Ciao growers ... I didn't think I would have come to continue this diary, because, as you can see in the picture, there were some problems that made me change my ideas ... After spraying the two plants (plus one in the diary "Cookies On The Kush" ) with a 3: 1 mix of neem oil + potassium soap, causes thrips ... these parasites have been defeated yes, but at a high price ... they must have reacted badly to the compound, triggering a phytotoxic reaction ... .I'm not a scientist or a biologist or anything like that, but reading online I think this was the cause ... because the leaves would seem to be eaten by caterpillars or the like, but this is not the case ... On girls I had also just done a Topping on one and a FIM on the other, before finding myself forced to spray them 😌...so, a lot of stress.... Well in the end, after they looked like they were dying, they recovered in growth, and now I have done a transplant in a geotextile pot from 20 l, consisting of about 50% Lightmix-3 0% cocomix-10% humus-10% perlite.. As soon as the transplant was done I gave them about 4 ml of root juice in 4l of h2o, in total divided by the two of them ... It will be a diary "random" / artistic/i don't know 😅".... I want to" play "a little bit about the malformation that they have suffered ... now I'm doing some tying so a bit for fun ... we'll see what comes out of it ... for sure they will be very particular .. ... to the next update ... thanks that you read, and I hope you like it 😉... Starting week 7 in heat. What a weather ! 30°C ! But how are they pretty despite that hot temperature 💋 They are soldiers ! They will be the best of all time, they will beat that heat 💪💪💪 They will stay strong and elegant until Harvest. No one will defeat these Gorilla and Pineapple flowers. Light everywhere, excellent bio nutrients and CO2 against this dark weather. This will be the weapons of my plants. LET'S FIGHT !!!!🤝

27cm vertical growth this week!!!!!! Surprising! First watering with 6-12-36 powder mixed at 1g/Litre Very bushy as well. I can see me strategically clipping a few leaves in the weeks to come to make sure all flower sites receive sufficient light.

Shortest pheno has purple stigmas. Defoliating every couple days. The pheno in the front middle didn't grow as many shoots, plant structure looks different than the other 4. Has a musky smell.

8/8 may chop and clean all equipment and tent. 8/10 she looks A little better. i still can't tell if it's pm or something else on the update. spider mites. ending this grow

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

Love every plant each one is growing differently stacking different even the visual difference of one strain growin two different ways combined smells of diesel, pez candy and lemons

Week 7 Day 43) Flushed again cuz ph lockout , looks like it was to low n nitrogen n calcium r getting in, also fed some recharge, also was over feeding Day 44) realizing I got so much to learn, ph lockout is fixed because the calcium rust stopped and it’s getting dark green so i think it’s good I plan to feed some bloom nutes wensday. Defiolated @ 1am and lst Day 45) hopefully her ph is balanced Day47 ) notice the rusting and dying of leaves plus nute burn, flushed again 3 gallons then gave recharge

Day 42-49 (Day 43) I was at the dollar store today and I found the best little plant risers. And they all link together in perfect 12” squares. Fits in my tent perfectly and only spent 15 bucks. That should help the dry downs quite a bit. I’m going to transplant the euro genetics into 1.7g pots with amended sunshine mix #4 for their final containers. I moved all of the non-marijuana seedlings into a small greenhouse out of my tent so I have some more space and light per plant. I also set up an exhaust fan to keep the humidity at a perfect 65-70% night and day. (Day 44) Everything is looking a little nute burned and droopy. The garlics are showing signs of overwatering and nitrogen toxicity. They look like they want to flower so badly. Node spacing is weirdly short too. I picked up the American genetics to look for roots and they were busting out of the bottom. They’re definitely not rootbound as they’re not even a foot tall yet. This is likely from having soil that is too compact (from using too much rock dust and not enough drainage) causing my waterings to not even reach the bottom of the pot. This was also happening to my other grow. I will make sure to very lightly pack soil into pots for now on because you can always add more later. I’m going to fluff up the pots and see if I can loosen the soil a bit. If that doesn’t work I’m going to look at transplanting into 3g fabric pots and lightly shaking off most of the old soil. Luckily I added a shit ton of drainage for the euro genetics when I amended the sunshine mix so they won’t need a transplant. (Day 46) The fluffing didn’t do much. In fact it might have made it worse lol. I just went to the store and bought some Destiny Organics soil and have decided to transplant. I dusted off 90% of the old soil down to root ball which will cause an insane amount of stress to the plants. The plants started in the aero garden were being choked out by the shitty sponge plug it was germinated in. I took a razor blade and carefully cut them down the middle so the stem can expand. I might have cut a few major roots one or two plants. Other than that everything is transplanted. I cut all my amendments in half and I packed the soil very loosely this time. The situation is not ideal by any means but I’m hoping they will bounce back in the next week. This should at least set them up for a more successful flower. I can’t really expect much quality from botched run but who knows. I might come out with some fire. Since this is my last grow here I don’t even have to pay the power bill for the next few months! (I have a very generous landlord as he’s letting me finish my grow until mid September now 😂) (Day 47) I’m going to give them their first good watering and test my fluffy soil. I watered in approximately 700mls each making sure it soaks to the bottom of the pot. (Day 49) All the plants have bounced back except for the ones with root damage. They are still looking droopy and sad. The black garlic #1 has recovered really nicely and is looking happier than ever. The apical growth tip is so tight it has like 4 nodes within an inch somehow. I recently learned that hormones contained in kelp and seaweed extracts can act as plant growth inhibitors and shorten node spacing drastically. I only added a very small amount of kelp meal to the soil so it must be leftover from the previous foliar sprays Velokelp. I’m going to pinch the top off bg1 and see if the lowers can catch up. Sucks to do that so close to flip but oh well. The euros are looking fully recovered from their burn a little while ago. The sunshine mix is quite thick and water retentive as well but at least it has some extra drainage. They’re all looking quite healthy.

07.11 New flower week is here, for now all going good, still cant wait to see final product and how big and tick buds can be, but ride is joyfull and exciding. Watering 1.3 l all 3 with nutrients and cal-mag, ph 6.2-6.5( i got ph meter without calibration fluid) but how much time i did mesuring i know how big ph is after i get water from tap [7.5-7.9(did mesuring 120 times minimum, before nutrients, after nutrients and after i add down if i need)] and yea, dont see much differnts on plants in few days without ph meter, but he is here in case, better check up,air flow is good , humidity good(above light zone 45-55%, down by plants 55-65%) and temp day 25°-27°,night 18°-24°. I adjust pots every day 2 times minimum so every side get some correct light in all parts( maybe silly but i think its not anything bad to keep every side in some parts of day better lighted). Wish me best for tomorrow i will need it, and them also in rest of the grow proces🍀💪🏻🍀🤞🏻🙏🏻 08.11 Today they was out to get some neem spray and see bit of light till weather is not bad, and to not spray in tent, better photos then last time i guess, they look happy and healty, today no watering i saw that soil is not dry 09.11 Today's subject..watering 1.3l pro plant with nutrients and cal mag, ph 6.2- 6.4. Last week was fantastic, they grow a lot, they are now in full flowering. im dealing with the management of the new and bigger colas, im thinking of putting the same orange fence on top and using it as a ScrOG trainer, ill try this in the next few days , ill put more pictures with the testing.
