My first Dinafem grows and what an outcome :). I got King Kong - the biggest cola I have ever grown. It yielded 53 grams and I will update smoke report in a week time I guess. Both Purple Buds and Industrial Plant CBD should be ready. I am currently undertaking some pre-smoke report testing :) and it ain't bad my friends a all :)0000

She is beginning to swell nicely now for a sativa... lots of white pistils and tricomes are starting to come out. Still no smell but she looks great.

What a ride, Made some mistakes and missteps along the way but I learned so much about these plants and the intense care and attention that goes into growing quality herb 😵 Next grow I think I will stake branches instead of the scrog so I can easily reach/rotate or lift plants. I definitely need to focus on growing fewer larger branches off each plant because trimming larfy/airy popcorn nugs from all these little branches that popped up during flower is no fun😡. Probably should take my time more with the next one, I received a Dr Grinspoon seed so that obviously will force me to extended the flower time, might go longer in veg too removing more leaves/branches before flipping. Overall besides the trimming hell I've been in for the last week This was so much fun and I can't wait to go again and improve on my methods, try new ones and learn even more 😁 Thanks for checking out my first Diary, FatalFarmer

The topped branches are growing back nicely! Selective defoliation to allow for better light penetration. Watered with Real Growers Recharge and Fish Sh!t after top dressing with a tiny bit of Happy Frog fertilizer. Will begin flowering nutrients once she starts throwing more hairs. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! The prefect plant if you want something fruity with a short flowering time! This plant explodes in thc and even considering she was not in optimal conditions. I had some bugs, trips to be precise, so i applied neem, but the concentration was too high so i burned some leaves and stems 🤦 Finally the yield was highly affected due to the above mentioned, still the buds are amazing, highly covered in snow, specially from the smaller clones i had, the suggestion is to use support to ensure the plant can manage the buds

25.01. F23 The stretch is now completely finished, with the plants standing at around 82 cm. Bud development is progressing well, with clear improvements in structure and density. Unfortunately, powdery mildew remains an issue. Affected leaves are removed daily to limit further spread. In addition, the plants are treated twice per week with Purolyt to keep spore pressure as low as possible.

And in to flower mode this girl goes, and i think she will be the more stable from all of the 4 testers going, she is vigorous half size plant, en comparing to the rest, and an excellent hybrid, these by the looks could very well be released some point this next year or so, she is performing like a queen !!! Buds are getting heavy 🤪 maybe a bit to heavy, harvest week next Friday 👌😁 starting to see a lot of amaber on these girls.... starting to foxtail alittle don’t know if it’s in the jeans or something I’ve Done other than that everything is A ok I’m on my way to an a good harvest ❤️

Letting soil dry before harvest, th strain is underestimated by growers, great buds and smells like cherry cola, they loves cold temperatures.

Dear diary, Week 7 has brought us closer to flower. Despite some variations in their development, they continue to progress steadily. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 46: Provided a feeding session with a nutrient strength of 1.64ms and a pH level of 5.7. After tying down the tops yesterday, the plants exhibited upward growth again. To maintain uniformity, I re-tied down G.C #2, allowing the other plants to catch up in length. ⏰ Day 47: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.6. This also is the day that marks the final topping session, bringing the total number of tops to 16 for each plant. The plants have responded well to the previous training, and I'm eager to observe their continued growth with the mainlining technique. ⏰ Day 48: I provided the plants with a feeding containing a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.7. ⏰ Day 49: During the evening feeding session, I maintained a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.6. Additionally, I removed another set of fan leaves to optimize light distribution among the tops. ⏰ Day 50: The plants received a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and a pH level of 5.8 ⏰ Day 51: During the evening feeding session I provided the plants with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. ⏰ Day 52: Administered a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. To ensure optimal light exposure for all the tops, I removed the last set of old fan leaves and did some more low-stress training on G.C #2 and minor adjustments on #3 to align their heights more closely with the other plants in the tent.

I’m very happy with the buds. I really didn’t think she would fill in the runs from her stretch but she has almost solid colas and an awesome calyx to leaf ratio.

