This week has gone well, had a bunch of stuff typed out and closed my browser by mistake and now this is #2 attempt to post this week. Easy week for the plants, they have being growing well and I am impressed by the size of them. I added in some potassium silicate to introduce some Si into this grow. I decided to top them as they where starting to grow their 4th node, snipped that tip off and we're golden. They are kinda smelly if you rub them and that's fun too, Some of the hot peppers have also popped up and started growing. I still don't have anything on the Naga Morich pepper that I am hoping for. I have a feeling that as the seeds I got from these peppers where from a dehydrated pepper, they might be duds nuked from the dry heat of the dehydrator. I do have 4 vials of hot pepper seeds where the label has fallen off, I found the labels but no idea what one goes on what bottle. One out of the four bottles is Naga Morich, Having some none dehydrated seeds in my possession is one step closer to getting more of this hottie. I also found a fly out of no where, Its little wing is damaged and it more or less hops and glides unsuccessfully vs fly's but I took some videos of it. I also seen a few fungus gnats, little fuckers where not in my apartment before I am convinced their eggs survive in the stuff I buy then come out of it. Kinda annoying. PLUS I borrowed a light meter from my hydro shop, I was expecting it to be a LUX meter and that I would have to do a bunch of conversions but it was not, it was a legit Quantum Par Sensor, detecting in PPF "Photosynthetic Photon Flux" or umols/s, with these readings I can calculate my PPFD "PPF+Density" I have mapped out my tents floor into a colour coded grid of dots and mapped out the PPF at varying heights and dims. However I did not do it right and need to redo this. But once this is done I will have a functioning PPFD map with relation to my tent. This will help me tone in DLI and get it aorund a solid 35-40. Will be gearing up for a transplant next week. I try and post on Fridays but don't always get around to it. I take the pics on that date though and then try and remember what I was going to write about that week. PS Gorilla Tent Accessory's suck shit. The SCROG nets pic has the gorilla 2x4 SCROG net "black" and the Secret Jardin 2x4 SCROG net "white" beside it. massive difference in quality and size. I should have known when they state on the label its for 2x2 or 2x4, that's not even possible. Also tried out the nutrient line that's part of the gorilla tent company, Lotus, I ran it one year and it was just trash, did not work, had issues since first week and they would not correct. Buddy reached out to me and said same thing happened to him and he disliked the brand. Big shoutout to Medic Grow for sponsoring the lighting in my tent, They have provided me with 2x Mini Sun 2's in the 240w configuration, They use the v1 growing spectrum that is a all purpose seed to harvest spectrum so their is no hassle of switching it mid grow. Greetings, fellow growers! Week 5 has brought us to a pivotal moment in our Anesia pheno hunt journey as we embark on the transformative process of topping our thriving beauties. Let's delve into the world of topping and explore the magic behind this essential technique. Topping is a fundamental aspect of plant training, involving the removal of the apical meristem, or main growth tip, to encourage lateral growth and bushier plant development. By snipping away the topmost growth, we redirect the plant's energy towards the lower branches, stimulating new growth and increasing overall yield potential. It's like giving our plants a strategic haircut, with the promise of fuller, more abundant foliage in return. But topping isn't just about increasing yield – it's also about promoting a more balanced and uniform canopy, ensuring that light penetration is maximized and no precious photons go to waste. With each well-placed snip, we're sculpting our plants into lush green masterpieces, ready to flourish under the glow of our Future of Grow LED lights. Speaking of lights, maintaining optimal environmental conditions is key to our plants' success. That's why we've raised our TDS to 420 and adjusted our pH to a precise 5.8 using our trusty Blue Lab Guardian monitor. This advanced monitoring system allows us to keep a close eye on nutrient levels and pH fluctuations, ensuring that our plants receive the perfect balance of nutrients for optimal growth and health. It's like having a guardian angel watching over our garden, guiding us towards horticultural excellence. And let's not forget the satisfying sight of water droplets glistening on freshly topped plants. These tiny droplets are more than just a visual treat – they serve as a gentle reminder of our care and attention to detail, ensuring that our plants receive the hydration they need to recover and thrive. It's a moment of zen in the midst of our bustling garden, a testament to the beauty of nature and the joys of cultivation. With each passing week, our Anesia pheno hunt grows more exciting, and I can't wait to see what the future holds. Stay tuned for more updates, more growth, and more green goodness as we continue to cultivate joy and growth together in our Green Oasis! This was an explosive growth week, usually always is for me between week 3 & 4 is where I see the outcome of the early LST at week 3 which in most cases I doubt myself still to this day. If you look at day 15 she looks like she’s been through some weird transformation. Now here we are exactly the outcome I was expecting. By the formation and structure of this beauty, I can already say she will be a beast. I’ve now LST all other tops and will ensure to keep an even canopy with regards to height and remove foliage that inhibits lower sites from receiving adequate lighting. I prefer having 80% top tier AAA grade cannabis by using this technic (will requires lollipopping and removing lower nods in 2 weeks time) then having bigger yields but more popcorn buds, less density etc. Week 5 will see the introduction of Liquid Weight (natural sugars) to aid with the flower formation, essential carbohydrates the plant needs for good bud development. Pre-flowers have started but I will maintain Veg nutrients for now and switch the Bloom once the flowering is more prominent.

D89 (18/02/2021): Copy paste of last week... I think max one week and she is done 😁 I gave around 2L of tap water. Glue Gelato is dry and in jar since one week. I did not move back Banana Kush in the tent since I was sure it was her last week. At this point I should have move her back in the tent. I think being in the closet might have slow her down since there is no reflective wall but at least the environment conditions are good. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - water: 2L of tap water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D90 (19/02/2021): I can definitely see more resin gland forming on buds and can also tell that the calyx are swelling nicely. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D91 (20/02/2021): I gave 1.75L of tap water. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - water: 1.75L, PH7.5 - RH in the closet: 33-35% D92 (21/02/2021): I checked the trichomes and they are more abundant. It's beautiful to see the buds becoming frostier day by day 😍 - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D93 (22/02/2021): She is starting to show some amber trichomes but not enough. I will let her some days to ripen but she is close to harvest! - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D94 (23/02/2021): I gave 3L of tap water. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - water: 3L, PH7.5, 130PPM - RH in the closet: 33-35% D95 (24/02/2021): Trichomes are all cloudy with some ambers. Due to a timing issue, I will need to chop her this weekend in two or three days. Yesterday I did reduce light intensity to 50% power. She will pass 2 days with this light intensity and then 2 days in complete darkness. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D96 (25/02/2021): I will not change for week 14 since she is going into darkness tonight for two more days. Trichomes are not exactly where I would like. More ambers would be better but at least they are all milky white with some amber. She's at her peek in term of THC potency. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D97 (26/02/2021): 24h into complete darkness is done - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 35-40%

3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. I Topped a little, I Defoliated some and started taking a good look at what I would like to take for clones in the coming days. I have a few bottom branches that look every promising for my clone material on each. 3/31/2023 Week 6- Day 7 of Veg (Day 58 overall) #3 is at 16" Tall #2 is at 13" Tall

My 2 permanent marker plants they are loving the light being turned up they are praying constantly there internodes are so close together they have not stretched out very far yet. I'm thinking they are going to be on the short end but who knows some plants do complete opposite when they hit the flower strech. I still have not gotten the nutrients down for the one plant I'm thinking when I flip to flower it will it will turn around nicely I love the shaoe and look of it's leaves. The day has come and it's time to flip these ladies to flower. I was planning on letting them go untill Friday and let the smaller ones grow just a bit more but they will be fine. I have the eternity cup contest in mind and I'm thinking timing so I need to get these lady done and out my tent lol. This past week I turned the light up alot getting them ready to flower they have grown a bunch inhavendone lst maybe 5 it 6 times on the branchs and they arw nit bendy anymore that will help durring flower.

CBD Caramel is still doing stellar and is at the top of the class as far as height. Still getting a little bug damage tho, so I sprayed with neem oil, again. Going to water in some Big Bloom and Molasses later. Really good week.

Day 43 let's start week 7! the plants grow and continue to stretch. unfortunately two weeks ago my ph meter broke. last week I started giving 1ml / l of green sensation and the plants seem to have lightened a lot. these days i should have the ph meter back so i can check. all in all they seem to grow well apart from this "yellowing". Day 44 the pH pen arrived and I discovered the cause of the yellowing. the ph was about 5 😭😭😭 now I let it dry well and brought the ph back to 6.7 and given 0.5 l and I wait for it to dry again keep following me to see my progress. it is my first growth and I make many mistakes, leave a like and give me an opinion or advice to improve. good luck and happy day!🌱💚

Hello growers! Tonns of defoliation and branch management this week. I added 2nd pack of stretching wires I actually don't know how to manage THAT amount of branches Shall we count this stage as a flower or veg. Well, it's transitioning At the beginning of the week PPM was 1040, by the end it's 1700+ It's hard to maintain correct level, when we add water, not changing it, i wanted to add more bloom nutrients. And she dinks well now.

Growing this strain was such a pleasure! I vegged her for quite a bit at 86 days as I started her along with a dozen Autoflowers that were growing in my 4x8 tent. I wanted to wait until the Auto's finished up so that when I flipped the Meringue into flower I could move her into the 4x8 which has better environmental control, more light and co2 supplementation which I wanted to take advantage of to bring out the full potential of this awesome strain! From germination through the Fourth Week of Veg she grew in my 4x4 under a HLG Blackbird light set to 300W at the wall, on a 19/5 light schedule and was given only de-chlorinated water with FishShit Soil Conditioner added. I then switched her over to Dutch Pro nutrients for the remainder of the grow. She handled up to 1400ppms 2.8 EC of nutrients without skipping a beat and ended up with a marvelous dark maroon coloration with hints of red that were contrasted by the heavy, frosty coating of glistening trichomes she produced throughout the last 5 weeks of her 9 week flower, four of which she received 4 hours a day of supplemental UVA light. Once in the 4x8, I trellised off half of the tent and placed her under it. Once she was acclimated to her new home which only took two days, I flipped her light to 12/12 to induce flowering and sat back to watch the 'show' begin! By Week Two of flower she nearly had half of the 4x8 covered wall to wall! Keep in mind that she does have really wide node spacing so prepare yourself for daily 'leaf tucking' to ensure adequate light penetration through her canopy. All in all she was an absolute joy to grow and provided some of the most beautiful, pungent, dense and sticky flowers that I love so very much! I've cultivated this strain several times now and would recommend it, especially to experienced growers as sometimes she can be a bit finicky. The breeder recommends 30-45 day veg and advertises an 8 week flower. I vegged her for 86 days and flowered her for a full 9 weeks, the last two of which had the light cycle dropped to 10/14 to further induce trichome production (which along with the 72hrs. of dark apparently worked) which is a reminder to you new guy's that Breeder times are not 'cut in stone' and are a 'general recommendation'. Always know your plant and check the trichomes to determine exactly when the ideal harvest time has arrived as so many variables can affect harvest times. Grow Strong! 😎💚💚💚
