Hey everyone! 👋 Another week and another update, and in this week I finally flipped my babies! (and it wasn't a failed attempt) 😍 They are now in the 12/12 cycle and I must say last week's recovery was crucial to finally do it! Besides of all that this week was quite uneventful compared to the other ones (which I suppose is a good thing! 😝) The only things worth mentioning besides what I already wrote is that I overfed my babies (double dosage) but it seems they took them well and that Boomer and her sisters (specially Boomer) get thirsty really fast compared to before... which means I need to water them more frequently which isn't terrible. Man, I whipped these girls into shape! They got an amazing lolipoping~! its hard to sacrifice some of those branches but they look so much better for it and i hope it better allocates the plants resources! Did a big defoliation that really changed the way they look!

Today was the day, unfortunately about a week in advance because of an infestation of Mites that reached the buds of all 4 plants left. After reasoning, interrogating AI and watching a video, I had to harvest in advance and I decided to do a washing with H2O2 as per this video explanation of Jorge Cervantes, available at this link (https://youtu.be/S7jE7qzfgQs?si=eC6klOXkWz9eBJO3). Got myself some new genetics for the next run after the badazz og and Bubba cheesecake. Both Ethos Dip n stax and Capjunky x Endgame #3 special limited edition 🙏🙏 Once the Pyschoberry cheese is ready ill scrog 2x Bubba and 1 Badazz Og in the 3x3 should be within the next week or two 💪

Well I let them go on for another week in the end and I don’t know whether I’m just used to the smell but I definitely have noticed a decline in the loudness of these girls. I’m not ‘flushing’ as much as just giving them water and terpinator for the last couple of weeks to help them fade and finish off. More amber trichomes than I usually have, so these are perfectly ripe I’d say. The additional lights I added to the bottom of the plants definitely worked in maturing the buds but they also made them foxtail and push out pistils and seemed a bit forced. Also needed to account for the extra heat that 3 x small LED strips (approx 25w) so I decided as I wound down the main light to 10.5/13.5 I would turn those off entirely for the last few days. Decided to harvest all the plants together simply because it makes my life easier, believe it or not? Even though the Gorilla Zkittlez could’ve perhaps gone another week even. Oh well. Drying and curing is always an anxious time for me and the aromas are not as pungent as I’d hoped, but let’s hope this bud comes out nice because as this has been a long run due to the cold weather hampering veg early on.

This girl was too bushy, I had to defoliate twice during the veg due to lack of space in my grow room. believe me, she is big!

