🇺🇸Week 3🇺🇸 – Growth Explosion & First Training Back again for this week’s update! The Mother Gorilla is going crazy—she’s growing at an insane pace, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The plant is super strong, and the leaves are just massive. Some are reaching up to 21 cm long, which is wild. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. And honestly, I have to say—I’m seriously impressed by Formulex from Growth Technology. I’ve been using the same nutrient solution since the start, and the results are just insane. It’s such a simple product, but what it’s delivering so far is absolutely incredible. I’ll be switching to growth fertilizers soon (they’re on the way), but for now, I’m sticking with Formulex, and it’s honestly blowing my mind. Environmental Conditions Not much has changed on that front. The environment is still dialed in: • Temperature: ~22-23°C during the day, 18°C at night. • Nutrient solution temp: Holding steady at 17-18°C. • pH levels: Hovering around 5.8-6.0—had to adjust it slightly during the week, but nothing major. It’s stable overall. • VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit): Still around 0.6, which seems to be working well. As long as it stays below 0.8, I think we’re in the sweet spot. • Humidity: Holding at 70%. Everything’s been pretty stable, and it looks like the plant is loving it. Major Work This Week – Defoliation & Topping This week was huge in terms of plant training. The foliage was getting super dense, so I went in for a heavy defoliation, removing all the big fan leaves. On top of that, I topped the plant—cut the main shoot to redirect energy towards the secondary branches. The goal is to push those side branches so they can take full advantage of the SCROG I just set up! Now, it’s all about recovery. Hopefully, she bounces back strong, and we can really start working that SCROG. Alright, that’s it for this week! Let’s keep an eye on things and see how she responds. J’espère qu’elle va repartir de plus belle et qu’on va vraiment pouvoir bosser ce SCROG. Voilà pour cette semaine ! On garde un œil sur tout ça et on voit comment elle évolue. At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. 420Fastbuds FBT2305 Week 8 What up grow fam. Weekly update on these redheads. They both are almost identical in size, structure, and smell. Really excited to see what will come of these two in the coming weeks. I'll keep up everything the same as the plants seem to be responding excellent to nutes every 3rd feeding. I might do a mild defoliation in the coming week to allow more light to lower flower sites. All in all Happy Growing.

107 days!! Here is another great experience :) The girl has matured, 330 grams of wet, full of sticky, resinous shiny, pleasantly smelling flowers :) I think it will be about 90 dry :) although the girl is definitely not the biggest, but she looks great, the smell is also amazing :) I also got some sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash, For me personally it is really beautiful and good growth, which I think will definitely be confirmed by the dried and cured flowers :) there will be a smoke review, as well as the total dry weight. good luck to everyone :).

Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (not this one). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. The Future #1 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.
