” being formed on bud sites. -switched the direction of my light, to make the most efficient use of the light hood itself. Sticking with the diagonal set-up in the tent. Mon; chemistry is listed above ***plant was originally super-cropped between the 3rd & 4th node, there’s not much room underneath*** 4th / 5th node might be worth considering next time. - soil / sand-coating seems really dry. This 2nd week will see feeding every other day. Nutes will remain as is Until there’s changes ** Uv-B was brought to my attention a few weeks ago, (thx DoDrugs420) and I am going to run a side by side test on it. Later this week I plan to install a 18” uv-b tube above one of the two plants, for the duration of Flower. *** Working with stakes again is kinda fun. But I also remember nearly poking my eye out several times with them. Safety glasses and Marking the Ends of the Stakes is a really good method of preventing accidents *** Wed Dec 30th - Food includes Unsulphured Molasses tonight. Still including it every third watering/feeding -Going to wait one more feed before adding some bloom nutes. Crazy growth and activity at the bud sites. And no groups of gangly hairs Thurs Dec 31st “happy new year all !” Next feed will feature half Bloom half Veg nutes and will be on Jan 2nd -Uv-B bulb installed ~ 14” from angled canopy... -running it on a reduced schedule right now. 2 x 3 hours per nite till I get to see how the leaves like it Recommended **12 hr CMH / LED etc. = 8 hr Uv-B** - Uv-B Bulb found at a Pet Store ~ $34 cdn and a simple black light fixture ~ $33 got it up and running. UV-B light is Not to be viewed... it’s dangerous to human eyes / skin. Jan 1. Moving to Bloom food! New growth and the arrival of Hairs on both plants will see me start to change their diet. Tonight the first Bloom food will be given and the transition will be over 3 feeds. 1/3, 2/3 and full bloom recommendation. (Opposite with Medi-One) 2/3, 1/3, 0 -plants had many branches that needed to be repositioned and LST applied. Canopy was releveled. Cleaned out some useless leaves from the undercarriage -what a great way to start the new year. Having a tremendous grow... -going to slowly start pulling back on the Rapid Start, now that we are entering true flower stage. (4ml/gal down to 1.0-1.5ml/g by the end of week 6) Same goes for CaliMagic. I’ve taken it higher than previously, (5ml vs 2ml ) and the results are obvious. Time to let these numbers drop a bit, make room for Bloom.

Week 12 everything looking good ...still no fade in the leaves been flushing for like 12 13 days now ...I think I put too much dry amendment's in my soil ...but it cool just ran like 20 liters or more off water tru my 5 gallon pot untill I seen the ppm get real low ..so should be good now ..gonna leave in dark for 24 to 72 hours when they dry up a bit.....as I said this was my first grow I learned alot from it ...can wait for the rest ..I'll keep u updated on the weight the smoke everything...once chopped..

Die buds sind richtig fest und sie riechen sehr lecker

The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).

Hey Family. These 3 finally got the chop and wow where they gorgeous. The sweet smell and red haired coated flowers came out perfectly. The flowers and the perfect density and have a spicy yet earthiness smell to them. Over all an easy strain to grow and a fun one to watch.

Beginning of week 7, It’s always cool making it to the point where you can smell a strains unique flavors. The scent is still only minor, but coming in. Any LST at this point is just small re-adjustments to branches that have already been tied down. But overall it has its final shape. While smaller than I had originally hoped, going to do what I can to get these buds as fat as possible! At day 47, seems the runt of the litter is finally showing some formed buds, as well as some purple tint. The plant that started mutated, while still odd looking, has the frostiest leaves and largest branches so far. It’s now the end of week 7, time has been flying by the past couple months. The plants are mostly their final shape and structure, now it’s time to watch the bids pack on weight. The one runt plant is maybe a week or two behind the others, but I’m keeping it going because why not!

Getting it ready for the SCROG

The temperature is better with ac, took me sometime to get humidity high. I think I gave it double the food it needed. And I think the hlg 100w v2 3000k was too far away, I set it on 18" for the 2nd week. I notice a lot of yellowing and light vibrant green everywhere and the tip o leaves crawling downwards. And I think they are asking for help. Please help
