November 25th: I did some defoliation throughout the week. Water only, still. Decided to leave the fasciation flower, let's see how it grows. Lights are officially at 100% Giving BuildABloom every other water starting tomorrow. UPDATE! The light timer took a shit and blasted the plants for 24 hours straight, from this week until the first of December. Accidental monster cropping for the win! 🙄

Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. Day 56-63 (Day 57) I might have to fix the light to the roof of the tent so I can get another 3 inches up. The ppfd is just too intense at this height. The node stacking is super tight, I’m seeing some droop on almost every plant and the plants just look stunted. I might have to take out the big shelf I just paid 90$ for and raise the light to get the ppfd level down. This happened my last grow as well. It’s a great light for flowering but sucks ass for veg unless it’s hung 5’ above the canopy. I’ve seen videos of others with the same light and they have to fix it to the roof. The dimming function only works with a master controller I don’t have the money for right now. Pulling bbb #2. I’m seeing very small but clear pollen sacks. It’s also drooping like crazy. The roots don’t look as healthy as some of the other males I pulled earlier. They have a slight brown tinge but still mostly white. I wonder if I accidentally gave top dressed it too many times when I mixed them all up a while ago. I’m going to transplant bbb’s #1, #3, #6 & #7 into my 10 gallon destiny/coco pots lightly water. This is kind of a gamble because 2 of them are not showing definitively. Although I’m about 75% sure they’re fems. If not, I got my two backups. (Day 58) I was reading about symptoms of high PH and I definitely have it indicated by the twisted and stunted growth on top. I’m going to try to water in a full gallon at 5.8 and see if I get a good response. I sprayed the pump nozzle directly into the soil after it was empty to put some oxygen into that big 10g pot. The blackberry I gave the lowered PH water too noticeably responded within a few hours. The clawing has pretty much stopped and it now looks like the healthiest plant in the tent. I’m going to see how it responds over the next few days then try it with my other plants if everything looks good. I’m going to try it with bbb #5 in the 1.7g pot and see if it responds in the same way. I ran a gallon of 5.8 water through 1.7g and got less than a 100ml of runoff which is a little surprising. The runoff measured 1750ppms which seems a little on the high side but isn’t insane for peat based soil. (Day 59) Wow. The plants responded to that little PH adjustment insanely well. #5 isn’t dropping at all and the leaf wrinkles are actually flattening out. It’s starting to look like one of the healthiest plants in the tent. I’m still hoping for #5 to show female. 5 plants would cut my veg time down and give me another opportunity for a keeper pheno. All 4 plants are looking like they’ve already recovered from their transplant. #1 in particular was drooping like crazy yesterday and today it’s bounced back and looking happier than ever. I’m seeing a bit of tip droop on a few plants but they still seem fine I wonder if because my soil is 50% coco I should try watering on the acidic side, around 6.0-6.2 from now on. I’m almost certain that solved all the issues I was having. (Day 62) Plants are all looking really healthy. They all seem to have outgrown the initial light stress actually but node stacking is still really tight and I hope to raise the light up next week sometime. I’m going to drop the humidity to 60% for the rest of veg. These pots are massive and I’m still a little worried about dry downs but they aren’t showing any signs of overwatering or lack of oxygen. BBB#3 is starting to show some weird discoloring like an mag or nitrogen deficiency. Which is weird because it’s freshly transplanted into nitrogen rich soil. Guess I will give it a kelp foliar spray. I’ve been looking for a good organic source of K without an absurd amount of magnesium and sulfur like langbeinite has. I found some 0-0-15 kelp/seaweed extract in soluble crystal form. So from time to time I will water that in at half strength or with compost teas to keep my soil K dominant. (Day 63) I’m still waiting on #6 to show sex. I am shocked it hasn’t shown sex yet. Although it was started a week and a half after the others but still. I’m going to be so pissed if it ends up being a male. I’m taking a gamble but I’m confident it will show female when the time comes. bbb#3 got a little more color back from that foliar spray. Hope that doesn’t get worse because it’s my favorite pheno so far. I will give a N boost in the form of compost tea tomorrow afternoon to both of my tents. I’m starting to utilize the scrog net and boy does it make training way easier. This seems to be a much smarter style of growing for yield and quality. I’m getting tired of these pH fluctuations every time I water. I’ve been eyeballing for the most part and I need a consistent formula. I found the perfect mix to stabilize my RO water and stabilize the pH at 6.2. I moistened the top soil of each plant and will watch for any reactions. Water recipe: 60ml bottled water 2000ml RO water 3ml calmag 2ml microbes

The plant is just "keep on keeping on". Looks beautiful and is nearing the scrog. It is also nearing time for a second round of topping. I plan on keeping the Gold Leaf in veg for a while as the auto is running on 24, so trying to get close as possible to harvest for the auto before I flip the lights. Aiming for an xmas yield for the gold leaf. I also performed some super cropping this week. Wish i had take close up photos on the branches, it work like a charm. The plant growth really took off. In some of the photos you can see the branches are a bit twist and recovering from the super cropping.

All jarred up. This stuff is amazing tasting. Super smooth and tastes like real strawberry. 10 out of 10 fastbuds nailed this one.

Sweet Bourbon Kush auto has exploded in growth in the last week. She got her second heavy dose of lst today. She is looking pretty strong, and healthy. Hopefully it continues. Die Wurzeln entwickeln sich auch weiterhin gut auch wenn sie nicht Weiß sind und im Eimer das Wasser auch mal knapp wird, Sie trinkt sehr viel. In dieser Woche habe ich an der Money Maker wenig gemacht außer das ich die Dünger Komponenten auf die nächste Phase der Blüte geändert habe. Voodoo, Tarantula, Piranha und Bud Ignitor habe ich abgesetzt und B-52 und Tasty Terpenes zum Dünge Schema aufgenommen. HELLO ALL, I HAVE ONE OF MY PLANT WHICH LOOKS LIKE READY TO HARVEST, SHOULD I CUT HER NOW ?? Day74 Based on all advises I had, I will let them another 2 weeks

Started flushing

08/10 - 10l nute water top up, then I noticed her leaves had some spotting which identified as nitrogen toxicity. Dumped the res, ran clean ph water for a couple hours, dumped that res and then refilled at 32% strength. 25ml Micro, 4ml Grow, 35ml Bloom. Will see how she does. 09/10 - PH bumped to 5.8. 10/10 - PH has been plummiting, but I think my pens busted. Ordered a new one next day. Topped off with 8l of water at 40%. 11/10 - PH pen was indeed busted. New one just arrived and PH was around 4.7. I've now bumped it back up to 5.8. 13/10 - Full Res Change. Ran ph water for 3h to try and flush some N before adding 25ml Micro, 5ml Grow, 40ml Bloom. PH at 5.75, EC at 1.15. Some leaves at the top of the canopy are dying off due to the Nitrogen tox causing Cal lockout which is unfortunate, but hopefully she gets back on track with the nutes dropped back somewhat. Shes still growing, now at 11" from the light, and the buds are fattening up decently. 14/10 - Ph and EC stable! Debating a W6 flower defol.

So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!
