8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. EDIT: WATERED THE TENTH PLANET AND THE LATE SOECIAL KUSH 1 GAL. PLAN ON FEEDING TOMORROW. I DID A SHIT TON OF DEFOLIATION. I DEFOLIATED MORE AND THEN "SPOT TREATED" A FEW LEAVES ON A BOTTOM BRANCH OF THE 10TH PLANET WITH MITE X. I'M WAITING UNTIL THE MORNING TO SEE THE RESULTS AND BEFORE I MOVE FORWARD. I HAVE ORGANOCIDE BEE SAFE AND I KNOW IT WORKS GOOD BUT IT SMELLS LIKE SHIT. IM HOPING ILL FIGURE THIS OUT. 8/24 Didn't have time to do a video or take any pictures. I pit a lot of work in the garden yesterday. I removed a couple small branches that had mold on the stem. If I had listened to my intuition and moved that plant (instead of listening to my dad) I probably could've negated this mess. Windy as hell yesterday. Maybe that's why I don't see mich damage from the thrips. The runt in the 50 has some silver ingredients on it. I'm considering using spinosad. Those are way earlier in flower and that shit WORKS. WATERED TODAY;BIG MK ULTRA 1.5, THREE IN THE BACK ROW, CHEMDOG AND TENTH PLANET ALL GOT 1 GALLON. THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. I THEN FED EVERYTHING WITH A QUART OF FOOD. I'll keep an eye out on the dosage and see what the can handle. I left out plant doctor as I'm dealing with thrips. Took a leaf that looked like sep off the pink kush in the 50 with half used soil. The plants that I treated with citric acid looked no worse for the wear and actually BETTER than they hadcthe day before. The other 10th planet and the Pink kusg in the ten are the worst. If I can't beat it I may junk them. I'm planning on treatingvtge plants I didn't yesterday tonight. I may use a different treatment I'm not sure. EDIT: Went back over and took a few pics and a video. I defoliated a SHIT TON of leaves. I can just tell the ones that the thrips have been sucking and laying eggs. It's windy as hell. Plants are going crazy. I'm wondering if the wind will hurt the thrips. Maybe I should've just stood with the wind at my back and throw a buNch of D.E. in the air and have it coat the plants. I'm scared of using d.e. because it absorbs so much water. It's like 80%! The year I had fusarium I put a bunch of d.e. on the soil and it retained water like a mofo. The plants I treated showed no I'll effects. I'm th8nkobg I'm going to remove patient zero and isolate it. And I'm considering using spinosad on the pink kush. What would you do? If you had to use something in the middle of flower or loss your crop which would you choose? I'll probably just use citric acid or the rubbing alcohol. I don't know. I'll keep it updated. I HAD A PRETTY GOOD METHOD BUT IT WAS SLOW. I PUT THE LEAF BETWEEN MY GLOVED HAND AND SPRAYED THAN RAN THE LEAF THROUGH MY FINGERS TO AVOID FLOWER. ON PLANTS WITH SMALLER FLOWERS I WAS ABLE TO JUST FOLD THE LEAVES UPWARD AND GET THE BOTTOMS. ILL CHECK AND SEE HOW IT WORKED IN THE MORNING AND GO FROM THERE. WE GOT SOME GOOD RAIN TODAY. IM WORRIED ABOUT MOLD THOUGH. THATS WHY IM HESITANT TO SPRAY BUT SOME FLOWER IS BETTER THAN NONE. 8/26 IT POURED last night. Sheet rain. I'm seriously considering spunosad on the pink kush as it's earlier in flower and I think it could handle it. I might just use this spray first and see how it goes. Buds are swelling and seem bigger everyday. I looked at some old diaries and I can see ive had thrips before. I also have some insect (ear wigs or pillars) that target lower branches and kinda lollipop them. I hope it's not earwigs because I've had bas luck dealing with them. I'll have to check at night. EDIT: WENT OVER AROUND THREE TO CHECK THINGS OUT. PLANTS LOVED THAT RAIN AND SEEMED TO LOVE THE TREATMENT AS WELL. THAT RAIN AND WIND DEFINATELY DISRUPTED THE THRIPS. THE SPRAY I USED SHOULD KILL ON CONTACT AND SUFFOCATE EGGS AND LARVAE. PLANTS LOOK THE HAPPIEST IVE SEEN THEM IN A WHILE. A good week this week 😁 She seems to be taking life better so i decided to snap the top 😱😂 Pinched and bent her over a bit to let the little ones see the light. Fractal week 18 & 19. 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. busy week, went from nursery bags to the final pots (3 gal airpots). autowatering system set up, fertigating 4x per day for 20secs each time - @ light ons, +5 hrs, +5 hrs, +5 hrs. went up to ~310 PAR, about 20 DLI. 1200 EC, 6.0 PH. temp and humidity pretty consistent, around 80 during the day, 76 at night. VPD is 0.8 - 1.0. topped, trimmed everything under node 3 and started LST on nodes 3 and 4 preparing for quadline. going to take a couple of days to bounce back after the topping but then I expect to see some nice growth. planning on running the quadlines out until they get close to the other plants and then I'll flip to flower and stretch upwards. have a new humidifier coming this week and switching everything over to the AC infinity controllers, as right now I have a mish-mash of controllers and a humidifier that doesn't work with them, so I should really be able to dial everything in even better. upgraded my timelapse camera to a 2k one, still trying to dial it in, fix software issues and stop moving it to get better video. getting there

