Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Began LST on the taller plants. Things are running smooth and the plants are happy! Temps were running slightly hotter than normal. But nothing these resilient plants can’t handle. 2x Stunted seedlings are showing new growth and look like they are recovering just fine - excited to see how they will turn out.

Now shes a single Lady in her tent. Second Topping at 2 branches and slight defoliation mid week which you cannot really see anymore. She is actually looking really beautiful. :) Light hits with around 450-500 PPFD. Watering every 2-3 days.

Week 7 - Apple Strudel Auto is going insane ! I defoliated most of the lower leaves. Zero issues perfect for SOG extremely happy with how these are turning out. This girl went 110 days from germination. I harvested her on Boxing Day morning, nothing fancy, just cut at the base and hung whole. She’ll be dried for around 10 days at 55%RH - 19*c and then put into jars for curing. She was quite a slow grower throughout, but never gave me any trouble. She was a pleasure to grow from start to finish. Il post an update once she’s dried and had a weeks cure 🌱💚

Mid week is day 21 of flower. I'll do one more leaf strip in the next few days and then I should be done screwing around in the tent with these ladies. I'm extremely happy with how the canopy filled out. Just a couple of weeks ago I had to cull 3 of my 8 and that left a void. The last leaf strip is done. I also removed the trellis netting. I am unsure if this was a good idea or not. As far as I figure, My canopy did fill the 5'x5' but it doesn't any more. Now that the scrog net is down everything "stood tall". The reason I removed it is so I could make sure that 1. I could strip everything that I wanted/needed to before everything turns woody and fragile. 2. get to my plants to make sure that no Male flowers surfaced. I did consider putting it back in but then I though of harvest time, what if one in the back is ready before the one in the front, that is gonna suck to pull out. So I left the net out. My hypothesis is that as the buds start to gain weight, the weight will get the branches to come down and spread out again. If the weight seems like it may break limbs, at that point I will apply the scrog net as more of a trellis net that will be easily removed. It's weird, two nights ago I was dreaming that I was in a panic looking for plant yoyo's. I was dreaming that my kolas were so huge that they were snapping. LOL Hopefully it wasn't a dream and it was more of a vision. I have still been feeding by my pH range. I still haven't had to use any pH up or down in the last 18 days. I have noticed that flower isn't as forgiving as veg cycle. I do have one strain that is showing leaf tip burn so I have decided drop my EC enough to let my pH rise a bit more quickly. In the flower cycle the plants seem to be more finicky with their uptake. If It's too strong they leaf tip burn within a couple of days so if you need to make changes you can't tip toe like in veg. You need to aggressively get back into range because the plant isn't going to wait for you. It's clock is ticking and it's going with or without you. After my recent leaf strip, my humidity has been lower than ideal so I will probably be putting a humidifier in shortly. I have been using the dimmer to dim my lights to 75% but I would rather have them at 100. I am looking forward to what the next 5 weeks bring so I hope you all stay with to see how this turns out. Another week without any big issues! I am still figuring out this light though, I started lowering it now and it is at 100%. I am surprised how little heat it is putting off. I haven't had to remote mount the driver.

Absolutely stunning plant 🔥 🌳. Has a ⛽️ smell with a note of 🍬 at the end. Absolutely recommend this strain and breeder to anyone wanting to get some good autos. Auto Maxi Gom has been steadily making progress. She has started stretching, and is progressing more into flowering. I switched the feed over to blooming feed early week. she's smaller than my other Ak48 but she strong and healthy and bent up love her flowers coming in nice I give same feeding as my fortune cookies autoflower and my ak48 autoflower fortune cookies and ak48 are 6 days apart video is of the trio when its lively out I give umm natural sunlight at night since there autoflower I give umm my led light. did I mention I'm from the Caribbean.

First pistils started showing on the canopy so the flowering period timer started this week. Tops are looking good, forming shape across the net. Stretched branches are being tucked one square across every 3-4 days or tied down. Pulled down most lateral branches applying LST where they weren't long enough to nicely go under the next square across of the net. The net is filling up nicely, with more pruning below the canopy of growth tips. Only pruning a few fan leaves which are stacking - the back and sides are piled up with huge fan leaves. Fertigating with an inflow EC of >1.35 seems to be moving the run-off EC higher - will maintain higher inflow EC until run-off is within acceptable range. Run-off EC Should be within 300 Points of Inflow EC. Run-off EC is now approaching my target since I've increased the inflow EC. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Light period is during the night time to better maintain heat/humidity conditions during light off period (which happens during daytime). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes ; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (gives me great control over the environment) - ventilation fans - aquarium heater for nutrients solution (for winter use only) - small oil heater (for winter use only) - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots (as final pots) and 3.5L general plastic pots (for seedling stage) - Canna Coco substrate mixed with 40% perlite - GHE Flora Trio as base nutrients and various additives - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy, the other at the roots level - these allow for external monitoring and recording) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strain info from Royal Queen Seeds ; An amazing mix of genetics background - Its true genetics are unknown. Day 1-12/12/21 seeds placed into glass of water!! Day 2-13/12/24 seed transferred to paper towel!! Day 4-15/12/21 seeds are in soil and in tent!!! Day 6-17/12/21 seeds are showing first signs of leaf!!!!

Week 7 of flower and a couple of notable developments following the last update. The WPM issue of course remains but, after only 2 treatments with the sodium bicarbonate the plants have really responded well. That aside, we are seeing some early and potentially progressive signs of nute burn. We’ve topped off the res. Twice with just plain water but history suggests that you gotta be real careful with this to avoid having the opposite problem as well. Closely monitoring for signs of other issues as were really close to the finish now and do not wanna fuck this up… er… again 😬. The colours are starting to show nicely on em now too which is making Id on the burn a little more difficult to discern. Can’t wait to get this one done and finished so we can move on to the next adventure. Based on bud development, we should have no issues with cross-pollination as the males in the other tent continue to mature. About 2 weeks there so should be safely at the finish with these girls by then.🤟. Alls well in paradise yall👍😎👍.

Been tough keeping up with everything started a new job and has been hectic lately. ladies are doing good. feeding her based on the biobizz schedule. Havent checked Ph or PPM of runoff in a bit but have been keeping nute solution between 6.1-6.3 Im so mad i topped her a little too early she smells so damn funky would have loved to see her get to her full potential. Cant wait to pop another of these and give her another try. Thickening a bit hopefully she'll end up with some small sized colas. Its tough getting pictures of her with the lights on in tent. better pics soon!!
