Start of week 5 today, everything seems to be going great! The Gelato OG is by far the biggest plant of the bunch so far but they all seem to be taking well to LST, HST , Topping & defoliation! Will be going in the flower tent as soon as the other ladies harvest so they will probably have atleast 2 to 3 more weeks of veg!

So it's time to harvest Russian machine guns. The plants were high because we pulled them with a lamp and did not use LST. The final product was removed on the shelf of the refrigerator.00

***** Week 4 Veg - December 26/20 to Jan 1/21 ***** The girls were transplanted on Christmas day, after three weeks in the solo cups from seed. They had been growing well in cups but I must admit that I feel the root mass should have been larger after that time period. I am working with a new nutrient line that I have not used before and have not been adding microbes to the feed schedule thus far.........or hardly any. I feel this is why the root system, while looking healthy, is looking too small. Over the next couple weeks will ensure they get lots of microbes in the 1 gal pots to fill those up with roots before moving to 5 gal pots.......the last upsize for this girls. Counting my weeks for finish I am wishing that I had started these girls a couple of weeks sooner so they may not get to veg in the 5 gal pots for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower. For these girls it is still pretty early on in their lives and not many exciting things to happen the first month of seedlings. We have done one upsize and another to go. Keep the feeding in line and follow the week 1 veg feeding for these girls, bringing up the ppm closer to 700ppm range. Overall, happy with first couple of weeks of veg. Need to get more roots going, we will, but otherwise just give them the time to mature and take it easy......they will come along😀 She is looking very nice and even so far and keeps catching my eye when I open the tent😂😎 Little more detail....... Dec 26/20, Day 22 Veg - Dry out day after being transplanted yesterday. - Pots were still heavy. - Let the microbes in the media do their thing and start pushing root growth harder than what has been happening. Dec 27/20, Day 23 Veg - Gave the girls a little splash of the left over nutes from two days ago to add a little oxygen and they can take the extra microbes and bacteria right now😀 - 200ml with Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L = 650ppm and 5.7pH - They are really happy today!!!! Loving the bigger pot to let those valuable roots expand into nice fluffy new coco and soak up the nutrients👍 - This girl has always had wider fan leaf blades than the other two girls. She is shorter but wider.......hell, kind of like me Dec 28/20, Day 24 Veg - feeding day today with more water to get some runoff from the 1 gal pots. They have not been watered to runoff yet.😀 - 0.5L each girl with the full line for this week. No other additives, just the IPP line = 700ppm and 5.7pH - seems a little high to jump from around 300ppm to 700 but will follow the companies recommendations👍 Dec 29/20, Day 25 Veg - Dry out day. - they are happy today......not much to add otherwise today Dec 30/20, Day 26 Veg - going to give them another day without watering. - I feel like I should be watering today but I am not as I am not sure how much moisture they will have consumed and the roots need some air to breath so holding off. - think it is a CalMag only feeding tomorrow. Dec 31/20, Day 27 Veg - feed day today since it has been a couple of days. - 500ml with CalMag @ 2ml, Gold Storm @ 7ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, Blackstorm @ 2ml, Vitamin B @ 0.5ml = 525ppm and 5.7pH - keeping the humic and fluvic acids going in, plus Kelp and CalMag👍 - the girls are happy and seeing forward movement everyday, looking for more aggressive though from the girls. Jan 1/21, Day 28 Veg - doing very well......like really well💪 - didn’t push them today and left them alone for watering, pots of course still had some weight and I didn’t expect them to need today. - Optic Folier Overgrow given today. Folier spray to give them just an extra boost since everything is otherwise dialed in👍 Finishing off the week very strong!!!!!! They have been looking very healthy and perky everyday. The roots are a concern and will be taking it easy on the nutrients for another week yet and keep up the microbes and beneficials. Will get them in line......my hope is too keep their time in the 1 gals down to two weeks max......maybe 10 days?? Looking pretty good ETS as we move through the first upsize and get veg going here. She has been very steady right from the start and continues with steady growth in early veg. Her branching is growing laterally and keeping short node spacing in her growth, perfect!......again, still pretty early on but its all good so far😎

I'm going away for 30 days about a week into this grow. I'm going to automate weeks 1 through 5 by using the Blumat watering system along with the automated fan from AC Infinity. Hopefully, these will keep things going while I'm gone. I've never used the Blumat products before and I'm excited to see their potential. If I succeed, I'll return to happy 5-week old plants. If not, I'll have to start a new grow...which is what I was going to do anyway. I have nothing to lose but a couple of seeds. Let's get this automated grow started. Day 1 - I placed the seeds directly in a fist-sized clump of Coast of Maine Seed Starter soil that was then placed in a 3-gallon pot full of Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. This will ensure the seedling doesn't get exposed to the nutrient-rich soil too soon. I set the light 2 feet above the top of the pots so they have room to grow into the 18" to 12" range. I also set the light strength to 60% during germination. The temperature in the tent remained 75 degrees and humidity was 70%. I also covered the soil over the germinating seeds with mason jars to act as humidity domes. Day 4 - Both pots sprouted this morning. I immediately removed the mason jar humidity domes. I also increased the light to 70% strength and installed the Blumat watering system to help me keep things growing while I'm gone.

