Trichome Takeover! ❄️🍰 : The Cake is Frosting Up! Welcome to Week 8! This Wedding Cake Auto is really living up to her name now. The "stretch" from the previous weeks has finally settled, and she is focusing all her energy on stacking those buds. The frost is becoming much more apparent trichomes are starting to crawl onto the sugar leaves, and the scent is getting deeper and more doughy every time I open the tent. I’m really impressed with how she handled the topping and LST earlier on; the canopy is nice and even, and every bud site is getting a prime spot under the Agyrochy LED. Feeding & Environment: Watering: She’s getting thirsty! I’ve maintained a steady watering schedule, making sure to keep the pH around 5.5-6.0 as she bulks up. Nutrients: Continuing with the mix. She seems to be loving the current PPM levels (around 800), so I’m sticking to the plan without pushing too hard. Zamnesia really knocked it out of the park with these genetics. Low effort, high reward so far! Can't wait to see how much more she swells in the coming days.

Z-Up ist fertig und bin überrascht , obwohl sie so klein war hat sie am meisten abgeworfen. Schöne Buds, Gutes High aber der Geruch und Geschmack holt mich Persöhnlich jetzt nicht so ab, kann aber auch an meinen growkünsten liegen 😅. Getrocknet wurde im Dryfermbag und paar Blüten an der Luft. Ich merke da kein großen unterschied, die Buds im Bag waren minimal "smoother" angenehmer zu rauchen aber ansonsten kein unterschied gemerkt.

09 October 2018 - Day 106 Flush run well, Buds have increased and thickened up nicely. Day 107 - No more burn and buds are growing. Day 108 - Conditions are good. Day 109 - Noticed heavy and healthy root growth. Last day before trim Day 110 - Trimmed and Harvested. ** Tent was required ** Day 111 - Colour and smell has become stronger Day 112 - Still drying

~ DUTCH PASSION / SUPER SATIVA SEED CLUB FAST FLOWER 'TESTER' A and 'TESTER' B ~ Well cannafam, here we go again on another growing adventure together! This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/16- Week Five is here and I couldn't be happier with how both of the Testers from Dutch Passion/SSSC are doing! Both are continuing to have excellent vigor and are 'praying' hard every day... VERY happy ladies! 5/18- Today, I watered both Testers with 1.5g of straight well water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 70℉. I also removed some new shoots growing down low on both plants to help redirect energy towards the upper portions. 5/20- Yesterday and today were cool and rainy, so all I really did was to spend some quality time with the ladies, giving them both a good looking over to catch any issues well before they get out of hand. Both looked fantastic! 5/22- Yesterday, both Testers were watered with 2g of well water with 3 tbsp/g of Worm Tea concentrate, which was ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. I have also started to do some HST on both, twisting and bending branches to allow light to reach down into their canopies. Well fam, Week Six of veg is on the books for these two gorgeous girls from Dutch Passion/Super Sativa Seed Club and I am absolutely impressed with how well both are doing despite the rather warm temp's right now... 2 weeks and 3 days into flower. Improved air ventilation by moving oscillating fan to the top of the tent, moved extractor fan to the bottom of tent and reversed polarity for more air circulation. LST scrog net applied. AFGOO strain seems to be flowering much quicker than GC strain.

I cut feeding towards the end of week 8 , the plants could have easily gone for another week but at this point the tops were loosing all colour so I decided to harvest at the end of week 8. The trichomes were cloudy and clear with a few Amber.

Explosive growth this week. They are ready for the flip and will be going into 12/12 in two days This strain is by far and away the fastest and most heavy veg growth in the garden. Seeing some of the harvests on here (AstroBoy) makes me drool. Big thanks to OSS for the tester beans

They survived another week. Lowered the temp to 72 for the remainder of the grow. Wanting to see if it adds anything to the flavors and aroma. Just going to keep the juice pumping until they dont want anymore.

As of day 14, the Blackberry is growing well! The growth is vigorous and pretty healthy, so I am going to just keep doing what I am doing. I am temporarily using dry cal-mag crystals to the same ppm/EC (.5-.6) as calimagic hasn't caused any issues yet. I can make my way through the bag I have before buying more calimagic, and not be wasteful! The Blackberry will be ready to be topped this week, so that will definitely be updated when the time is right. Happy growing, and stay safe everyone! 🌱👍 Day 15: plant has been FIMed! Day 17: the plant is continuing to have healthy vegitative growth. I am waiting for slightly longer branches, and then I can start training the plant. Day 19: good, bushy growth 👍

Week 5 and looking alive! Lol added a few things this week. Two infared heat lamps for warming up the cool start to their day. I also added a deep red light for evening and morning simulation.

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia. We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudice against this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is from an autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it from the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering plants. She is the Black Orchid I have never grown her but I have seen some truly phenomenal photos of this plant. I really hope they come out black. I love it. ---- New Home - The ladies have almost all been transplanted into 11-liter pots, which is my favorite size to get the best ratio of plants in the grow box / yield.