OMG OMG OMG finding hard to put on words all i am felling with this one, she was a delight to grow and without trying yet her medicine she wen strait to my top 3, i mean super strong Mama, strong to everything pests you name it, amazing structure her terpene profile is taking me back to the 90s with her almost like gasoline smell mixed with limes and pines OMG cant wait to try out this one much but much respect to DutchPassion on this creation of them she is so so so , like glue that you cant touch without getting it everywhere <3 <3 haded the last 3 weeks and harvest time-lapse i fell like this one could have gone more than the 71 days in flower that she did, but there is no time for that in this run but i will run her again thats for sure and a must for me. 2 Girls 1 Cup week 8 is it?? Looks like GC is on week 4 still 🤣. Day 49- big defol on GC tonight, mild prune on the right side also. Few strategic plucks on WG to help share the light evenly. My fingers are sticky asf and STINK like lemon/lime and gas. Changed RES yesterday, modified week 3 GHE bloom medium feed. Breakdown as follows: 5 gal tap/RO 20mL calmag Micro - 26.5mL Grow - 26.5mL Bloom - 41mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1148 @ 5.63 ====================================================================================================================== Day 50- where to start.... fuck.. well, i was wondering if my TDS was accurate or not. never checked it against another meter until today... and lets just say its been OFF the whole damn time!! i tested it against two other meters. one cheapo from amazon, and one from a zero water pitcher. TDS reading from each in order from current>amazon>zerowater.. 930, 642, 616. checked online and they are all on the 500 scale. so i dialed the "current" meter back to 616 to match the brand new zero water meter. never really trusted the cheapo amazon one TBH.. went ahead and topped off with 1.5L and gave them a 1/1/2 mL shot of M/G/B to boost the RES numbers a bit. currently sitting at 662 @ 5.84. so i guess GHE calculations havent been anywhere near the ballpark like i thought. maybe they were using the same damn meter i have currently, set EXACTLY as far off as mine was from factory 🤣. IDKWTF happened there, but its a good thing i started light and worked up following their signs. even though the meter was off, it was still giving me information that was useable. should have left it where it was, but my OCD would haunt me until it was adjusted. plucked a few on WG tonight and left my fingers sticky and stinky. GC keeps stretching, refusing to hit full flower still.. Sorry Herbies, i know you all exaggerate the finish times... but come on now lol... theres no way this one would finish in the time they state online.. FastBuds Wedding Glue on the other hand... she may be short, but shes STOCKY. she'll just get fatter too. who knew i liked fat chicks?? ====================================================================================================================== Day 51- few plucks here and there on WG. have to be careful now because these leaves are what's going to last the next few weeks. Can't take too many, can't leave it closed up. Since I won't be able to flush, i may do a multi harvest on WG and give GC a lil more time to hurry TF up and do her thing. I hate waisting... anticipation is building for the end. Not only to see these girls come to a finish.. but to set up the new system "correctly". Using things learned in this experiment. ====================================================================================================================== Day 53- not much to report other than the typical random strategic plucks on WG and more abuse to GC. been adding a booster to the RES every other top off. Ends up being once a day. One top off calmag'd water, one calmag'd water with a 0/1/2mL (M/G/B) per L added. Gave em a .5mL bump of M today since I've only been boosting it with G & B for the last 2 days. *edit* my dumbass forgot to set timelapse interval from 3sec to 45sec and the vid is 1.8gb long.. going to just skip today's footage. ====================================================================================================================== Day 55- GC is trying to catch up from the looks of it. It's like 3 weeks behind schedule 🤣🤣. Was going to defol the shit out of it again, but may leave it for another day or two. Once it takes WG's sun, it's getting snipped again. Forgot to mention more GC abuse from yesterday, or the day before. Didnt take a pic so I'm leaving it up to my memory. kinda accidently, purposely, tripped and precisely stabbed the main with some pointy tweezers... about half way in, and may have accidently twisted a bit before and while pulling it out... oops.. what's a lil more stress on GC right?? Maybe I'll have to trip every so many days and see if it has a positive effect 🤣. Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Soaked in water for 18 hours and then planted into pot . 24 hours on and she’s broke the surface . So keen for this one it’s my fave smoke

Start of week 7. I think I will just feed water this week. I have lots of nutes still in the soil and leaves. They wont get much water this week maybe 1 or 2 flushes. Next week I wanted to experiment with light deprivation, as well as crank my A/C as high as possible. May even split one of the stems to see if it makes a difference. 12/12/18 Everything looking good. No problems, the ladies as super frosty and the smell is intense. Impatience is starting to kick it. So tempted to take a tester bud. But that's a waste.

Just another photo dump lol This girl is proving to be a slow finish for me. Going on to week 16 now and I’ve decided to give her the flush as her trichs are all starting to go amber. I felt I’ve traded enough potency for yield now and I don’t think she’s really racking on much more weight. This might be the last update until after harvest. Up until it’s time to trim and jar. Wish me luck folks. I’m thinking I’ll be close to a half pound of this fatty 😍😂

Flowers got really dense like bricks, also the lower ones. Felt like starting the flush at the point I’m at to have the cleanest smoke possible. Have around 2 weeks to go, or till i have strong yellowing. Flushing with terpinator, flowers still getting bigger.

Getting solid and developing a lot of orange pistils and the tricomes are lookings super frosty. About 2 weeks left then out to the moon we go!!! Hope its a good grade (quality high), I decided to make Velevet because the flowers looked beautiful to not try out. This will be the last feed then flushed for the next feed. Going to drench it until it reaches a desirable ppm level in the soil. That would make it start eating itself sucking out all the nutrients providing a smooth smoke and a great after taste. When you dont flush you get a better taste and why would you want to smoke nutrients? Gotta make the leave turn yellow then you know its good. This is almost the end and thankfully its been going good so far, see you soon!!!