Rainbow melon what can I say? This plant is absolutely one of my favorite so far out of the fast buds genetics. I’ve grown a couple other genetics before and I have to say fast buds definitely checks all the boxes almost makes it too easy. The plant literally grows itself like it has a mind of its own handling low stress training absolutely amazing. Seems like it wants to have a perfect canopy. Very little TLC and the plant absolutely is thriving. 🌿🔥

Second week of flower went well. The plant has over double the size at this point and we have early signs buds forming within the second week. Continuing to keep the light about 12 to 14 in above the canopy as the plant stretches. Plants are getting really bushy will prepare for a day 21 leaf strip to clear out the canopy and to allow for air flow while dropping humidity. Will also try to implement a second scrog for support.Currently The single seed Sent from khalifa for grow Contest is tallest pheno in the tent and healthiest looking that pheno will show on the top right in any of the disclosed pictures and videos.

Well after asking some questions I discovered that all the autopots were 7 or more ph So I flushed plants down to 6.3ish and dumped entire autopot system. I had been checking reisvor but not the actual pots. They are freshly fed and phd down to 5.9. I hope that helps All the new growth looks green. i'm hoping things are better and just a bit stunted. Definitly FAR from where it should be though After a few days the res is 5.9 but the damn pots are fucking 7 again! I'm not gonna flush these bitches again. i dropped the res to 5.5 and mixxed in some of that in the autopots and the are now 6.2ish. Fuck it I hope that helps, they seem to be doing ok, so I think it was just on the edge of the spectrum. I hope dropping the PH gradually a bit works 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I have two plants that look good but small. 1 plant that looks small and fucked and one that looks big and fucked. I'm just looking for a game finish achievement Not much change over the last few days. more of the bottom leaves are yellowing and i can tell the plants are suffering but i think i just have to play this out. PH was 7 again in the res so i lowered it down to 6.2 and finally got a water pump in there. i'm hoping it circulates the water and helps keep the ph in check. The pots are higher again 6.6ish... This next feeding i will blast that down to 5.5 and try and hold it there a week. I got the tent camera going so i have a live feed up too. Its nice!

FLOWERING WEEK 1 - 4TH DAY FLOWERING/WORM TEA

It's the same height that it was last week but I did top it this week. So she did grow I just cut her back down. I topped and defoliated every plant. I'm trying to form them into canna-bushes. Hopefully I'm doing the correct training procedures to make them all grow that way both indoors and out.

Day 21 Flowering: Well what a week it has been this week growmies Dealing with flash heat waves , building soils , setting up new lights and generally trying to squeeze every last inch of my grow space for plants without creating a stagnant lower growth below the canopy . airflow is vital with such a cramped , hot and dense budded canopy starting. I have been feeding the Banana mash with a slightly lighter feed than the Purple monkey and they look a lot less toxic. Still way behind the Purple Monkey for bud production and density , theyvare stretching wildly still. The main 3 are very similar in size etc but #4 is really getting like a bowl of noodles now and will need some serious thinning out and brutal decisions in who goes to harvest time. Being in the middle of the canopy she is really trying to spread out wider too. The Banana mash are really good,vigorous growers with lots of side branching to create some really big plants full of budsites , the key will be if you can utilise all of that growth or if ,like me, you need to select the best branches and tips to focus on. The Purple Monkey are all doingreally good and for 21 days , the buds are very well developed. It could indicate an early flowering finish around 7 weeks possibly but I am hoping it is more about their intended finish being huge buds. The #1and #2 are really packing the weight on amd stacking the nodes already. this gives their buds a really solid appearance already and I will be very cautious of allowing moisture to build up with this density . The #3 is a different pheno to the other 2 and her buds are further apart and more spikey looking. She is also trying to hit the clouds still so need to be firmly held down if you want to keep them low. I have been supercropping the tallest of the limbs and trying to keep them upright enough to stay in the light available. She will need support once her buds pack the weight on. They are all starting to smell so sweet too and even now have a nice sticky appeal when touched. I could not recommend this strain enough and love growing it already. The purple is starting to appear in #2 already and should continue as it is not related to temp drops at all that can happen . Shebwill live up to her namesake i think. The other 2 are pure white and solent green looking buds which are a great examples of what they can do. I can only see a great yield from how they are going now and wishbinjad a room full of them .lol. The other 2 crosses are both starting to hit their stretch max now with the Exotic? really looking thick and bushy and showing her sex now. She needs to stretch now to get her mains up into the canopy without the tub underneath. The Mango X Mimosa is in full flowering mode for sure with no signs of any male gonads or hermie behaviour...It is making a huge plant so far and with the massive growth of the father being the main driver I think and she/he put out over 5oz. Fingers crossed for that size with beautiful exotic mango cream buds ..... So there we have it for this update growmies. Hope the video isn't too long this time guys but a lot happening in the room.
