Week 9 ive stopped feeding and now I've begin flushing my first harvest is fastly approaching I had high standards I watched countless videos and looked at yalls diaries I want them big dense nugs I got lost In the sauce n almost forgot to enjoy the process this will be the first time I successfully growed anything let alone cannabis I enjoy the anonymous of being able. crazy week found drain gnats which explains the green hue of some of my plants the larve are attacking the roots raising the p.h. and the diffecencies are showing in the leaves being lighter and or brown dots on the leaves. using mosquito dunks and spraying neem oil washing the roots to help these ladies out. also im doing things different with the soil vs dwc, i havent done much if any defoliating with potted plants just letting them grow only mainlined once and since in flower very light if any defoliating. any questions comments information feel free to ask or inform im open to critque

Day 64 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 11-19 degrees and the humidity is around 65%. I started into the tenth week with an intense check of the main buds. Some of the trichomes are milky but the most are still clear. Maybe I‘m wrong. Some days ago I could spot some amber trichomes but the flowers expanded and it‘s not possible to find anymore amber ones. Watered 500ml pure rainwater. Day 65 🌤️☁️🌥️☁️ Today Tropicana needs a rest. She just want to sit and do nothing except waiting for sunshine warming her heart. In the evening she asked for water, potting soil lost enough weight. 600ml with 60ml light fermented flower and herb tee. ~100 ml drainage with PH 6,2. In the main flower it was possible to find a small amount of amber trichomes. Day 66 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-21 degrees, humidity 45-65%. This morning I understood, that Tropicana was not thirsty yesterday, she need to breath oxygen with her roots to feel happy. The beautiful smell is way not so intense since last night. I missed the strong smell when I opened the door to our balcony in the early morning. So no watering yesterday would be better. And my banana peel tee is not free of nitrogen, same with the herb and flower tee. Less is more will be written in my diary in the next days (weeks). Watching Trichome TV: I see more amber and I see that she needs more time after all this stress which I made for her. She told me that she is not only sick of water, she told me, that she hate to be moved all the time, too. Every move from A to B she would loose tiny roots and this would stress her a lot. When I checked the moisture I spotted too many of this root fly castings. Their mamas and papas had their orgie about a week ago and now they are eating the mulch layer roots as if there will be no morning. This is not Tropicanas day. But the sun is shining and tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully with a nose full of this tasty fruity and woody citrus smell. Day 67 🌧️☁️☁️☁️ 13-19 degrees, humidity 42-80%. This morning the smell was more intensive like yesterday but still not like before. The leafs show the first signs of fading and I‘m very nervous. This night will fall a lot of rain for several hours. But a part of our balcony is canopied, so Tropicana will be a little bit protected by me this night. I don‘t want to make another mistake, so I use this possibility. Anyway the plants are always wet after a strong rain, it‘s just a little canopy, but not soaked with water. Day 68 🌧️☁️⛅️🌤️ 15-21 degrees and the humidity is 74-85%. Tropicana feels better. The smell this morning was much more intensive then the days before. Day 69 ⛅️🌤️🌥️☁️ 15-22 degrees, humidity 46-89%. Tropicanas flowers are swelling and while she is maturing her smell is getting more intense and complex. Right now mandarin and an earthy woody smell, sometimes even a bit sour like a mixture of pineapple and lime juice. It‘s possible to find new colors in the flowers. There’s purple and pink, orange and ocher brown appeared. Tropicanas main flower looks like the harvest time is near, but the trichomes are still clear and just started to get milky. Anyway she is incredible fast, especially if to remember the extrem conditions with minimal temperature around ten degrees in the early mornings. Day 70 🌧️☁️☁️🌧️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 63-94%. In the next days we will have humid thunderstorm weather. There is even a warning for huge hailstones for tomorrow. So there is a risk of damage and mold because of high humidity. I will have an eye on this. Tropicana looks healthy, so I‘m not worrying too much anymore.

Was supposed to update my diaries yesterday but literally forgot lol #edibles but they’re flowering nicely and stretching as they go! They’re truly loving life under the ts1000 can’t wait to see what the next week brings!

Tangie'Matic is showing nice bud development this week. I backed down a little on the Recharge this week, but still giving twice the suggested amount. Also still giving her Mammoth P. Will start with MegaCrop (Greenleaf) nutrients later this week. 👍

Week 8: Flowering Stage Rising Temperatures and Weather Challenges The temperatures are expected to rise slightly this week, but intermittent thunderstorms and heavy rain are also forecasted. This unpredictable weather presents a challenge, but I remain hopeful for continued growth. Snail Attack I had been leaving the plants outside overnight, but during a late-night check, I found three giant slugs feasting on my Gorilla Cookies buds. These damn snails just won't give up. I'm seriously considering installing some kind of automatic deterrent system. Feeding and Watering Consistency The amount of water and nutrients remains unchanged. Each plant continues to receive 3 liters of nutrient solution in their 11-liter pots to prevent salt buildup and ensure optimal growth. Growth Observations Banana Purple Punch and Blue Dream: Both strains seem to have halted their vertical growth. They are now fully focused on bud development. Tangie: This plant is still vigorously growing with new shoots appearing everywhere. Tangie seems perfect for low-stress training (LST) and could probably handle a well-timed topping without issues. I had to do some light defoliation to make sure everything receives enough light. Gorilla Cookies: While it’s not growing as aggressively as before, it is concentrating on flowering. Despite this, it continues to gain some height. Looking Ahead As the flowering stage progresses, I'm eager to see how the plants adapt to the changing weather conditions and how they continue to develop. Despite the challenges, the plants are showing resilience, and the buds are looking promising. Update 18.07: Pest Problems Bad news, growmies. During my daily inspection today, I discovered some unwelcome pests. Some leaves on all the plants had white or silver dots, which I suspect are caused by thrips. The Banana Purple Punch plant was particularly affected, with numerous black dots on the top buds, likely aphids. I had to remove two small buds 😞. To combat this, I brought all the plants inside for a thorough shower and removed any affected leaves. I then sprayed them with a light neem oil solution, taking care to avoid the buds to prevent affecting their taste. The Banana Purple Punch plant has been isolated to prevent further infestation. I'm open to any advice or suggestions on how to handle this situation more effectively. What else do you think I should do? Update 21.07 The heat has been intense lately, with temperatures soaring to around 31°C (88°F). Despite this, my garden is showing remarkable resilience. After battling thrips and aphids, my plants are bouncing back. The Tangie, Blue Dream, and Gorilla Cookies no longer display any signs of thrip damage on their leaves. It seems the light neem oil solution has done the trick. However, my Banana Purple Punch remains a bit of a mystery. This strain appears particularly sensitive to nutrients, even though all my plants receive the same care and feeding. While the other plants look lush and vibrant, the Banana Purple Punch shows some troubling symptoms. Some leaves exhibit early signs of nitrogen toxicity, while others curl upwards with no apparent nutrient burn at the tips. Additionally, the large fan leaves are yellowing. Despite these issues, the buds are frosty and thriving. I recently checked the trichomes and found that most are still clear, even on my Blue Dream, which already has a promising main bud. It's clear that patience will be rewarded with this beauty 😍

Ok guys so for this grow I'm using 7 dwcr 20l pots with a 20l reservoir water temp is 20c air temp is 24.5c humidity is 64% I'm using canna coco a&b nutrients 200ppm led lights 2x1000w. Now for the plants I'm using cuttings from two plants I've got the sunset sherbet and the gelato 41 as you can see in my pictures I've also tried a coco mix 70/30 for 2 of my plants (one of each) just as an experiment as I've not grown in coco before let's see what we get Day 2 All clones are now starting to have a nice light green colour to the fan leaves and are now standing correctly. I've added one scoop of great white root enhancer to my nutrients to give the roots a better ability to take in the stuff it needs. All in all not looking bad but still early days Day 3 Now the clones are starting to thrive in their environment I've added some mycorrhizac for root growth,liquid silicone for added growth to overall plant,cal mag strengthens stems,and some fulvic acid to give them that extra boost. All clones are looking well however I can notice a big difference between the ones in the dwc and the ones in coco. I'm watering the coco whenever it feels dry roughly about 2l a day with run off. Still early days but I'm impressed at how well the clones are bouncing back after being shipped overnight Day 4 New pictures uploaded. Just general garden management at the moment Day 7 Changed the water in my reservoir cleaned the filter and outlet pipe. Added nutrients to same scale as previously used and ph is now 6.5 backed the lights off and turned on both veg and bloom functions. While changing the water I noticed a few roots starting to show out of the net pots will upload some pictures soon didn't have my camera on me at the time. Coco experiment is going well been feeding g once a day roughly 2 l with run off. They are noticeably smaller than the ones in the DWC but are still growing nice

