Der erste Strain des Outdoor Grows den ich Euch vorstellen werde ist die Purple Lemonade FF von 2Fast4Buds, eine 60% Sativa die laut FastBuds etwas nebulös als eine Kreuzung aus purple und citrus Cali Genetik beschrieben wird. Egal, sie soll sehr fruchtig und zitronig schmecken und könnte schöne Farben bekommen. Außerdem soll Sie eine kurze Blütezeit haben. Auch sie könnte interessante Farben bekommen. Auf den Geschmack bin ich schon jetzt gespannt, cremiges Haschisch. Mit bis zu 240cm könnte sie die größte im Greenhouse werden und würde dann bis zur Decke wachsen. Die Stecklinge kommen in die Mörtelwannen, die selbst gezogenen kommen in die bereits bewährten 15 und 20 Liter ROOTiES. So kann ich die auch mal direkt in die Sonne stellen. Der erste Steckling ist die Blueberry von Hanfgarten, eine 80% Indica, einer Kreuzung aus Afghan Indica x (Thai Sativa x Mexican Oaxacan Sativa), die nach 8 Wochen Blüte Mitte Oktober fertig sein soll. Außerdem soll sie fruchtig, beerig und süß schmecken. Wenn sie ein ähnliches Aroma hat wie die Wurlz bin ich happy. Mit 9-10 Wochen Blüte steht sie wohl mit am längsten im Greenhouse. Die Aussicht, meine Schätzchen immer im Trockenen zu Wissen, lies mich sofort (also sofort nach einem Recall mit meiner Liebsten) zuschlagen. Danach war nur noch ein teilweiser Umbau unseres Gartens nötig, einen kleinen Weg anders verlegen, ein Fundament ausheben, Bordsteine zersägen, 2 Zentner Beton verbuddeln, Löcher bohren, verdübeln und verschrauben ohne das der Beton ausplatzt, einen haufen Astwerk vom Wein opfern und viel Rasen neu anlegen, das war's schon fast. Neu: Sind auch die zwei 90 Liter Maurerbottiche, in denen sich meine Pflanzen wohlfühlen dürfen, 4x soviel Platz wie im letzten Summer Outdoor Grow. Zur Drainage habe ich Rheinkiesel 9-18 verwendet. Da drauf kam mein altes Erdmischungsrezept mit frischem Kompost von Piluweris, Lehm, den die Wühlmäuse ständig in unserem Rasen aufwerfen und Sand aus'm Kieswerk mit gaaanz viel Staub drinne, praktisch Gesteinsmehl. Auch hier gab's was Neues: Hornmehl zusätzlich, hatich früher schon verwendet und ganz vergessen. Der erste Sack Sonnenerde Hanferde wurde mit der oberen Schicht meiner Mischung vermischt. Der zweite Sack kam dann blank obendrauf. Neu: Für mich ist auch die angewendete Keimmethode noch neu, die Samen zuerst in einem Marmeladenglas mit temperiertem Wasser mit Zusatz von Wasserstoffperoxyd keimen zu lassen. Das ist jetzt das dritte Mal, dass ich diese Methode anwende. Der Vorteil daran ist die superschnelle Keimung, der Keim schaut tatsächlich bereits am nächsten Tag aus der Schale und nach ein oder zwei weiteren Tagen haben sich die Keimlinge von der Samenschale befreit. Das weitere Vorgehen bereitet mir noch Probleme. Ich verwende immer noch die SmartStart Plugs von Zamnesia die ich praktisch halbiere, also von oben nach unten einmal Mittendurch. Dahinein lege ich jetzt den Keimling und klappe die zwei Hälften dann zusammen und pflanze den Plug in den Topf. Neu: In die Wannen kommen zusätzlich Gäste als da wären erprobte und neue sowie überwinterte Chilisorten, verschiedene Basiliken oder -kums, Weiße Melisse, Roter Klee, paar Blumen und so. Tag 64: Im Greenhouse hat es tags bis 40°C bei 24% RLF, heiß und trocken. Die Mörtelwannen bekommen jeden morgen 10 Liter, die Töpfe 2 Liter Brunnenwasser. Abends gibt es noch eine kleine Erfrischung. Nachts hat es 16°C bei 89% RLF, bisle kühl und feucht. Tag 65: Tagestemperatur im Greenhouse heute 41,5°C bei 24%RLF. Für's Wochenende sind Unwetter angekündigt. Nachts kühlt es auf 18°C ab, bei 90% RLF. Tag 66: 42°C bei 20%RLF, die Sonne brennt, dass es auf der Haut richtig unangenehm wird. Nachts 18°C bei 87%. Tag 67: Unwetter gab es einige an diesem Wochenende, bei uns hier im Südwesten gab es in der Nacht ein wenig Regen und am Tag war es wieder heiß. Tag 68: Es ist nicht mehr ganz so heiß, wie die letzten Tage, es hat 34°C bei 44% RLF, Nachts bleibt es bei 18°C und 96% RLF. It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.

Apr 28: all three seeds germinated strongly. Keeping the soil fairly dry this time and will focus on keeping them misted with water. Historically I watered the soil before planting the seed, but I think that likely slows down root formation as my plants always looked slow to start. So, will try it with drier soil this time to see if things start faster. Apr 30: some spring snow. May 3: plants are a bit stretchy so I’m transplanting into bigger pots. Now in 1.5 L (approximately) pots. Used Pro-Mix with about 10~15% compost. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Just chopped last night. About 8oz wet weight. Did a good amount of wet trimming, will do a final manicure once it is dried. This grow has been an absolute blast - the girls were good to me and didn't give me much trouble. I am a man of variety, so I always try new things - so not sure if i will grow it again but if I had to, I wouldn't be mad at all :) Smoked some scissor hash it is sure was tasty! and strong - got me feeling reallllllly nice. Will update in a week or so when it is dried to report on the dry weight. And then some time after that I will report on the smoke once it cures :) UPDATE POST HAND DRY: The plants hung for 6 days, and have now moved into the jars. Dry weight of exactly 2oz. 51g buds, 5g trim. I had no idea that cannabis loses its smell a bit as it dries - so i got super worried at first, only to realize this is normal and the beautiful smell returned shortly. Will continue to update after curing for a taste/effect review. UPDATE ~ 1.5 Weeks into cure: Looking back it think I did too much dry trimming. It had been cold at that time, and I was paranoid about mold. It dried quite quickly, and I might have been out a day too long. I was aiming to get them in jars and have it sit at about 60-65% humidity - but when they went into the jars it never went higher than 54% and kind of settled down at 48%. But the buds aren't crispy by any means, so maybe my humidity meter was off. They do seem a little too dry though - and the buds are definitely quite airy. My grow light is pretty small, so I'm not expecting super dense buds. From what I've read, I'm worried they might have over-dried past the point of "curing"? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this, idk. This is all a learning process and I'm enjoying it regardless. It was my first grow so I definitely have room for improvement within my current setup. I couldn't wait to try it so I've been sampling throughout the curing process. The flavor and scent profiles are definitely changing, and for the better - but it doesn't have that same "dank" smell it had when she was a living plant. Not sure if that's normal, but probably just didn't have the best drying process. Obviously this early, I'm not expecting amazing taste and smell, so let's see how some more time does. I will say it gets me stoned, for sure haha. It's got a nice dark green, purple color too it with a decent amount of thichomes visible. Honestly, the smaller plant (#1) that I stunted early on has a better scent/taste already, versus #2 that looked so good. Not saying #2 is a bust at all either. It has this earthy, almost cheesy flavor profile. Interesting. Back to the effect - it worked to the point where I feel laser-focused writing this update haha. It definitely has a hybrid effect, with a nice euphoric uplift, while helping me relax and ease tension. I'll try to keep updating this as it cures!

It began flowering but it looks like this process is going to be slow, i am hoping to harvest at the end of july. I have made so many mistakes that im as bit worried.

17/MAY/21 D:10: Didn't have any time over the weekend to visit the tent so I was excited/nervous about what state my girls would be in... And wow, she has definitely sprouted up and gained some decent growth. Very happy with how she is growing in my new setup! A very faint odour of the generic weed smell as I opened up the tent door, she is already leaving a weedy smell on fingers after gently inspecting the leaves. Gave her some water and a very light feeding of Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Grow Part A & B 18/MAY/21 D:11: All is well, I keep forgetting to take a dustpan and brush so I can clean the floor 😱 Will make a reminder for next visit. Other than that, she's looking great, Out of seedling phase, and she is slowly starting to veg nicely now 😁 20/MAY/21 D:13: She has packed on a nice amount of foliage, certainly looking so far like a typical Kush bush 😄 I am thinking about planting that Strawberry banana seed daily! 21/MAY/21 D:14: Decided to top her, I am going to leave the fan leaves over the weekend just to help with recovery & growth. I have removed all new growth that would grow into anything other than a fan leaf. I am following "Nugbuckets" mainlining technique, I have found a very useful step by step adaptation of this technique by "Nebula" ( https://www.growweedeasy.com/mainlining-nugbuckets ) A really interesting read, if you haven't I'd suggest checking it out! I have to say, overall out of all 5 purple Lemonade seeds I’m not very happy with the results so far considering they was a little more pricey & the fact that I know how good these plants can turn out! Not sure if I just got some bad genetics or what’s up but pretty bummed about this run so far😅😅 hopefully things will start to look up! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 24 - Decided to pull the smallest purple lemonade that wasn’t doing anything so I can go ahead and get something else going in it’s place! Watered the other ladies today. Day 25 - Ladies are still stretching like crazy!

Super week , hardcore smell !!!!

Hey everyone :-). The last plants were also placed in the bloom chamber kammer. Everyone has made great progress this week 🙏🏻. So outdoors are always so tricky in Illinois. This plant started in mid April when it was warm, then super cold with snow, followed by moderate weather, to be harvested a touch early due to high humidity, drought—followed by days of lots of rain. She suffered bud rot on a few sites and was harvested immediately after to save the rest of the plant. Super frosty, great terps and she survived it all! Literally! Smells like fruit and dough.

Final and longest week lol I dried these lady’s for 7 days in the tent I grew them in. The tent was around 73F-75F temperature. I used a humidifier to keep the humidity in between 55 and 60. I hung them on the trellis netting. Once they dried I trimmed and put them into jars.

20/11 : F+10 22.11 : 1 L of water 24.11: ras 26.11 : 0.75L of fertilizer. No more insects, humidifier + water spray worked :D 27.11 : nothing, ras

I also made a new 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir, there was still 2850 ml in the reservoir, so i can calculate how much they get per watering. Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 21-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 19.3 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 66% (highest) 54% (lowest) No pictures. 22-4 Temperature: 23.7 degrees (lights on) 19.7 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 67% (highest) 42% (lowest) Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 23-4 Temperature: 23.6 degrees (lights on) 17.7 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 50% (lowest)

Empezamos (Día 8) nuestra segunda semana de vegetación de nuestras Sweet Seeds Tropicanna Poison XL. Tienen 13 días de vida desde la germinación y se están regando con un pulverizador con agua de osmosis con CALMAG. Las plantas están creciendo sanas y fuertes y están empezando a desarrollar sus primeras hojas de verdad. Estamos emocionados de ver cómo se desarrollan en las próximas semanas. 👽
