I have started testing:
- the air heat remover (induct fan).

- Humidity Controll
I have put the seeds and germinate them.
1 day in a glass of water until the seeds sink
2-3 days in a tupper with lots of humidity
Then added them to the giffy once the root came out.
Then put then in the germinator with the fluorescent light (:
End of week 1: leafs got a little stressed i think is cause of the salt and straight up nutrients but what I wanted is the roots to go fast.
Looks good so far:
- 39-49-99 of light
Started hard. 1 week and the first floor came out. Hope roots are even better.
Cleaned the roots before starting.
Ended harder, plants gre only 1 monre week till phase 1 of flower. Saw sum lack of magnecium cause the platnz stressed out cause all of the micros.
Check week 3 for folllow up (:
Set the PH 5.8/ 5.9 cause maybe it was too hard. Magnecium deficentcybwas pressent, but this week its like flushing for bloom, so they will not stress so much.
Also added the Week 3 led gama
1st month on the Grind Week 4 and starting to smell. BBs looking strong growing well and happy under the led light.
It is my first time on Auto and LED, but looks like Autos are small. Next time I’ll try regular females.
NOTE: changed the gamma to 99-99-55
Going strong. One has developed less roots than the other but it might be because i hurt the roots of one when cleaning T.T. Issa rookie mistake but on my defense it’s the first time of growing again after 3 or 4 years.

Why do i see some auto or non auto diaries with 6 week of veg?
When i grew non auto i just had them 3 weeks then switch the light time and changed 400w to a 600w. I learned that because they used to get hella big. And in Auto seeds i switch the spectrum after 3 weeks
Hi @Ign33l automatic plants with longer vegetative growth are always more productive, I like to grow them big. but everything depends on the conditions we have for them, I also make them small when necessary. good luck mate 👍
I decided to extend 1 more week the flowering cycle since i think they can get fatter. For an auto the size is great to me compared to the other growers.
They are eating alot so i will cut the week to 6 days and i will add UVB light supplement for 6 hours in the last 2 days of the week. So for Friday and Saturday.
I havent defoliated before because im afraid of cutting essential leaves (since i have read that some leaves are like veins of the MJ tree and they should be kept).
How do i know which leaves i should cut and which ones i should leave?
I usually trim the big fan leaves along the main cola first. But don't be afraid. Most of the time you have to remember your growing nuggets not weed. The small sugar leaves you keep. But any big ones blocking light i cut.
Hi @Ign33l if they are not ripe at the same time, you can first pick the buds from the top of the plant that are already ripe and leave the buds in the lower area for a few more days until they mature. good luck mate 👍

I read that end of week 2 flower lollypoping since it has grew already and the braches have been defined.

You can actually defoliate in veg and flower. In veg, you would defoliate to make sure the plant isn't getting too bushy so the lower branches can also get light. As far as when to lollipop, it should be done in the early stage of say week 1 or 2 so you don't cause any stress on the plant and to prevent those popcorn buds from growing.

Imma give them 2 more weeks to mature and then flush. So im extending the harvest time for 3 more weeks.
Learned that i have to defoliate:
- at the en of week 3, then add a wee 4 of veg for the hoes to recover
Defoliate the lower leaves and the ones that go inwards. Dont go crazy though.
- finishing week 2 of Flower, cut the pop corn and the succa branches of the bottom.
and also defoliate one more time the leaves that are growing inwards. Do it good here cause this is what it will determine the future.
Cut the ones blocking the light of the buds. It should be naked on below and leaving space and light go theough the middle.
- finishing week 5 also defoliate if they grew. Cut the ones that are blocking light.
Well, this is flush week. Harvest next.
While changing and defoliating i saw bud rot present ☹️. Lessons learned:
- you need a dehumidifier this is a MUST.
- you have to defoliate in week 3 of veg (the leaves in the bottom)
- you have to cut the small buds in week 2 of flower (cut out the useless branches) & defoliate the leaves growing inside.
- you have to defoliate again in week 5 (check)
- always keep humidity 45-50 max
- temp can not be lower than 18 when they are sleeping.
It was rough waiting and knowing that i did not defoliate and started seeing bud rot almost at the end.
Ended up cleaning everything and throwing half a harvest away, BUT A GOOD WELL PAID LESSON.
Could have gotten at least 120gr nuggets get fat and the taste of the bud is great, best sweet flavour. Just gotta be careful on the defoliating. And they dont grow so tall so great for a small indoor.