Start of week 5! Plants are doing great! Still some P & K deficiencies showing, but overall the bud development is phenomenal on the blueberries and is coming along nicely on the super lemon haze. I am still feeding an extra 2 liters to the Slh, this time at full dosage of part A & B, this seems to have helped with this past week (4). The blueberry are super sticky and smell amazing!

7/12 Soil was a little damp so I watered lightly only what looked like it needed it. Dr. Zymes seems to have no negative effects. Plants just look super clean. I still saw some patches of PM and I only had the free samples so I'm going to have to use another product in conjunction to treat this. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the Dr. Zymes. HAD MY VIDEO AND TONS OF PICS UPLOADED BUT THIS SITE WOULDN'T ALLOW ME TO SAVE. I'LL UPLOAD THE REST LATER "IF" THIS EVEN ALLOWS ME TO SAVE. Went back over at three and watered the girls. Everything looks amazing. Trying to upload video now. 7/13 Didn't water this morning. Plants look fantastic. Went over at 4:30pm. Things looked great. Definitely stretching. I took some good pictures. Didn't water as plants seemed VERY happy and soil still had a little moisture. I gave them a touch of kindness which means I gave them a tiny bit of water to hold them over until morning. I know this is not a good practice to get into but I didn't want to come back to wilting plants. The little seedlings are turning more lime green (which isn't good) and have some yellow leaves. They have recycled soil from last grow. May need to feed more. I went through them and moths flew everywhere. We have a major brown tail moth problem here. I know I just sprayed Dr. Zymes but I'm going to have to spray BT. I must've seen at least half a dozen moths. On just those three tiny plants. Still struggling with PM. 7/14 Went to the garden briefly this morning. It rained last night and was drizzling while I was there so I obviously didn't water. Its still sprinkling and I'll be over there later to check. Plants are really stretching into "the asparagus" stage as I like to call it lol. What will eventually be a bunch of colas stretch into what I think looks like asparagus spears. That may be part of the reason why some of the leaves turn yellow and die in the lower middle canopy during this time. Everything looks great though and I certainly have plenty of leaves. I looked at last year's diary at this date and got some relief noticing the same things happening last year at the same time of year. UPDATE: Went back to the grow as the "rain" and "thunder showers" weren't producing much water. I checked the soil and it seemed to have dried out some (more on smaller bags) and hadn't FULLY watered the plants. I watered lightly. I listened and I could hear the water work it's way down the medium. Even if it pours tonight plants will be ready for a feed tomorrow. The 3 little ones in buckets outside especially. I have work to do tomorrow. 7/15 It's overcast today and looks like rain. Forecast called for a nice sunny day. Anyway I fed two gallons to nutes to the garden and did some slight defoliation. I had to hurry as I had a doctor's appointment. I have branches that need to be tied down and plants need to be cleaned up a bit. If it's not raining I may do a preventative BT spray. We have a HORRENDOUS outbreak of brown tail moths. I don't think the bother cannabis but they are poisonous and the rash that develops is hell. 90 degrees at 6:30 plants weren't totally dry but the top inch or so was so I gave them a good drink. Took some pictures and a video I'll upload when I have a better connection. Cop was watching me. Good thing I'm in a legal state and my grow is totally on point. 7/16 No water this morning. Soil was still wet. Plants are looking good. Will update more later on. Defoliation, pruning and spraying are on the agenda. Made a video and took more pictures but internet is spotty and doesn't want to upload. Went back and watered lightly before a massive thunder storm dropped sheet rain for like an hour. Internet is still slow so I'll have to wait till tomm to upload. 7/17 No water. Brown tail moth rash is driving me crazy. Plants still stretching and look overall healthy. Defoliated some this morning. Will update more later. Went back over and gave a little water before it began to downpour. 7/18 Raining with what looks like more rain in the forecast. Good. Hopefully will help me lower the pH a little. I didn't take pictures or even go in the cage this morning. This brown tail moth rash has me scared lol. It really sucks. Makes poison ivy seem pleasant. When rain stops BT will be sprayed.
