Blue dream begins her flushing! She's got about 5 % trichomes and a very nice fruity citrus smell. Buds are decent size and the plant looks happy. Very excited to smoke this round 2 run of Blue Dream. It's the final countdown to harvest! Thanks for taking a look at my grow! 👽🌳

Some explosive growth This week. She has calmed down on the drinking a little. The ph has stayed pretty level between 5.6 to 5.8 all week. Pistols are really starting to make an appearance. This will be the last week she gets the transition set of nutrients. I added another 450w viparspectra for flower. Sorry about some of the darker pics I got home right as the lights went out tonight. The smell is still light not heavy at all. She filled the scrog well. I am so surprised at how well this plant is doing now it’s like nothing ever happened. Plant got about 17 hours of dark yesterday do to my power going out cause someone hit a telephone pole in the neighborhood..... back on schedule today and we are at day 13 of flip. According to breeder we have about 8 more weeks to go. I’m no expert but I think she is done stretching (i think)..... I can say as a beginner grower this is an excellent strain so far for my level of experience. Been a little cold at night here but so far no issues

Hey now, hope everyone is haing a great weekend. The Sundae Driver is doing pretty well, she is 2 weeks from getting wet under the Spectrum X which is only cranked up to 30% so she is putting out close to 230 Watts for the 7 seedlings. I will only keep 5 of them and give a couple away as I think even 5 mainlines will be tight in my 5X5 tent. My plan is to transplant them in a couple days, and then top them for the first time at the third node around day 20, and then hopefully top her again around day 27, then again hopefully around day 30, and then flip her to flower by then end of week 6 or 7 at the latest. If i go much past there I think I will run out of room but we will see how it goes. First time ever running a Royal Queen Seeds Strain, but I have smoked this Sundae Driver before and she was one of the tastiest strains I have ever tried, so very excited for this run. todo muy bien! esperando paciente el desarrollo de los cogollos, conociendo y viendo los puntos de maduracion asi como la fertilizacion ajustando a su maximo que creemos posible para incentivar que los cogollos engorden, ahora en adelante les hare segumiento de la grande principalmente, que es la que cumple con la edad del diario, ya que las otras como se explico en un principio venian recien cultivadas por eso tienen un par de semanas de retraso , tambien hay una hermafrodita, que al detectar como comentamos semanas anteriores aplicamos al tecnica vista de un cultivador mexicano, consistia en romper los brotes de machos las pelotas con el fin de que no vuelvan a salir, dejando solo los pelos estigmas de las hermbras, si bien el cogollo queda maltratado, al parecer se detiene el crecimiento, asi que estamos viendo como rinde ese experimento.

So. From the early beginning, this plant was my favourite. So she didn't dissapoint me. If we remember that fact that for last 3 weeks i was taking some every day, overall outcome was still very good. the high is amazing, and the smell is 'something'. I would recommend this strain to everyone if you are thinking to get one.

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

3/25/21 - Today I fed with a little bit of Big Bloom. They really seem to respond well to it. 3/26/21 - They look great! No feeding today. I removed the humidity dome today. We are transplanting into the grow closet on 4/01/21. They will be in the grow closet until harvest under LED. 3/27/21 - Autopilot today. No feeding. I’ll feed tomorrow with more Big Bloom. They could be transplanted today but we are going to run the rest of this week. 3/28/21 - Fed with Big Bloom. All plants have roots coming out of the bottom of the cups. We’ll be moving them to 5 gallon fabric pots in a few days. 3/29/21 - No water today. They all look good. Transplant day is coming! 3/30/21 - I put some water in the tray so the plants could get water if needed. I don’t think they need any water today. 3/31/21 - I gave each plant a small feeding of Big Bloom. Tomorrow they will be transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and be given water for at least 2 weeks. See ya on week 4!
