Heaviest yielding plant I've ever grown wish I had had more space for her and she would have been even bigger!

9/9 (Day 84)- Things are wrapping up I believe! Have continued to mainly just monitor and keeping the res topped with just the full tilt. Monday we be going RO water ph to 5.8 until finish. The leaves are starting to change to a yellow and the front and dive have been packing on! Looking forward to the finish and have ordered a rosin press so excited for it all and ready and looking forward to improving and learning from my mistakes this run. 9/11 (Day 86)- Did my final flush this morning and now just running RO water to flush. Just hoping I am not flushing too early. Everything is looking good. Dry tent is set up and ready to roll. I am able to get my area down to around 64. I am actually moving my set up after these girls finish to the room with my dry tent and have a better work area! I’m excited for the next run already! As always any tips or recommendations always appreciated!

Flush week with pure tap water

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I like to flush... So this will be the last week of nutrient for these girls. They will just get ph adjusted tap water for the last 2 weeks. When the water flushes the medium, In the past I've put a meter in the reservoir, the ppm's are about 500ppm for the first week of flush and about 250 the 2nd week of flush. I'm expecting some yellowing leaves then. It's odd that 1/2 of that Pink Kush plant died. I don't think it's got root rot that can spread through the hydroponic system. OK. Keep Growing Straight. I mean this genetics it's excellent ... if I would grow zombie kush again ... good job ripper seed ... she fought and was very strong against the plagues after a beginning outdoors ... she fought against the white fly. worms .. red spider and other insects ... and deserves your recognition ... it will not be the most beautiful plant with its leaves impeccable ... but she is a champion ... thank you ripper seed .. .

Week 22, day 4. 5 weeks after switching to 12/12 lighting. Nr 1 is 155 cm tall from top of soil and Nr 2 is 171 cm. They start to smell a lot and there is like sticky glue all over the plant. Its starting to frost up and the buds are swelling nicely.

Happy I made it to harvest as I know that’s a lot of first growers issue. She’s sticky, funky, and chunky. Nothing bad to say. I definitely learned some things that I’lol be implementing next grow. Probably do another run of Autos from Mephisto as I have a few. But my goal is to get into the Photos, preferably the kushiest of the kushy lol. If anybody has any suggestions of some fire Gas, point me in the direction. More updates to come, so for the next week or so, just monitoring. Stay high growmies!

Hi people! Everyone knows that growing requires patience from the grower! otherwise nothing good will come of it .. and in this case my patience is at the limit)) but I hold on .. I'll tell you why ..)) I'm used to growing my plants using lst topping defoliation and all possible training methods .. (as you can see by reviewing my diaries ..) well, I was planning to do the same on this girl .. at the age of 3 weeks I did Topping .. well, I was planning further LST and all that .. but it is so beautiful that it will grow, grow round and turn into a beautiful round fluffy bush that I felt sorry to touch her and interfere with her natural beauty .. so I got patience and decided not to touch it at all until completion ..) hands itch to cut off at least a leaf! there are a lot of branches with flowers inside)) I just imagine her in buds in a few weeks) and it takes my breath away from understanding how beautiful she will look ..

This was my second grow and i was going with the Velvet Moon and Francos Lemon Cheese from Greenhouse Genetics. Both performed pretty well. One of the Francos is HUGE as fuck. the other two are smaller. One of them sadly i think got some stun in Week 4 of Veg. Dont know what was going wrong. Cause she still looked very healthy. Besides that, the Velvet are very fine, and didnt get like thick stamps. You have to support it a little at the end of Flowering. Cause the Buds gotten pretty Big. Both Genetics are sticky as fuck and grow MUCH faster than Greenhouse said. Most of the Trichomes are already milky a lot of Amber ones are their too. I think mid of week 8 i can go for the Harvest.