This plant has developed very nicely without any issues and so I decided to transplant the 10 plants I'll be growing with the complete biotabs organic line, I Transplanted this lady on day 39 since seed and I've prepared the 50L pot using 5 Slow release tabs, using 25g for every 5L of soil of startrex and sprinkled mycotrex in the transplant hole just a couple of grams maybe 3, and then I watered the soil once the transplant was done, I watered applying to the water 1ml per liter of orgatrex and 1g per liter of bactrex

Another week has passed and this lady seems to have recovered from last week's sudden problems. I just kept feeding with clear water, I suspect low PH and my solution fixed it. I also raised the light a little more, this SP 3000 is a true beast of a light, and especially the Kush in the middle couldn't handle it that well. Thank you @MarsHydroLED I did some final defoliating, only bundled up leaves and leaves covering major bud sites. This Orange Hill Special is something else though, Im happy to grow this, she is pretty and sophisticated in all, almost majestic. The buds are speckled with orange hairs, the shape of each like a round ball of ice cream. She was pretty from seedling on and looking back, I would have loved some offspring of this pheno. She is a thrill and no signs of male parts on this one, although it can happen with this strain. So glad I have some more seeds and cant wait to put a tentful of this. Don't let its low score dissuade you, yes there is a chance she hermies but when she doesn't my my my... Check em out here @DutchPassion_Official She smells of orange and tangerine with a very strong hazy undertone. This combination promises a great smoke and frankly, I cant wait. Day 29 since I first saw her cotyies...2nd day of Week 5 and the little Dr. shows growth at what seems to be a quicker rate. I'll envisoning some colas from LST and perhaps I top one or two of those just to get more colas, whatever it takes to fill the damned net. Well of course these are just plans. Continue fertigation twice a day., inflow 1200 and run-off 1000 units of EC. Day 30 (10/10/2019) just fertigate her for the first time in the day, inflow and run-off are normal concentrations for the stage of growth. Day 31 One month and a day already... the plant has shown herself very stubborn, growing very slowy but healthy, I'll tame her eventually. Day 32 (12-10-2019) the little Dr seems to have kept up the growth pace, I see her growing remarkably more vigorously...👌 Fertigations, twice a day, getting 1200 uSm/cm in the run-off. Day 33 (13-10-2019) When I get an extra buck I'll change the extraction fan, Temperature is getting high inside the tent for this time of the year. 450 W (real power) from DIY led lights raise the temperature quite a few degrees in a 0.80x0.80x1.60 m tent. Day 34 last day of the 5th week. She's doing fine.

The development of the buds is lookin' great tho'.The production of the trichomes also lookin' damn frosty ❄️. I'm kinda curious of how much the crop will be 😁. Stay tuned 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼

Completely back into Veg again growing slowly for some most are thriving! Had around 20+ seeds off a zkittles and chocolate skunk will be using them indoors on my next cupboard grow!

START WEEK Day 88 04/03/22 +I think maybe the video is the best way to show my garden. Exposure is all crazy in tent. +I have sort of been on cruise control. Just watching the girls grow. Actually beginning to see some trichomes appear as a silver haze ( hence Platinum OG) on some of the leaves. EXCITING!😬 +As they grow, the differences and techniques on each plant show up. One plant was slow from the start and is just beginning to flower. Partly because it has become eclipsed. +I have been "leaf picking" thru last week and will continue this week. I can't seem to keep up with the vegetation. I am beginning to get the hang of it. +I will do a complete Reservoir change this week. +ppm at or just above 1000 +pH 5.9 +I think the one plant has almost stopped stretching +light is 100% and 24" from main canopy. Some kolas are as close as 16". Although by my design, I can see the importance of having all plants similar size and even canopy. THINKING OUT LOUD ?Do I remove the largest fan leaves? ?How large should the buds be now? They are about Quarter size. ?How far down and what grow should I remove? ?Thinking, down the road, about flush and nutrient schedule? Darkness before harvest?
