This plant was a POWERHOUSE! It shattered my previous one plant personal best by almost double. I broke the rules and double topped her early on just because she had grown so quickly in the early weeks. Coupled with the fact that she didn't flower until week 5 made her a beast. I might have missed an update here or there but she was 101 days from germination and so worth the wait. In the end a totally perfect freak of nature that could take as much in nutrients as I threw at her and overall 100% the best auto I've grown to date. If every one grew like this I'd think I was getting pretty good at the art from we all come here to share and learn about.. These are my HQ photos and I'll upload the phone shots shortly! Still trying to find the issue, I noticed that new growth mostly looked fine and the plants were growing quickly still after watering and leaf issues started popping up only after the soil had dried out quite a bit already. So was I underwatering? Was the EC in the soil rising after too much dryback? Still, the plants were quite light in color, but that did not seem like my biggest issue. I topped the GMO a few more times, because it had grown so tall. Finally I decided to put the Sour Strawberry seedling into the AutoPot as well.

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Getting close! Few weeks out but really starting to fatten up and pack on some weight. Trichromes still really clear. The smell is amazing and the colors are beautiful. Really excited to see what last few weeks bring! 🍻

All 5 plants are growing great now! Started flowering my bag seed plant to go ahead and get it sexed ahead of flipping the light. I'm feeling a female! She's looking too good to be a boy. The mentos is recovering great from the topping, as you can see she's starting to bush out quite nice, all but #2 (the taller, single stalk one). Went ahead and started tying back all the branches that were getting ready for it. Also started defoliating some of the would be larf from the lower nodes to give them more energy to the future colas! We're almost there guys and gals, flowering time is right around the corner! Hopefully a week or so away. I can't Fu@k!ng wait! LESSSSGOOOOOOOOOOOOO

finally here we are, the transition to flowering begins after 7 weeks the girls are ready, with some feeding problems, I will try to give them what they prefer and now the countdown begins.

I did notice some fad in the leafs so I upped my nitrogen a little and it seemed to stop the problem. All in all Happy Growing

Plants took a few days to get stripped down. Missed the second week of flowering and stretching but oh well there is always next time. Very excited to see this canopy full of uniform buds its going to be a sight to behold haha.

This week they’ve been filling up. I’m noticing a little more crystallization but not that much. Not sure what’s going on there but they look beautiful.

3 Plants. 3 citrusy phenos! #1 : First to sprout rapid rooter. TASTE: Pure Lemon front end into hashy cakey afghani. refer to this as the "lemon hashcake" phenom very dense, beautiful nug structure. Yielded 24.5 dry grams of primo smoke. Uplifting more cerebral sativa high with some punch in body as well. happy stress reliever for sure! has some "gassy" or fuel notes to it but very subtle #2 Tangerine pheno: I orginally thought sour 76 was sour diesel x 76 Afghan til i read hso marks post on uk420 forums saying its cali sour d x 76 afghan. cali sour d is cali orange x sour d x mexican sativa. and it shows in this pheno which smell and taste pretty similar to tangie my friend grows which is cali orange x skunk 1 (mexican sativa x Colombian sativa x afghan indica) pretty similar genetics roots! Smell: Sweet tangerine 🍊 Taste: Just like tangerines 🍊 Medical Effects: Hybrid feeling effects felt both in body and mind.  Stimulating mentally, relaxing in the body.  Mild pain relief generally with amazing relief improving feeling in joints (reduced swelling or irritation in otherwise aching areas, loosened tension at joints) Notes: After breaking up or grinding the sweet tangerine open jar/bud smells turns more sour tangerine with very subtle gas aroma. This one is scary strong! Creeper. thought it was weakest on initial smoke but 10 minutes in it end up being strongest high of all 3.  super wicked sativa, buzzy uplifting all similar to Cinderella 99 or strong jack herers this has almost a "scary high"  first few times but once you get used to it or microdose, it is a super fun creative medicine.  Helps my arthritis pains and gives me the clean up the house kind of high Notes: Foxtailed, lowest yield of 3 sour 76's likely because its place directly under the light (perhaps didnt like too intense direct light) but is the most potent of the 3 as well. yielded 22.5 grams of dry

Dei meisten buds sind jetz schon so ziemlich reif. Vorraussichtlich wird in ein paar Tagen geerntet. Ansonsten wird zumindest teilgeerntet. Aktuell wird noch täglich gespült. Mittlerweile immerhin bei einem ec wert von 1,5 angekommen. Vor der Ernte wird noch mit Terra Aquatica FlashClean gespült damit alle Salz Rückstande rausgespült werden.

I really loved growing this strain. It was easy and stress-free. She seemed to be quite resistant to pests (my tent had a thrip invasion and it didn't seem to affect her too much). I will definitely grow it again in the future. Amazing tropical and fruity fragrances, I don't even know if I will be able to wait until it's cured before I can try it. It grew short and stout, almost buds only. I reckon it could have been a bigger plant if I would have started it under the Mars Hydro instead of on my balcony. Next time I'll do better 🙏 Overall great genetics from RQS, highly recommended! 🙌 **SMOKE REPORT UPDATE after a long and nice cure** The flavour is exactly what you would expect based on the delicious fragrance. Happy uplifting high. It's probably one of my favourite strains and it will most certainly come back in my grow tent.

This grow cycle was one of my best from start to finish I had 5 females 4 of which were brilliant all shown colour all fruity gassy and amazing only the one was bland and green in colour and smelt different really good nug atructure but the smell wasn't there for me ... this is around my fifth grow and I'll be running these strains again to get it down to one pheno of these genetics

Weirdo is at it again. Seems to me like she is in her final phase. Most of the leaves dying back buds starting to fall over but still a little immature🤷‍♂️ the other girl has a few weeks it seems but weirdo could be within the week. Ambers are starting to appear on the lower flowers. I am a little underwhelmed with her progress this week. I took a lower sample to evaluate things a little better. Plant two is moving along. Both plants cut their water demand down🤷‍♂️ After inspecting the sample, i notice alot of amber, mostly cloudy, with a few still clear, trichomes. I dont think she is ready as the buds are still developping new bracts. Hold out for a day or two, and go from there

34 Days have passed. The colors are fading for some reason but i dont really care, theres obviously room for improvement on this grow. Im just gonna let it go as far as i can and hopefuly the plants will mature before they die off. It may have been because of over watering, thats my best bet so i will not water until they show small signs of underwatering, just so i can make sure. Other than that, the buds are looking good and the smell is incredible. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎
