week 2 : Auto Colorado Cookies in Vertafort So i just fixed my fan on day 6, vpd has been creeping upward the last two days and especially today towards 1.1 , got slightly better air circulation so hopefully the pot will dry quicker from now on. Will probably water 3 pints of water with aloe and cal mag each around 120 ppm, top her up with light mix soil (potting soil aka peat moss) , she's getting night time sprays of amino acids now to balance out the soil pH towards 6.5 , sprayed once with kelp and cal mag ph-ed with GHE dry pH down at 0.1 grams to get it to 6.0 but rain is 5.5 so i pray i'm okay, might do even less ph down next time. completely low maintenance yet she might be the first of the wet bunch to get topped off and watered once dry 🚀

As you can see now I am batteling crazy hot temperatures. She is already crazy sticky and has this typical Guava smell. Strwaberry with Pear. I am proud of this plant which has been moved around all over the place and she still will give me a nice yield of yummy Nuggets.

She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! The beginning of flowering was worrying us, we had yellowing and weakness of the leaves, but after a defoliation the plant seems to have re-balanced and seems to be going great again.

Took some clones & defoliated/lollipopped I started building a veg tent and went with a 2x2 AC Infiniti equipped with the 4inch cloud line duct system was a boring grow week.. ready for flower

Whelp figured out my PH meter was not reading correctly which means I was not balancing the PH of my water correctly....that being said I had been using RO water that *read* it was testing around 7.0, so I was using PH down to 6.5 5/27 - Decided to top the plant. Again with this being my first grow, this was slightly nerve-racking 5/28 - Seems I didn't mess up the top chop, woooh! I tested the PH of my soil today(5.6), if that even tells me anything(I find 2 articles that say it doesn't and another 2 that say the opposite...so that's magical) and ended up just buying a few gallons of distilled water from the store since I didn't want to be running my RO system for my plant and the others in my house.(made sense in my head at the time) Fed a dose of nutrients in the feeding tonight. I believe I was underwatering my plant. 5/29 Forgot to take a picture because I thought I might have overfed the nutes, on the night before.., So I spent the night researching info and trying to figure out if that was the case and how to correct it. But again since I am new to this, I have no clue lol. It also seems I had bumped up the light power from 50% to 100% some how the night before. Ended up dropping it down to 70% power. 5/30 I took the photo, then tied down the main stem. worries of overfeeding have subsided for now... 6/1 Looking extra bushy today. Holding off on defoliation, unless someone tells me otherwise. I am trying to hold off for a few days on doing anything more that could stress out my plant.

Looking great, I'm able to appreciate where they are rn, the speed of development. Waiting for the male pollen sacs to develop more before removing them. Plant on using the pollen for 3 plants another Gelato cake of the same phenotype, a Gelato cake that is a different phenotype, and a purple monkey balls.
