I’m baaaaack!!! Sorry I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been busy getting everything together for the next phase… Welcome to the Dude Garden 2.0! I now have 3 grow areas. Two 2x4 tents (one for clone/veg, another for mothers) and a large 10x12’ish flowering area (its actually larger than that, but I’ll be conservative). The tents are running 300w LED’s and a T5 for the cloning/sprouting station. The flowering area has a 1000w HPS!!! I’m totally psyched to see how the HPS does with flowering for me. From all the research I’ve done It seems to still be undisputed that HPS is the best for flowering (but not so good on the electric bill). I moved all plants from the tents to the new flowering area under HPS. That includes 3 Blackberry’s (FastBuds), NYC Diesel Auto (Barney’s Farm), DinaMed+ and Critical+ (DinaFem), Cream & Cheese CBD (Seedsman) and 3 Cherry Hemp (Elevator Supply Co). You’ll see the first 2 Blackberry’s are getting close to harvest, but looking a bit funky due to the issues they had early on as seedlings. The 3rd is looking much better and will probably yield more than the first 2 combined. I do love the purple and the aroma is insane. Note: The HPS gives much more of a yellow wash on the pics than I was expecting. I tried to color correct the pics the best I could and tried to get to the real colors, It should be pretty close.

Hello lads! How are you doing? So, week 8 and the ladies are amazing, the buds are getting fat is this stage, and I am very happy with it. Gonna start the harvesting in two weeks. Thanks for following me!

7/3 So here we go with a new strain, this time I’ve prepared a growing bed so I can use all the space trying to achive a nice micro grow

😴This week has not been full of events. After severe defoliation and transfer to flowering, the plant gradually came to its senses, overgrown with foliage and grew by 3 floors. It still eats well, there are no visible problems. 👉Solution: Water 170ppm, 8l Silicon 4 ml CalMag 2 ml Micro 7, Gro 7, Bloom 5.25 pH Down 5.5 ml Total 753, 5.6 🙌The plant quickly absorbs nutrients at the time of pre-flowering, so the amount of substances in the solution quickly dropped from 730 to 600 ppm, I added back to 750, next time to 800, and finally reached 900 ppm in the week. I really like the intensity of the absorption of substances, it promotes active growth and mass gain, which is what I need!

Wow, this thing is huge! Very impressed with the final week of growth for the Gorilla, she looked massive! Some of the branches had collapsed from the weight of the buds. I harvested, with 19 full branches of buds now hanging up to try, this should be a great harvest! I'll update values once I have an idea of dry weight 😀

What can i say about this amazing success story from Barneys Farm. They were a breeze to grow and took whatever i theew at them without a hitch. the bigger pheno girls were amazi g with growth spurts and went easily more than double in stretch. I ran out of silicon and calmag which did hold them back a little during flower. In true Gorilla strain style , they were floppy with their weights from about week 6 and i suggest staking early on for a better control of their bud position. Without my lazy growing practices ( being resolved for the fast bud run shortly !) , i feel this strain is a winner. rhe smaller phenos were unfortunate but still gave nice buds to smoke. I would recommend this stesin to growers at all levels. easy if you want it to be but would meet you every step of the way with more complex training methods too. Love Gorilla Skittelz. First Week of Flower. I gave them 36h of darkness before flipping to 12/12 light schedule. Canopy is filled somewhat good and more important is a even canopy. Installed a second net in the middle of the week. The support will be necessary later. Did a bit of defoliation but the lollipop will be done in 2 weeks. Things are going great in this tent, a couple brown calcium def spots forming in a few areas and as it goes we're currently out of cal-mag lol, we should have more delivered in about 2 days...I really like the structure of these plants, a few long (fat) colas always make for easy cleaning/drying and the SP-3000 gets in there deep..we could never run this close together under our old LEDs or without bending them sideways but we've had no issues yet keeping everything vertical under the MarsHydro...The temps are a little high and we're still watering this tent more than the others but airflow is really good and the plants seem happy for now....we removed a bunch of lower growth from most of them this week so they'll put that energy towards the stuff on top and minimize "popcorn"..the smell is just amazing, this is a very hearty and beautiful strain..I'm happy we were able to grab a half dozen clones..all the Widow clones we took are well into veg at this point ...💪🐱🌱....we live in zone 5 (US) and are limited on what we can grow outdoors but I think with these being a "fast" strain we could flower them all outside..we'll play it by ear lol..well thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings, we'll update if anything exciting happens midweek...have a safe and happy Memorial Day (US) Growmies!! ❤️💡🌱😽💨 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_

