Sep 14: another nice day and she is doing fine. Using far red 730 nm light for a few seconds at dusk as a bloom booster. Added benefit is I can take flash pics without causing the plant to hermie. Just use the red light right after the flash pic. Sep 16: this plant is covered in flowers and is really quite awesome. It is way ahead of the others but still needs another couple weeks at least. Sep 19: this plant is getting noticeably heavier, and I can tell when I move it to sunny spots in the yard.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. This poor, sad little girl. I feel bad for neglecting her earlier on. But hopefully she will live up to her namesake and persevere! (I guess it is a little messed up that the strain is Widow Remedy and I killed both of her husbands😕) Anyway... So bugs suck, and I sprayed with some neem oil and put out a sticky trap. Fertilized with some of the Coast of Maine and watered it in with some lime water. Heat wave is moving through right now, I hope she likes it hot😎 Forgive my slurred speech in the video, it's been a long week and my brain is addled😜

Hey guys, Looks like we have an early chop on the puur organics side. Not sure if I did anything different but this is a bit ahead of the Bonnie Clyde autopot plant. Same reservoir as last week so she’s drinking a lot less. Time to start getting her ready for ripening. Purr organics fed has been flushed the past two watering days about 3 days apart. Going to chop her this weekend after she gets a day of darkness. Vpd - 1.3 Ppfd - 800

- 17-05-21 (Day 1) // // - 18-05-21 (Day 2) three of the girls got out of the soil correctly!😊 while the Runtz sprout is the only one that still remains in its seed despite she already opened it for 2/3 day now..🤔 its root seems to struggle to grow or pierce the soil .. I'm helping her by keeping the humidity higher since I put this bag, we'll see what happens 🤷‍♂️🏻 ..Any advice will be welcome 🙏🏻 as always have a nice day and happy growing to everyone! 😊☮️💚 19-05-21 (Day 3) ..Unfortunately the Runtz Muffin is dead, was unable to come to life like her little sisters. After three days, i tried to help her removing her seed husk.. but there was nothing to do 😢 So here is a new start!! 😊 I put this Lemon Tree “Freebie” seed to germinate aaand to replace the poor Runtz Muffin. 😕🙌🏻 We'll see how it goes this time.. 🤞🏻🍀 Sending positive vibes for you and your garden ☮️💚 20-05-21 (Day 4) All the girls are doing great and continuing their grow. The Lemon Tree is doing great too with its germination, that in just six hours the seed has opened! Now I’ll wait that the sprout grow a tiny root of (1,5/2cm) at least, to pass it into the soil. Happy grow fam. Stay smoky 😙💨 21-05-21 (Day 5) With today the girls are in their fifth day of growth. 🙌🏻 Bio-heaven (amino-acids) added to the recipe (1ml/1L) As you know after the death of Runtz Muffin, I have been germinating the Lemon Tree for two days now, today is the third day for her after an excellent germination, I have transferred it from the paper towel to the soil to make it grow. Let’s see how she will grow, Despite being a week behind, I hope she grows strong, healthy and fast🤞🏻 Have a good weekend, lift up and relax. Peace ☮️ 💚 22-05-21 (Day 6) The Lemon tree is officially out of the soil, ready to grow! 🙌🏻💚 The other girls are fine, they are on their sixth day of life and they love the environment where they are growing up. ..Plus they are always listening to music (Lo-Fi) 24/7 ☺️ I hope they like it.. 🤷‍♂️🏻😆 That's all for today. Have a good weekend gromies!! 🧑🏻‍🌾👩‍🌾🏻☮️💚 23-05-21 (Day 7) Today last day of the first week for the girls and first day of life for the Lemon Tree! The nourishment for them is always the same, except for the Lemon Tree which for the moment I am just spraying water to irrigate it. ..In this round I expect great things! Happy growing to everyone! ☮️💚

For the first time, I tried working with enzymes in the irrigation water. These are supposed to break down dead roots and plant material in the soil and make it available to the plant as food. I'm curious to see how it goes. After the first three weeks of light changeover the flower transformation is done. Now it is the right time for defoliation and lollopoping. In case cherry high lollipopping wasn’t necessary I only removed one or two popcorn buds and a few leaves. Light Power: 100% Day 72 Flower day 29 Photoshooting Defoliaton

This is the second week of germination, from here I think she's about to start her veg. Hopefully by next week we will be able to top a few if not all the ladies in the garden. Yesterday was their first full watering, we only gave them 1 gallon of ph'd water.

This was a great grow under the Unit Farm UF2000 light. Was a great yield for 100 watt light. Thank you again UNITFARMLED_justin. There will be more Unit Farm grows in the future. I will be conducting a photoperiod grow with a UF4000, and the UF2000 in my photoperiods room once my current grow is completed. The flower is very tasty, and potent as it has been in past. Thanks again grow diaries community for the likes, follows, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel. I greatly appreciate the support. Happy growing, and be safe out there 🤜🤛🌱🌱🌱 Ps I named this girl Gretchen, she has a sister plant named Ingrid for those who know where Ingrid is. 🤣🤣🤣

I had to transfer to the bigger pots the week. There was a lot of stretch in the cups and they were falling over. so will see how it goes this week. Coco with the Azomite and a little clone x myco powder at the root base, Just a baby feeding 1 mil/gal of the three part Emerald Harvest and Cal Mag in a 5 gallon bottle. PH at 6.1, then another 5 gallons of plain PH 6.2 water no food to get run off from the pots. The runoff was PH 5.8 so in happy with that. I got the time-lapse running so I will post it at the end of each week moving in to the next one. waiting on a green filter for the camera to help adjust the color so everything will not look blurpule. Cheers.

En la 6ta semana de vegetación hicimos una poda de bajos y desfoliación en general para potenciar el crecimiento de los brotes superiores, mejorando la iluminación y ventilación en el cultivo. También hicimos unos cuantos amarres (lst).

Made the flip to flower to start this week. Did a bunch of lst to get the side branches booming for the Scrog. Put a second net right above her to start things off spacing and structre wise. Second she starts to stretch its scrog game on! Got her on a well balanced diet to support her transition period. Can't wait to see her explode and take off! Start rowing me out some colas! Treated her with lost coast as a preventative. Next up us dr zhymes in 5 days. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
