Been MIA for awhile but here’s the update on these girls. Two chem brulee, one northern lights, and one 5150 made it into the flower tent. I gave the spice cut and Runtz to a buddy. The chem brulee is on the left and northern lights is the front right of the picture. Duuude this chem is a crazy grower. I took some cuts and got 3 clones ready to go for the next run. The stem on one of them is a quarter thick. 3 gallon pots, used a lot more silica this run and it’s showing. Think I ran out of nitrogen last harvest so adding bay guano to the tea this flower. Because I have iridium and copper in the water, the ph meter fluctuates due to breaking bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen. The fluctuation range I see is between 6.4 and 6.9 so I’m reporting 6.6. So far, I don’t see any negative effects of the iridium & copper on the plant. The soil base is Happy frog, Coast of Maine, Mushroom Compost and super soil. I’m giving only ph water to her for this grow. On the first week of the blooming phase, the girl is growing unbelievably quick, she has trichomes in first week, (since the pistils appeared) so I've changed my mind and started to administer flowering nutrients in maximum strength accordingly. Unfortunately some leaves at the bottom and one in the middle, that I hadn't noticed before, are a little bit ugly, maybe the ventilation was too strong at the bottom or could be overfeeding so I'm thinking about cutting on by half. There're some red stems too, but I think there's nothing to worry about. Suggestions are very welcome! Happy growing!

After topping last week we've just been watching them grow. Bending down the branches to help them spread out. Over this next week I'll start my lst ties to help pull them down and out.

A parte purtroppo un dubbio di una ermafrodita, penso e spero di aver scongiurato il peggio eliminando tutti i bulbi sottostanti al fiore di ciascun apicale facendo la massima attenzione. Ad ogni modo i fiori si stanno gonfiando parecchio, il profumo è invitante, i tricomi hanno un bell'aspetto. Vediamo come va a finire.. 🤞🏼🍀💪🏼

Shes continuing to fatten up. Trichomes are looking mostly cloudy with some ambers so I will start her final flush this week. We’ll see how much more she’ll swell in the next 10-14 days.

Day 53 of flower today. I filled the reservoir from empty and stopped using the macro. I replaced it with General hydroponics Ripen at 5ml a gallon. Everything is frosty and smells good. As far looks I like the RC the best and the PE the least. I'm going to end up with a sheet ton of it out of the 3 so I hope I'm wrong! 😆 I'm going to do a lower defoliation mid week to get more air flowing. RH is stable but I just want to be careful 🧐 being this close to the finish line. This is definitely one of the easiest runs I've had. It seems PE is pretty maxed when it comes to nutrition but LMC and RC could take a bit more. My PE phenotype is super stretchy compared to them as well.

Start week 7 , Bio Grow 2 ml/L + Bio Bloom 4 ml/L + Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra 2 ml/L + CarboLoad 2 ml/L + Top Max 4 ml/L (Ph 6.7).

As you can see they are still growing. No nutrients added yet. We let the soil dry out and leave it dry for a full day before re watering. We do not want any root rot. The plants will tell you what they need.

Great week!!! What a resilient plant, a few different times now I’ve come up with issues, I attempt to diagnose and compensate with my limited growing knowledge and the thing just keeps coming back better and healthier and stronger then before. So far, I am very happy with this strain, Dresden Green Diamond from the Garden of Green seed company because it’s been so easy for a beginner like me and it’s going so well. Looks like they are either sold out or they discontinued the strain possibly I got them as freebies with my order on Seedsman but yea super happy with it. So on to the meat and potatoes of this week. I realized the biggest issue that I have now is going to be controlling the heigh of the plant. It’s only a 4 foot tent. The pot takes at least a foot of height space away, the light is currently as high as the pulley system allows and is still hanging down a foot from the top. (I may have to end up just juryrigging a new attachment system for it to get more space. Also the plant is now about a foot tall and the light is 10 inches away. I’ve heard that they can double or more in height during flowering which would be a problem. So what to do? I topped it this week for the first time. Hoping that will redirect some of the plants energy into developing the lower branches, of which I have a healthy number. So I’m hoping they will catch up with the top of the plant and I just have a bunch of top sites. There are also 2 new top branches starting to grow from the top site. As soon as they are big enough I will bend them at a 90 degree angle to try and prevent it from going any taller than this point. I haven’t got around to it yet but I will begin LST this week as well to spread the branches out a bit and have them more horizontal to fill up more of my space. Overall, things are going great.