I'm very happy with the results, I'm also about to add a dimmable sf1000 for more power. I'll soon introduce microvita topcrop to improve the soil.

Actualización 05/10/2024 ¡Hola, growers! Perdón por no poder compartir las semanas completas, pero poco a poco volvemos a la normalidad. Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨

It is awesome plant with huge yield! I didn’t expect that the strain was so much yielding with full of taste and strength!!! Thank You Barney’ Farm for such a high quality product!!!...

Noticed some slight Nitrogen deficiency so I removed 20l of the tank and added 20l with Yara Kristalon Blue 19-6-20 + Calcinit A+B and it seemed to do the trick. Went low on ORP this week. Saw slight tip burn so I'll lower EC next week seems that ~2000 is the sweet spot. Did some defoliation as usual whenever needed, never noticed any stunting in any timelapse, also did a little lolipoping. This one is going to be a big one for sure, really happy. She seems small, but it's so strong. Resisted very well the stress to be an autoflower. Totally love it. Ella luce pequeña, pero es muy fuerte. Resiste bastante bien el estrés para ser una autofloreciente. Me encanta.

Day 50 the plant has been growing at an incredible speed and has a very very large flowering stretch in fact I only have left 5 inches to raise up my light and then I'm going to have to do something to keep an eye on those branches so they don't stretch anymore or at least they can have enough light to proper development. From all the plants I have grow indoors this one is the only one that has make my light stretched to the top of the tent I guess it's a good problem to have. Other than the incredible stretch the plan seems to be healthy and doing pretty well the flower is development and I'm looking forward to see how this is going to turn out. Day 52 I have rise my light to the top as high as I can and she still grow past the light towards the exhaust system I had to tie her down in order to create an arch and in that way make her receive enough light instead of growing over the top of the light where there is actually no sufficient light if this problem persist I will have no choice but to do super cropping on the tallest branches and see how they react to that I decide to take some cuttings I'm trying to clone this one to see if I can get her outside in the summer in another buddy house and see how she reacts to challenging Ontario weather. Day 53 I have to Super crop several branches Unfortunately they were growing straight into the light becoming burned by the intense light I hope the plant doesn't react to bad to HST and still deliver awesome buds thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

Week 2 Bloom (…or is it? 🤔🌱) Alright, here we are—officially week 2 of bloom, at least that’s the plan! But I’ve got to admit… I’m starting to wonder if I might’ve accidentally grabbed one of my Red Hot Cookies photoperiod seeds instead of an autoflower. 😅 She’s looking great, growing steadily, but so far, no clear signs of budding, which is a bit strange for this point. If nothing pops up in the next few days, I’ll move her into the tent with my Red Hot girl and start manual light deprivation—if my work schedule allows. Gotta stay flexible! 💡🌒 🕷️ Spider mites update: I’ve been on patrol—manually removed quite a few and today, the predatory mites finally arrived! Hoping they clean house and keep things in check. Thanks to regular compost tea and bi-weekly silica foliar sprays, the plants are holding up strong and showing good resilience. 💧 Feeding routine this week: BioBizz Grow + Bloom + TopMax Compost tea (as always, brewed with love) Silica spray twice for that natural armor 🌿🛡️ So even if the timeline feels a little mysterious, she’s thriving and stacking energy for what’s next.
