Day 74 - Cheese - Been watering with only clean ph every 3-4 days and watching the trichomes. They're mostly cloudy with no amber. Just gonna keep watching and letting it swell. Super Lemon Haze - Buds are coming in nicely. Purple leaves coming in near the top. Gets cold in the basement at night, so I'm not surprised with a bit of colour change. The tip burn doesn't seem to be moving too fast on the leaves it effected and the rest of the growth is coming in nicely. I Think there should be only a few weeks left now, so probably one more nutrient feed and onto flush as well. End of week 11 - For my first grow, I've already made it far past my expectations. Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 12 June 8-14 FLOWER 7 Sadly, my journey with Frostbanger is almost over. This grow started as an unnamed FBA2502 tester strain completely unknown regarding growth habits, size, flavor profile or smoke effect. I used LST on two plants: #1 because she was leaning over so I decided to pin her down immediately. I decided to LST Plant #3 when I saw her nodes were short and stems were tight. To quote Fastbuds “Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition” , making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. I mention this because 2 plants #4 & #5 always looked lighter than their counterparts. Having overfed in the past grows, I did not want to repeat the same mistake, especially when the other plants were lush and green and did not look deficient. I thought it was genetics, but I found out that these two plants probably had nutrient lockout and would have benefitted from a good flush. Overall, I didn’t make mistakes with overfeeding or over trimming. I had to manually control the environment since the ventilation went out. I did pretty good at maintaining a functional environment. Plants #2 & #5 developed pretty reds in their upper buds and leaves probably because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots on each plant. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. For most of the sugar leaves I trimmed off the ends leaving the base with all the frost. These are going into the trim bag to be washed into bubble hash. This week was all about letting her recover from the cloning. Sadly most clones I took did not made it. Just 2 survived my inexperience hands. The good news is that miss Daisy it's doing so well I may be able to give it another try before flipping to flower. I have no rush for this harvest so will probably give it a try. After the cloning and some extra pruning she recovered in no time. Good week, I think I am done tucking the scrog for this run, screen has filled out reasonably well and am happy with all the room variables. I did add some beneficial bacteria as my ph spiked a few times and my res tank felt a little slimy.. so fingers crossed that takes care of that.

Just watering now, no more feeds. Lots of leaves dying off but trichomes are still clear. Will wait another week to see what happens. She smells very good indeed.

Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

Week6 of bloom, feeding Cal-mag+Floranova Bloom, both at 1tsp/gal. Each plant receives a glug or two from a 1gallon mixture. Runoff is removed. New Clones of different phenos have entered the arena! Happy growing!

Girls are growing and growing , gave them another trim as they seem to bounce back 10x harder and bushier lol! Starting to think there may be one to many girls in there so hoping everything stays on track or I'm going to need to upgrade their house! Still unsure on doing a sog or using it as a spacer , sorry about the double photos on both diaries , one of the granddaddy purple plants somehow ended up at the back of the tent when one of the super skunk started tailing off and we had to rearrange their place in the tent , not much to report flowers are coming through nicely 😁 Happy growing 😎

I added some hazel nut shells as a mulch and so far I think I'll let her grow as she is without LST. As I noticed - not sure if it's true or not - that outdoor LST stunned 2 of my plants. Whereas a really weak at the beginning plant - without leaves up to 3 nodes - right now outgrew both champs. I transplanted BPP weird enough, so now she leans to the side so much. That's because I am used to LST and like to have some room for a plant to lay on the ground. But this time I holding my hands to not to do any LST and let her grow naturally. Day 26 - I sprayed fungicide on her, because many times ended up with botrytis
