when you grow a feminised photoperiodic outdoors you have to bring time and patience. she is growing and is strong. still no sign of sex. she hasn't really had much stress, so i'm not worried about her turning male. i'll just keep growing her. her sister, RQS Northern Light is also doing very well. both have been given a homemade fertiliser made from aquafaber, coffee grounds and banana peel. they liked it very much.

Wow...they doubled in size over the past week. I had to hang up every grow light that I own. I could really use 1 more good light, but I have no cash right now. They will just have to work with what I have. I defoliated most of the big leafs earlier in the week. They seem really happy in my grow environment. Tiny little buds have formed up on all of them and I think that all I got for this week .

It's been 42 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. 4/15/25 This plant is blowing my freaking mind. Long stacked colas. Even the lower buds are plumping up like golf balls. This is an exceptional plant so far. Shes starting to show the classic "sherbert" purple that ive noticed shows up with anything that has sunset sherbert in the lineage. Some of the leaves are starting to fade slightly and the purple is coming in. The rs11 that this seed came from, produced the most from a single plant out of all plants ive grown and trained and kept that small. She yielded 3.5 ounces or a 1/4lb of top nugs from a plant that was only about 18 inches tall and vegged for 6 weeks before flip. Once i start to clear out all of the fan leaves later on in flower, its just going to be buds running the length of the stems 4/18/25 I really believe this may be a keeper. She is absolutely stunning. Just everything is perfect. She has super long stacking of buds up and down the stems. Im actually super stoked to see how she finishes up. One of the craziest parts is that shes in a plastic 2 or 3 gallon pot and this plant is going to yield insane.

July 27: still growing fast. The new growth is a bit yellow and I haven’t decided what that’s due to. Lack of sulphate or excess Phosphorus are the two options I think. Anyway, she’s doing fine and is startling to preflower. 👍 Started using a 730 nm far red light for a few seconds at dusk. This is called phyto-forcing apparently because it promotes flowering. I really love science when it figures out random shit like how photosynthesis and light wavelength (or colour) interact. Outdoor plants naturally see a flash of far red light just before darkness and this light kind of ‘puts it to sleep’ or into dark mode two hours faster. So, two extra hours darkness or a 26 hour day. Sounds bogus but is totally legit. July 28: foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. July 30: plant is looking great. The yellow on the new growth has faded and is now a better looking shade of green. I think it might have been excess P because the other plants kind of had it too and the timing was a couple days after adding barley and Power Bloom. This is right at the start of flowering when plants need lot of P, and the yellow is fading, so I’ll just let it go without doing anything about it. She’ll get over it.

WEEKLY GOALS : --------------------------- - pluck the whole room !!! - stake all large spudz that need may need support for down the road . - run a cleaner through my lines ( which switching over to auto pots , I want these ladies to have a clean line of path for ALOT of drinking 🚰) - take any shoots that are too far barried in the canopy to flower correctly. I used some lollipopping to boost the growth of the main colas. In the first 3 pics above you can see the difference between the two different sized pots. The 20 lt ones have more space to grow and produce a more branched and complex structure.

Vegetation Phase - Week 5 Week 5 marks a bittersweet milestone. RIP to the Marienkäfer homie — gone but never forgotten. Their watchful eyes and pest-snacking legacy will forever live on in the tent. Meanwhile, the Donutz gang is thriving and about to hit the next big step in their journey: the 7-liter pot upgrade. Updates & Changes: RIP Marienkäfer: Nature giveth and taketh away. The tent feels a little emptier without our little guardian, but pest pressure remains nonexistent thanks to their diligent work. Transplant Time: The plants are moving up to 7L pots this week, giving their roots the room they need to expand and thrive before flipping to bloom. This upgrade will ensure a strong foundation for the explosive growth coming soon. Watering: Still sticking with reverse osmosis (RO) water for maximum control and cleanliness. Plan for Flower Transition: After the transplant, the plants will chill for the rest of the week in their new homes to recover and adjust. Week 6 will cover the flip to flower. With the clean lollipopped structure and solid root development, these plants are set to focus all their energy on producing hefty main colas in the Sea of Green setup. Observations: The Donutz are stacking beautifully, with healthy green leaves and strong stems. The SOG canopy is filling out, and each plant is shaping up to deliver a uniform, productive grow. Next Steps: Monitor the plants closely after transplanting to ensure they adjust smoothly to the 7L pots. Maintain stable environmental conditions to avoid stress during the final veg phase. Prepare for the flip to flower in Week 6 — the real show is about to begin!

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. This was a good week for the Purple Punch, she really started to stretch and grew 14 inches in the last 7 days. I did start transitioning her from veg to flower nutrients yesterday. She is now feeding on Silica, Cal Mag, and 50/50 veg and flower nutrients. She has 3 shoots coming off some nodes and only one coming off other nodes. This is the first genetically mutated cannabis plant that I have grown so we will see what happens. The Medic grow light is now running at 100% in F1 Flower mode and I am also integrating the UV/IR bar for approximately 90 minutes per day just before lights off. I will continue to transition her to flower nutrients over the week and by next week at this time all three ladies will be feeding from the same reservoir with Silica, Cal Mag, Maxi Bloom, and Liquid Kool Bloom which is a PK booster. I keep the PH in the reservoir between 5.5 and 6.5 and prefer fluctuations between this range as some nutrients uptake better at different PH's within this range. I will probably do one last light defoliation in the next couple of days and that will be about it other than keeping the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. Trichomes are cloudy but not any amber's yet, but she is super frosty and smells like a gorillas armpit and fuel 17/1 chopped her tonight she had 24 hours of dark before the chop.

Did LST and topped Pheno 1 & 2, 3 is too funky to mess with. I think PH was just my issue and possible too high intensity light as I lowered to 60%, but also brought my PH to 6.5 so I'm guessing that helped too.