She actually grew ANOTHER 31cm this week! She is totally out of headroom now, her top cola will be above the lights in a couple of days 😂 Fastbuds do say it can reach 1.4M... 😁 She is also looking quite bushy, I'm guessing this is a result of the earlier FIMing/topping on multiple sites. This may also have lengthened her veg time, but that's ok. I like to grow monsters 😁 😜 Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. Day 71 - Starting week 11 and still not much going on. Gave her water and nutes yesterday and just letting her fatten up as much as possible before chopping. From the looks of her, she’s still got a couple weeks but starting to show quite a bit of cloudy trichs but still quite a few clear. Day 72 - No major issues still, she is definitely foxtailing and not looking like the buds are gonna be as fat and dense and they could be but thinking it was either because of the heat we had for a bit or could of been from stress when I did the heavy defoliation or just a combo of them both but she’s for sure stinky and sticky and should still produce a good amount. I did give her two gallons of water and nutes today and thinking about just straight water from here on out. Day 73 - Still nothing new today but I am noticing that most of the colas aren’t really fattening up much but continuing to foxtail so might end up chopping her this weekend, especially since she’s pretty much all cloudy trichs in there with just a few sporadic clear and ambers. Gonna give her a few more days to see what happens and decide what to do this weekend. Day 74 - She’s most likely going to be getting the chop tomorrow. She’s foxtailing pretty bad now and I looked all over and couldn’t find any clear trichs, all cloudy with scattered amber. So instead of her continuing with the foxtailing, I’ll harvest her and salvage what I can. Day 75 - Nothing new, decided to give her another day or two before chopping, might end up doing it on Sunday. Day 76 - Still not ready to chop this girl yet so gonna give her a little more time and might not do it tomorrow either. Might end up giving her another week. Every time I think I’m ready to chop, I’ve been told to give her another week so that’s what I’m gonna do. Day 77 - The end of week 11 and giving her some more time before chopping. Not sure when I’m gonna cut her down yet but she keeps throwing out more and more pistils so letting her go at least another week.

Week 5 Flipped to Flower. Finally recovered from Light burn and spider mites. Closed up all my light leaks and added a little CO2 to the room. Will be adding more CO2 soon. Trellis has been added Turned Lights up to 75%

The Blackberry auto by Fastbuds has been a thrilling plant to grow. Starting off as a tri-cotyledon seedling, she's been a rush from the start. When she came out mutated I didn't even know if I wanted to keep her; I asked the growdiaries.com community for help. After speaking with a few experts I decided to keep it and see what would happen.. Since then she has developed thick healthy stocks stalks and dark leaves with ripe purple flowers bursting out between them add every node. Using a home mix super soil with Promis Organic as the base, I decided to feed compost extracts laced with Golden Tree & CalMag which helped kick this girl into over drive and push out these dense sticky buds. I'm expecting around 3 ounces from her and it's day 73 since she popped out of the soil. She has a sweet aroma and is completely covered in trichomes. Drying/ Curing process: - she will be hung upside down by the main stock until she is dry (8-12 days) - My humidity will be set to 55 - 60 % and my temps will range from 65-70 degrees F - Will store in Glas Mason jars with 2-way Boveda humidty packs. These are a lifesaver for new growers. They will keep the humidity in the jar at 62%. - after 2 weeks I'll throw down a mad sesh Thanks to everyone who offered me tips and help when I needed it. One of the shorties of the bunch, I have to say Northern Lights is my favorite smelling strain (or at least the flower I just finished). I'm hoping she'll smell the same.

It's been great.. upgraded their tent, girls are stretching fairly but not excessively. I remove lst tie downs before flowering [experiment] but had to redo to maximize light penetration, previous topping and lst created a lot of bud sites Happy growing guys..

Week 4 was actually pretty smooth. she was showing nitrogen and potassium deficiencies because she was being terribly underfed and because i had weened her off the veg nutes WAY too soon. I found the dyna gro nutrient schedule and ive been following that. i will definitely be following the schedule much better next round as i wasnt actually aware they had a schedule out. Shes currently week 5 day 1 and shes already fat af and super trichomey.s he still got at least 2 weeks left. she might be ready by week 7 honestly tho who knows guess well see. Ive been giving her 1 gal each time of dechlorinated tap water just straight water. it has been phd to 6.6 ph. runoff tested at 6.3 ph. will probably flush one last time before continuing the bloom feed.
