Other than the leaf nibble, it's been a good week of grow! I'm very excited to start her on Plagron, I like Success but I just don't have the time. It was taking me 1 to 2 hours to mix my water there was so much and I was working at the same time. I just needed something easier. I've been wanting to try it for a while now, so I'm finally ready to switch it up.

This plant was left in the corner and never had too much attention the toot system was not so good But! It’s very nice and dense with a potent smell of lime can’t wait to try. For sure Dutch passion is one of the best breeders I’ve used .. happy growing

This week about day 46 or so I did a heavy defoliation and some branch bending/LST to get more light to the newly forming bud sites as well as to even out the canopy a little more. She is requesting a little more frequent watering about every 2-3 days and I go until I see run off and I let the run off sit for about 8-12 hrs to allow the medium to absorb as much as it wants then dump off the remaining. I am starting to notice a slight smell now that the flowing has started it’s very earthy and kind of like fresh grass. After adding the Dr earth last week I have not seen any more yellowing of my leaves which is a huge relief. At this point I’m going to be as hands off as I can some simple fan leaf tucking and maybe some branch bending to keep the smaller bud sites open to light as they seem to be swallowed up after a day or two and the fan leaves raise back up. I would like to find Dr earth bloom to add as a top dress either this week or next if I can find it just to give it a little more of a boost. I’m trying to keep this grow as organic as possible and probably will continue to be my niche for every grow going forward until I have it perfectly dialed in. I’m not seeing much more of a stretch and assume this plant will be a little stalky girl I’m hoping the main colas fill out decently and I’m hoping by the next grow I have a better light set up that may help my production of bud sites when she flips to flower. I also plan to start a more detailed journal at home that specifies what days into the grow I do what for better accuracy and to improve future grows. This girl it is a very resilient client has only received mistreating him from me I have them all tied up like a bouquet of flowers came in then no space to breathe and no place to move because it has such an incredible stretch and growth that it was taking over the light of the entire tent despite being a back up plant that I put in the same planter with another string that I thought I was going to lose her this one is very strong and I have not allow her to develop properly so it is very Bushy plant I am not sure if it’s me or is the strain of plant nevertheless it has a very vigourous growth thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

This week, I dealt with a fungus gnat problem. I used parasitic nematodes from Biocont. It looks like they are working; no new gnats are appearing on the yellow sticky traps, and even the weaker plant has started to stabilize.

Topped this girl this week. Growing pretty good so far. I’ll be potting up to 3 gal pots next week sometime. I also have a Bison Brew that I’ll be using sometime after transplant.

Everything seems to be going great. The Maverick had some leaf deformations but they went away. After 4 years of growing, this Maverick seems like it beast with all that foliage underneath I've never seen anything like that. I will be topping Maverick today. The blue dream looks awesome it's a slow grower and the leaves are very thin and fragile. Other than that it looks beautiful very nice and even growth. One more thing I wanted to mention is that I have a light with options for blue spectrum, red spectrum and/or both. I see everyone online say to use both blue/red from seed to harvest. Well I'm here to tell you that the blue light for veg works great plus it saves about 25 bucks a month in electric. So if you want to save money just use the blue light for veg I doubt it will make much of a difference putting on both. Plus that's what most manufacturers recommend. Peace!!!

Heavy defoliation done on 12/22 EC 2.6 strong solution to help with recovery from defoliation in flower

Real flowering started this week. The stretch just started and the crazy bushiness continues. Did some fairly heavy defoliation on the under canopy and select large leaves blocking light to the bud sights.... but controlling the growth is a balance. Trying to keep as much photosynthesis as possible until I can really tell which bud sites will be the real colas. I did a full reservoir swap with flowering nutrients, and a pH balanced water only flush in between (about 18 hours just running pH 5.9 water). Once I put the new nutrient solution in, the plant just shot up. It was spectacular the difference in literally only half a day. I have noticed that a thin coating of something was on the air line of the bubbler and a couple other surfaces. Cleaned it off before the water flush, but still note a very slight film on the top of the fresh nutrient solution. It's a touch worrying but not sure it's an issue. Will watch carefully.
