Hemos empezado un cultivo con semillas del banco Sweet Seeds y toda la gama de nutrientes y coco premium de Plagron. Es nuestra primera vez con coco y esta marca de nutrientes pero nos va a sorprender para bien! Primero diluimos siete gotas de seedbooster plus en un litro de agua y dejamos la semilla en esa dilución 12 horas. Esa misma agua la usaremos para empapar el papel donde pondremos a germinar las semillas. Al segundo día ya tenemos las semillas nacidas, y los líquidos de riego los haremos a un ph de 5,8 y usaremos power roots, silice rock y pure zym para cada riego con una EC de 0,5. Una vez a la semana haremos una pulverización de vita start y otro día a la semana vita race. Hacemos una dilución de estos mismos de 1 ml por cada litro de agua para pulverizar dejando bien empapadas las hojas. Vita start nos aporta un npk bajo para nuestras pequeñas y vita race le aporta hierro, de manera que con ellas conseguimos un mejor enraizamiento, ramificación y un color sano de nuestras pequeñas en sus hojas. Tendremos que ir subiendo el nivel de la Ec, ya que pecaremos de cautos en comida al no haber usado nunca coco antes.😎

Start week

Second week of flower. The girls are looking great. Day 10 - Realizing that I may have waited too long to flip to flower. Plants are over-hanging my table.

This was an amazing experience for my first grow. Was super unsure of what I was going to yield, but I think 27 grams is a realistic harvest and Im looking forward to see if I can get bit larger of a yield on the next run. I want to try main-lining, see for better energy distribution and more equal bud growth. Also investment into a proper reflector and possibly enclosed space. Note- I trimmed my plant the night before harvest morning. I removed than fan leaves to start, and then proceeded to trim the plant. I pulled out a lot of the leaves with no frost by hand. The sugar leaves had so much crystal on it I thought I would leave the smaller ones on the bud. I gave it a light trim, and used all the trim to make Isopropyl Alcahol (99%) based extract. Got about 1 gram from the run. I also had a nice little ball of finger charas from the trimming. I harvested it in the morning at about 04:30 am before the light cycle triggered at 7am. She hung and dried for about a week, where I then chopped her into buds. She cured for 2 weeks before i started smoking. Ask anything you want to know! Day 49 update (Sunday 7/14/19): Almost time to chop! I think my humidity is finally going to be manageable for the drying- the second dehumidifier helped enough it seems. I cut out the base nutes (which for a few days were at quarter strength). I decided to stop with sugaree. No more cal/mag - I guess I should have cut that out weeks ago even in coco? So many different trains of thought. So I’ve now been flushing for a couple days using only water and canna boost and cannazyme along with mammoth p and hydroguard (ppm is at 200). I’m not PH correcting the reservoir tank and it’s up to 6.9/7.0 ph (I actually added a tiny bit of ph down before I decided to not worry about it) - I’m not sure if I like this strategy (seems to be an unsettled debate about ph correcting during final flush) I’ll switch to FloraKleen and water only (and still not ph corrected) for the last few days (in a few days or so - maybe a bit longer) THOUGHTS ANYONE?? I went to bed last night looking at pictures of bud rot and when I woke up I was convinced I had some. I actually chopped my first bud off the plants! one of my possible mold suspects (and one of the largest). Manhandled it - dug around - (I did use gloves and I did sorta try to be careful but...) I probably lost and damaged a bazillion trichomes - but.... it’s fine! No mold/bud rot at all. Beautiful actually. Some of the little fan leaves just turned prematurely yellow awhile ago and some extra areas of red hairs that concerned me but It’s great! Super stinky. Super nice. Dense. Pretty. I’m hanging that one nice big bud in the flower tent above the lights and in the corner away from a direct fan breeze (this is not at all ideal - the main harvest will be done in darkness; with no other humid plants in the tent; with proper air flow; lower temps; and they’ll have had a full flush unlike this nice cola I chopped with its “partial” flush only (see above) . It’ll be nice to experiment with taste before and after a flush since there seems to be so much debate about this. But I suppose my dry will differ too so not a very controlled test. This bud seems to be plenty mature and ripened - some amber trichomes - so I think this one bud chop may turn out to be a nice experiment caused by my neurosis about non existent bud rot) Woot.

A few weeks into flower now for the original Malt MIlkshake MM#1 with heavy purple punch face off terps and the MM#2 is smelling like a sweet gassy waffle cone DO NOT SLEEP ON CLEARWATER GENETICS!

Most ladies are showing signs of flowering so today I will start counting the weeks. Here u can also see my mutant/special ladies. They germinated a bit different from the others. Day 3 of flower is showing some major progress‼️🙌🏽 I did NOT top any of these mutated plants. I only removed some very ugly growing leaves. So everything u see on them is done by mother nature.

