Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful Apple Betty ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 - I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the stems close to the base, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM…my mix is Promix HP with about 20% worm castings added to it. This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development by adding all kinds of interconnected webbing and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ x2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. Dia 43 - Ya van clareando el último internudo lo que indica un inicio de prefloración. Se puede ver en las puntas una leve clorosis, esto es normal por lo que comenté en las semanas anteriores del posible exceso por la forma de las puntas, con el cambio de solución nutritiva eso ya se ha corregido y las hojas son perfectamente normales, simplemente el daño, aunque leve, ya estaba hecho ypero no tiene por que ir a más ni afectar al desarrollo de la planta.

Week 2 vegetat

Aug 9: Now done three weeks of flowering for Tropicana Cookies EV. She is the youngest plant but also the tallest and looking quite happy. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going for the first time. Used these last year and they seem to work. UV lights stimulates trichome production and makes up for weak sunlight this far north. Aug 12: has stretched again but the bud sites are filling nicely. Pistils have started to turn pink. This plant is looking very happy and will likely be a big producer. Added another top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. It has been about two weeks at least since the last round, and this will be the final round. Stopped using molasses about two weeks ago. Great for growing but I don’t want to be smoking sugar. Use during veg stage but only 2-3 weeks into flowering.

My first flowering week started. I removed some larger Leaves but not too much, just so more light will get to the right spots. Still more has to be removed in the upcoming weeks, but i will do it step by step. The plants really get sticky now and smell much more. They didn't stretch much by now, sure they grew up but not really more then the week before, guess stretch will happen next week then. RG #2 really hangs behind but i thought this would happen, in worst case i just put another pot under it so it will be on the same level, just like with Special Queen #1, but i still hope it will catch up in 1-2 weeks. Im so scared of hermies, i hope everything will go well. See you next week :)

Harvest day 66 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. The growth was great from start to finish. She had no problems at all and also had no problems with animals 👍. I'm amazed at the great smell the beautiful buds give off😀. Of course I cut cuttings and if the taste is as good as the smell it will be grown again ☺️. A final report comes with the Smoke Report. 11/03/18 Everything is going well. No issues at all. Plucking a leaf here n there but no real defoilation. Between the Black Magic Soil, and AACT this run has been smooth sailing no deficiencies or leaf damage at all. Humidity still cranked up to make up for the lack of humidity in veg. Will reduce over the next few weeks. 11/05/18 Decided to defoilate today. The plants always look sad to me and I feel bad. They always recover though and come back better then ever!

***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊
