Day 130 – Harvest Day | Sweet Seeds – Gorilla Girl Today marks the official harvest of our Gorilla Girl by Sweet Seeds – exactly 130 days from seed. The plant finished strong, with dense, resin-covered buds and a very intense aroma that exploded in the final days. Based on her structure and the weight of the colas, we’re expecting a solid yield. Final Techniques: Last 2 weeks: Only clean, purified water (flush stage) Last 3 days: Complete darkness Twice during the dark period: Placed 2 kg of ice directly on the soil The effect was noticeable — right after the ice melted, the smell intensified dramatically, and the trichomes looked even more frosty and swollen. Throughout the entire grow, she was fed with the Xpert Nutrients line, and the results speak for themselves — healthy growth, strong structure, and top-quality flowers. Big thanks to Sweet Seeds for the outstanding genetics and to Xpert Nutrients for reliable support all the way from seed to harvest. All pictures are of Citrus Farmer S1'S One plant seems further along, and is what I am looking for. All reek of orange peel. All plants were flowered early, and are small. Growth seems slightly slow. But the orange peel is there. I wish I had my pollen right now. It didn't work out this time. But I still have mom. 😈

So far it seems to be fine even if the high humidity worries me even if the temperatures are still high then they have stopped growing and will finally focus on the flowers and slowly we recover these small deficiencies

This is the start of week 9 and she is doing GREAT!! Pistols are turning nice and pretty 😍! Buds are fattening nicely, and the thing im most proud of, no sighs of defiency!! She is a very good plant to grow. And is going to give me some very nice smoke!!

Aug 12: Ideally would have left this go for another week or two but pest pressure (aphids) meant it couldn't wait. Chopped. Easy and fun to grow variety with purple fan leaves developing about week 9. Buds remained mainly green with purplish hues. Nice plant structure and pretty decent coating of resin. Overall pleased with the outcome and would recommend to others who like a unique odor and reliable strain from FastBuds.

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis Je n'effectue pas de rempotage je décide que le pot de 11 litres sera son pot définitif car la plante mesure déjà 1 mètre et je n'ai malheureusement pas la place pour géré des plantes qui dépasse 150 centimètres Si j'effectue un rempotage dans un pot plus grand elle les dépassera allègrement Cette plante fera toute sa floraison sur mon balcon (elle y est depuis 15 jours) ce sera donc une véritable culture hybride Elle aura effectué la quasi totalité de sa croissance en chambre de culture

Sat 7/8: - Transplanted a runted Purple Lemonade auto into a small plastic pot (1/2 litre), from 3 gal fabric pot. Put it back in the veg tent where there is more room. It is wasting space in the flowering tent. Suspect over watering early on as issue. - Shifted a Grapefruit auto from the veg tent to the flowering tent to replace the Purple Lemonade. A little early, so it is on a pedestal to reach the canopy. - Planted a Fastberry and a Gorilla Cookie auto. - Harvested 20g wet from the CBD20:1 (8w). Sun 8/8: - Changed light cycle from 18/6 to 20/4. - Fed plants, varying mixture by plant age. CBD20:1 is now only on water at every feed. - Tied main stem down on Grapefruit auto (3w). - Set up endoscope camera to capture the Grapefruit response to LST. - Continued lollipopping Strawberry Pie (5w) and Kosher Cake(4w). Tues 10/8: - both the Gorilla Cookie and the Fastberry seeds popped. I’ve put them under icecream containers in the veg tent so they don’t dry out too quickly. Wed 11/8: - Small targeted watering with no feed. Thurs 12/8: - feed plants that needed to be watered. Sat 14/8: - Harvested the remaining CBD20:1 at 9 weeks, 73g wet - Harvested undersized Lemon Pie at 8 weeks, 26g wet. - Planted a Gelato auto and a Wedding Cheesecake auto from Fast Buds. I did this beautiful girl a toping, depilation, and LST, she feels good.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. I’ve changed to a 12/12 light cycle, removed a few big fan leaves, and tied 2 of the plants tops down..

This was a pretty explosive week for growth! These girls really took off this week! I have been topping off the res with just plain RO water this week after the change and for this run I have kept the strength of the nutrients pretty low and have been hanging around 0.6 EC, I don't see much of a need to increase at all. I am going to continue to keep a lower EC and just watch the plants. I think last run I may have fed a little hot a time or two so gonna go low and slow this run and it has been working out so far. I will be putting my trellis net up either today or tomorrow because I think I am really going to need it this run. I noticed yesterday that it looks like these girls are showing signs of entering the flowering phase so I need to get set up and be prepared for the stretch! I'm getting a little nervous about the height of the plants as well because they are growing fairly tall pretty quick, but hopefully the net will help a bit. 3/11 Week 11 a day early due to visitors day 28 of Flower Her buds building and coning as any proud female would like. No signs of any deficiencies and the tips are ok so leaving all nuets as is. Halfway to projected harvest date according to Fast Buds, we believe them. Having some humidity issues due to our funky weather. Humidity running higher than is safe on lights out , 60-70%, so installed one small dehumidifier but getting a larger one today to add to it. That is pretty much it, hope for better pics later! Hubby just looked at the calendar wrong 😏 Fix what I can sorry folks thought it looked further along than that. pics

Only few pics on this week---- see ya and the first photos of eleven roses. These two clones made from outdoor plant was smaller but the resins on the buds are enormous !

I'm very happy with this weeks progress. They transitioned very well to the garden, which I'm chocking up to the row cover. They didn't need any water due to the thunderstorm we had last night, but I did make a ring around the base of each plant and gave them about 1-2 TBSP of the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend fertilizer. They also got their tomato cages.

Everything is pretty much the same this week the purple punch is doing up numbers, the zkittles is rite behind it with the gelato struggling. Already germinated some seeds for the summer grow hope the gelato grows better out doors