######################################### HARVEST (Day 93 / June 4) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x2 space because of heater and dehumidification and other plants (Outlier Z). This plant used a dedicated CMH 315 light. The plant was grown in hydroponics using a custom single-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. I also experimented with Rapid start in the RDWC system, but I didn't see explosive root growth relying on Rapid Start as an additive to the system verse using it when starting in rapid rooters which worked well. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Topped twice for a mainline structure and she really spread out. Sparkling golf ball size nugs down the branches and spaced out nicely. The scent off her was like burned rubber/tires or maybe fresh blacktop. A single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- No dark period and no flush. On day 93 she was chopped and hung to dry. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- Entire plant hung upside down for 15 days. The temps were dialed in at 60F by using the S6 intake fan pulling air from the AC through intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 7, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. Trimmed on day 18. Then the jars were left open in the tent for another 12 more days for a full 30 day dry at 60%/60F while rolling the jars frequently. Also ran dehumidifier in the tent but it only ran for 1-2 minutes every hour because the AC was doing most of the dehumidification on the intake. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- Trimming was an absolute breeze. All swelled nuggets, very little sugar leafs left to trim. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and chose not to use a boveda this time. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. Jars were left open in the tent for a total dry time of 30 days from harvest keeping the tent at 60%/60F. Once closed, the jars were burped once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange until a. 62% was maintained in the jar. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 30-day dry and 14-day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== 180.41g (6.44oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== 57g (2.03oz) ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Total: 238.41g (8.51oz) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 238.41g / 4 sqft (2x2 canopy) = 59.60g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 315 Watts / 4 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 78.75 watts per sqft. 238.41g / 315 watts = 0.76 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- Bag appeal is top-notch. Trichome covered, with aromas of that unique 'kush' you can quickly identify based on experience. Best OG Kush I've ever tried, hands down! The flavour is kushy, smoke is smooth and definitely my favorite strain in my tote of cured harvests at the moment. I can't keep my hands off of the jars. Definitely not a daytime strain, even for experienced users, although I'll use it in the afternoon when life is throwing curve balls. The effects rise you up, then sets you right down and will wash away all that anxiety after a long day. Put it this way....if I puff a few hours before bed, I still feel it the next morning when I peel my eyes open. No joke. I'll definitely be growing this one again, maybe even next run because I'll be sad when I run out. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Not running more of this amazing plant. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- This was the first run at my new residence so it will take some time to get it dialed in. I had some calibration issues which are now fixed. I'm going to be shooting for 1gram per watt on the next run. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- DarkOwl is the best autoflower I've grown yet. Some of the plants showing more signs of yellowing from watering issues and ph issues. Luckily I was able to get a nice strong batch of Boogie Brew compost tea made and gave them all a nice soak and bath with it. Within two days all but one of the plants bounced back. Now that the plants are able to fend for themselves a little better was a good opportunity to try to harden them off the ones going outside to the elements outside. I did so by placing on a shaded part of my deck for a few hours. I was also able to get my tent inside ready and they were moved from the small cool grows tent to my 4x8 tent with my big lights. I adjusted the light to be around 500 PPFD at canopy.

So we’ve come to a slow down on the stretch and they’ve started to work n creating flowers, I defoliated about 10-15% of the fan leaves and removed stems that had less vigor or was too under the canopy and wouldn’t of created any good flowers as these plants are a whopping near 50” so proud to be a loyal Martian! The lights are so powerful and provide the plants with the power of the sun ☀️

Welcome to week 6 y'all. Things continue to progress nicely, this little lady has started to grow flowers and at present I count about 11 bud sites on the canopy. The flowers are developing nicely and it looks like they have some dark purple colouring around the flower... neat. In addition to the LST I've been doing some light defoliation. Nothing major just a leaf here or there to expose flowers to light. She's really low but really flat not the prettiest plant but strong. Looking ahead to this week I ordered a new grow light from Mars Hydro which should get those buds to fatten up nicely. I might increase the water a bit and continue to feed with Dutch Science Nutrients' Bloom Baby Bloom and adjust LST not much more defoliation should be required until later on like week 8 I think.

420Fastbuds FBT2307 Week 9 What up fellow growers. Weekly update for these three amazing girls. All seem to be growing good even the one to the left that's been fighting me the whole grow. The other two's flower sites are swelling up nice at this stage of flower. The middle one has decided to go into beast mode since transitioning into flower showing growth daily. Over all no big issues to be to worried about getting some fade/yellowing in the leafs but over all Happy Growing.
